Whats up! I can't talk no smack, I haven't worked on Rust Bucket in a long time. Today I'm going to dump a bunch of scrap lumber off of my 16ft trailer. I can then go get the 14 bolt and GM Dana 44 8-lug from out at my friends house thats going under Rust Bucket. Glad to see ya still hanging around the channel! I really appreciate it and hope you still enjoy the content. Have a great day!

Sometimes my trip-odometer sticks when I clear it out, My gas gauge doesn't work. My float in my tank catches on something. So I keep track of when I need to fill up by the miles on my trip odometer. Any idea on how to fix it. I'm a senior citizen and can't crawl around under my Jeep, like I did years ago...

Trip-odometer probably needs to be cleaned and lubed so you have to pull it out of the dash. Which may also mean that you may need to go under the Jeep to disconnect the speedometer cable to be able to get the speedometer out of the dash as shown in the video. Float probably sticking on that little white "tub" that is inside the fuel tank. They often warp and start catching the fuel level float. The gas gauge not working could be the fuel-sending unit, a bad connection between the tank to the gauge, or the gauge itself. To repair anything with the float hanging on the "little tub" or fuel-sending unit you will have to drop the fuel tank. To test the fuel gauge you need to get to the plug that is between the fuel tank and the floor of the Jeep. If you don't have a body lift, that means lowering the tank down some.
