This is first part of 1982 Yamaha XJ750 Seca build. We call this Young Gun Cafe Racer because it's going to be built with or by my 14 year old son.
This episode is about first start, electric and front brake teardown
We have not decided yet if this is going to be more Cafe Racer, Scrambler or Tracker style.

Thanks Mike! It’s good father son time! We have done few smaller bikes together in the past. But in those, he was not involved that much. 😊

Did you stop working on this bike? Noticed there's no ep 2... Hopefully you get back to it sometime.. I'm working on the same bike.

Well it’s on hold. We want to do it with my kids, but as my oldest son bought that Yamaha YZ125 motocross bike, he has no time at the moment. Also Kids have Hockey season going so weekends are quite ”full” at the moment… 😂 We, or me, will continue with it as soon as I get CB to powdercoater. 😊

@@plan-bmotos excited to see it. Love that you're doing it with your kid. I'm always trying to get my dad involved or asking him questions because he comes from a generation that rode carb bikes but he's mostly interested in me just getting it running and out of the garage 😂.
