Cooper Teare and Cole Hocker need no introduction to the KZread running world. Sweat Elite joined two of the world's best milers for a workout in Blacksburg Virginia last week as they prepare for the 2024 outdoor track and field season.
The pair, along with colleague and training partner Aidan Tooker have recently started a new brand - Sova Running: www.sova.run/

I miss Blacksburg (Go Hockies!) and the coach would really do a great job cherning out middle distance and milers is what I noticed. I lived in Radford but eventually settled down in Riner.

Around 13:00 the guys seem to make a move into the grass during their recovery. Is this because grass is softer and it helps out? Or are they just trying to stop the slapping while cooper is speaking to the cam?

Hocker got an indoor silver medal and was 6th in the fastest Olympic 1500 in history, he’s definitely gonna be in the mix

@kennethlandau5396. I am no Cooper Teare fan but give him his due. He ran a 3:32 1500 last May and was USATF champ 2 years ago. I would not be surprised if he ran 3:30 this year although his best event is to make team is the 5000 IMO. The US has its strongest men's 1500 contingent ever. With Nuguse, Hocker and Hobbs any one of those 3 could win a medal.

@@jamesdandeneau2870 lol - he not even top ten - the year he won naguse out, hocker out, centro out, Engels out. Now they’re all back and second tier all better than him and Hobbs is top three. Teare ain’t even usatf finals in 1500. 3:32 is fkng pedestrian at pro level
