You might not have newfangled things like juicers, but you’re always supposed to juice the whole melon, including the rind and it makes for a very rich, thick, good tasting much healthier juice. If you only use the pink part, it’s just like sugar, water, and hits your bloodstream very fast.

Don’t eat raw eggs! They have salmonella in them! You can buy Davidson pasteurized eggs, or you can pasteurize them yourselves at home

Ron - when I started farming after I retired from a career in IT, I found myself needing to work with my hands more. I switched to wearing a silicone rubber ring. They are WAY safer than wearing a metal ring for folks who work with their hands, especially around spinning devices like a lathe or a tractor PTO. As an added bonus - the silicone rings are dirt cheap - so if you beat one up or get tired of how it looks, it's no great tragedy to dump it and buy another. Take care and God Bless.

I tell you..if id heard Ron's fart joke, id have cracked up laughing 😂 I guess the security guard had asked that same question hundreds of times and was totally bored out of his mind... poor guy ..any sense of humour he'd had, must've disappeared a long time ago. ❤

I'm watching in bed and had to stifle my laughter when you started talking about explosives so I wouldn't wake up my husband. You guys are too funny. I always put salt on my watermelon and cantaloupe. It brings out the flavor. But, due to an illness, I'm on a low sodium diet. Substitute salt just doesnt taste the same. Your watermelon looked delicious.

My parents were married over 50 years and my father never wore a wedding ring. A ring is only a symbol of eternal love, it is not eternal love.

Assault rifles seem to often be the weapon of choice nowadays, so social security doesn't have to show any more concern than they try to. And if they were good security, metal detectors, and more security people would be there, but the gov't clearly doesn't care enough. They do want us to think they care though, with their one security person.

My husband doesn’t wear a ring either. He does work with power tools and such and he says that rings get caught on them. Could be a good way to loose a finger, so he just never has. We have been married for 32 years.

Great video today! So glad to see you both outside to keep cooler. The lemonade sounds great! I would probably use honey rather than white sugar, tough. Justine, there will come a time when Justine Dorn will seem a bit wierd to say. 😉 Love you guys, too! Have a great week! Sue 😊❤

Watermelon grown at home is amazing! Store-bought seedless varieties are bred to have no seeds but at the cost of flavor. One exceptional variety that does well in the south is the CHarleston Grey. Super flavor! Glad you got a great melon!

Hello! I understand your Social Security description. I have worked in the system with Social Security and Medicaid and Medicare and developmental disabilities for individuals for the last 30 years. It definitely will change you, bring you down, and make you wonder what in the world, you can do to change anything. I have just retired and am now so feeling so bereft of feelings that I do not know what to do with myself. Keep smiling!

lots of people put egg yolk in coffee etc. I didn't know it went as far back as the 1800s, to put eggs in your drinks, I just thought it was a weird fad lol. a 200 years old fad!

I've been married 55 years. My hubby has never worn a ring. A ring does not signify love, commitment, or fidelity. Marriage is a secret covenant between the couple and God. Jewelery has nothing to do with that covenant! Love you both. God bless.

My hubby worked at the post office for over 30 years and didn't really do any big handyman/builder stuff so he didn't really have to remove his ring. I, however, always removed my ring when I was gardening or baking to protect it ( the band was joined with the diamond engagement ring). I felt a little naked without it, but, as another commenter said, "The ring doesn't make the marriage". I was happily married for 33 years before he passed. I love watching you two. You remind me of my hubby and I.

My husband originally wasn't going to wear a wedding ring but I told him what's good for the goose is good for the gander so he decided when we got married he would wear one even though it's not traditional around here for men to wear wedding rings unfortunately just like my wedding rings got lost including my engagement ring thanks to him he also lost his wedding ring. I don't usually call him my husband I usually call him my spouse I don't like the term husband.

Ron do what you like I think that it doesn’t take the ring that makes the love in the marriage. It’s just a symbol showing such but you can also show it in many other ways and if the rings don’t fit well you’ll get around to fixing them one day, me and my wife, we don’t wear rings either, we have them but we just don’t wear them my job and hers as well. Doesn’t work well was wearing jewelry so I understand your circumstances and hopefully other people will too. 😊

The plays I grew up in was an old military servicemen's place I guess you'd call it and we found a flag and it had only 48 states 100 year old typewriter and this goes back over 50 years ago cuz I was a little kid at the time... Did you know that US national flags had Fringe on the sides. Will I certainly didn't at the time and I thought the flag very strange because it had only 48 stars and had that Fringe going all the way around.
