You should put some lights on when repairing the breeze. Hard to see what you are doing by flash light...

@cumminsbayou yep there's usually a tube on the side of the motor that runs to the cam sometimes its inside as well.

@cumminsbayou ya it's the oil pump and its not coming right out f the valves it comes out below them

i got a question how do you remove the battery from the breeze i got a 89 breeze red and black just like urs got it running but it needs a new starter and battery and me and my step dad looked all over trying to find out how to take it out

ok i did i tiednd it a bit and still nothing i dont have a valve checker see to if its right but it still wont start i need help

i have a yamaha breeze 125 starts perfect everything but wen i put it in forward and begin to drive a rattling noise starts it gets louder the faster you go . it does not rattle in reverse or neutral any ideas of what to do or whats wrong ?

if your not holding the break while shifting into forward it does that sometimes

rc1813 i have one too but it starts up and runs perfect but in both gears you try to go it goes but a REALLY lound knocking in the transmission starts to happen it doesent do it when its idling it moves its just really loud!!! please help its the transmission

RCmen26 did you ever figure out what it was? my sons is doing the same thing. He broke the chain on its few days ago, so I put a new chain on it today. now when he goes in forward or reverse, it has a loud rattling/ grinding sound. hoping the output shaft the front sprocket goes on isnt damaged.

I came here in search of the same thing because mine is slapping like crazy. was bout to say it sounds baaaad. lol lots of tinking noises from that top end.

Hey guys any advice on what that sound is if I adjusted the valves to spec? My daughters sounds just like in this video even after adjusting so I’m wondering if it’s piston slap or timing chain is stretched
