Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! Junkyards are better than an amusement park to me!! I saw some deer on the farm a couple of weeks ago. Haven't seen any turkey in a while.

The Jeep Patriot is based on a Mitsubishi "GS" platform (along with the Compass) while the Grand Cherokee's and first gen Liberty's (with sme DNA from a Neon) are original Jeep designs all together.

I did not know that. I enjoy learning from others so thank you for sharing that information. I did find out not long ago that the tcase from a first gen Liberty is the same as some Cherokees. The 4 speed automatic is shared with some TJs. Sooo ... that kind of gave me an itch to build one for the fun of it. I got to finish my other projects first .. lol. Thanks for checking out the video and leaving some great information! Have a great day!!

You should have bought a few Ford 8.8 axles to resell. For many years if I went to a junkyard for anything, I would end up leaving with another axle that I didn't need. Couldn't resist... LOL Especially when I was getting them for $60 to $80. I had so many Ford Explorer 8.8, XJ Chrysler 8.25, XJ Dana-30 HP, Honda/Isuzu Dana-44, and the occasional XJ or MJ Dana-44. If I didn't leave with an axle, I would at least grab a transfer case. I think I am over that now. Maybe?

I live in the middle of a subdivision. Otherwise, I'd have my own junkyard :-)

2001 - 2005. It depends on your Jeep seat risers, 1990 and down have a different seat bolt pattern than the 1991 - 1995.
