Man this video was first class - videographer was incredible, he asked great questions & ended up providing some awesome insights, as well as great footage! The format with Matt adding his insights & ways to incorporate the workout shown to different levels was cool as well. Loved this one!

Coach Cheromei: "pace is 69 seconds" One of the incredible athletes: "So, 68 or 69" Coach Cheromei: "NO. 68.7, it's okay...69.3, it's okay..." Imagine being so elite that you can time your laps to within 0.3 seconds per 400 meters again and again 🤯🤯🤯

Thanks to all Sweat Elite staff for this opportunity to explain our idea of whole staff work based on daily discussion and listening to build a bridge between on field training work, gym field, recovery field, injury reduction risk field. I hope i was useful to exalt the human and technical value of a special guy such as Yeman is. 🎉

As a physio, we encountered amateur marathon runners with spinal asymmetry especially increasing training load in key sessions or peak mileage. It makes sense to look into the trunk included front of the chest and abdomen and spine to let those tightened muscle recover faster.

It’s actually very challenging to make this sustainable financially over the long run. Hence why most channels don’t last more than a few months… the travel involved is usually 3-5X the price of the KZread ad revenue. Meaning must find sponsors. And that’s very channelling for this style of content if you think about it

I would say that the marathon qualifying times are a bit softer than the 10k. The marathon is 2.08.10 and the 10000m 27 mins !!! Loads of runners have run that sort of time for the marathon but far fewer for the 10k! Only 3 guys ran faster than 27mins last year whereas an amazing 187 athletes ran the marathon qualifying time in 2023! The counter argument to that of course would be that even if you run 27.10 you could be in with a shout first of all of qualifying and even being right up at the sharp end in the race. In the marathon it's even more of a lottery!

Why laughing for a physio from Italy and a coach from Kenya ... i don't understand. Yeman is a Team Italy best athlete and his Head Coach is a clever man that every day stays in touch with coaches all over the world to be tomorrow better than today and italian federation let staff works abroad to give the best assistance to its athlete ... like Australian federation does, Uk does ... so, what it seems like strange?

So we actually really didn't give enough credit to his actual coach from Italy, Massimo Pegoretti , who was also at the track that day (he was on camera briefly at points) but was quietly doing his thing in the background didn't want to feature too much on camera. I think Yeman has been with him over 10 years, right from the beginning I think. So big appreciation and credit to him!!
