Marc Scott, Phil Sesemann & Emile Cairess - Track Session
Marc Scott celebrated his 28th birthday with some fast intervals with friends Phil Sesemann, Emile Cairess and David Mullarkey. Phil and Emile are preparing for Valencia 10km in a few weeks and Marc is in base period and is aiming at World Indoors in a few months time while David is also in base training.
The workout: 3km, 2km, 1600m, 1200m, 800m, 400m with 3min recovery. Paces: fast!

Emile's form is so satisfying to watch. His legs just look so gracefull and he has a very long stride. Going to be rooting for him in the future! Thank you for exposing us to all of these amazing runners!

Interesting how elite athletes spike up during “base training” keeping that speed year round is absolutely necessary.
I spent a lot of time watching what was happening in the background - warm ups and such!
