He’s legit to run a 1:23 600m basically a 1:50 1/2 mile and he looks like he ran 100 yards at a brisk pace

What is the best speed workout can anyone tell me please I really need it

anything that makes you actually run on the track rather than trolling this channel with stupid questions. and please just leave without replying - leave!
Is there a difference in speed when you run with spikes? What will be difference in the 300 meter with a normal running shoes (pegasus for example) and a shoe with spikes?
@chrisvarelabenitez4690

Few second differential
@LuisFernando-yd3mx
Жыл бұрын
Big difference. The spikes are lighter and give better grip and push. Spikes are for sprinting, regular running shoes are for long distance speeds.

Anyone else noticing that he only breaths through the nose when running?
@Surreal_Bread
Жыл бұрын
18:10 that's not true, you can hear him breathing through mouth, but he does breathe through nose some times, that's because the session he's doing is probably not affecting his cardio and it's just lactate training so his breathing is less important. Also he is just rellay relaxed so he isn't at his limit hense why he doesn't breath as deeply

Note that any reps under 600m are easier at altitude
@23maurom
Жыл бұрын
Note that speed work at altitude is more difficult and this commenter ^ is clueless….. pros travel down to sea level or much lower altitude for speed work for this exact reason.
@terraflow__bryanburdo4547

@@23maurom note that the above commentator does not know the difference between speed work and VO2 max sessions. All sprint events are illegal for records above 5000' because of the advantage of thinner air.
@fidru
Жыл бұрын
@@terraflow__bryanburdo4547 I was gonna write the same but hoped you ment it the way you are now explaining. but your first comment was asking for getting misunderstood. btw did twohundrets recently at altitude in the Austrian Alpes. the track was @ only 2600 ft and I already felt it (especially in the recovery time).
@terraflow__bryanburdo4547
Жыл бұрын
@@fidru yeah...the actual reps are easier but the recovery is longer, hence Smith gave him 4/10 recovery instead of 3/8 which is typical for a speed session. Now eliminate the set rest and make all recovery 1.5-2 min and you have a VO2max session, which you have to run a lot slower at 7000 compared to sea level.
