Neck feels lovely and free, so I'll be coming back to this one often, thank you. Did it just after the shoulder arthritis one. Hopefully, all the hip and glute work I'm doing means soon I won't wobble all over the place during the balancing lunges!

Perfect timing with this video, as I have been having more jaw and neck tension than usual, definitely felt a difference at the end of the video, less tension in my neck, jaw, and back. I have been enjoying your videos the last several months! Just curious if your Pelvic Floor Playbook is suited for a more advanced uterine prolapse(Grade 3)? Thanks so much!

So glad to hear you have been enjoying the videos! Isn't so amazing how everything is connection. Yes, the pelvic floor playbook is suited for advanced uterine prolapse. The playbook teaches you how to use your core and pelvic floor optimally and manage intra-abdominal pressure. Too much press leads to prolapse, leaks, pains and more. Breathing and posture are key for this and that is exactly what we go over inside the playbook. Let me know if you have any other questions & keep up the fabulous work 💕

Hi, good info! When it comes to training related to the pelvic floor muscles: do you think doing kegel exercises (regular kegels and reverse kegels) is beneficial as a complement to routines such as the ones you provide e.g. "yoga for better sex"?

  • @DrMelissaOleson

Such a great question! Everyone is different, but in general it is more about learning how to use your core and pelvic floor system and manage intra-abdominal pressure. This is done with breathing and posture. The pelvic floor needs to adapt, respond, react, activate, and length to all of our daily movements. Kegels does not allow for this type of movement and if an individual already has a tension pelvic floor this contributes to more tension. The key is retraining these muscles and having them work in a system.
