The best tutorial video I’ve ever seen. Not too much unnecessary commentary, very explained with what you are doing, and good video angles for all of it. If only every tutorial video could be this good.

excellent video, i have learn alot the only challange is the cab of the carburator having extra lentgh that cable will be pulling the slider little up, the solution is to put the OEM cap on and problem will be solved

Good video, can't be a shade tree mechanic without a shade tree kid and a dinosaur.

ive tried getting a new carb, with patience you could get a brand new one, but id suggest just replacing the jets on the old one so you dont have to retune it

Very helpful thank you, I'm having trouble getting the timing sprocket off. It keeps spinning. Do I need an impact wrench? I'm new at turning wrenches, but I'm gonna get this done.

It doesn't connect to any thing goes straight back the purpose of the tube is to prevent dirt from going into the carb so it needs to be lower than where it connects to the carb

Hi! If I clean the airfilter and take the fuel away it will start again. The fuel seems to flow through the carb if I do not turn off the tap. Yamaha Breeze, 4-stroke?

On the idle mixture screw. Do you turn it to the left all the way till it stops and then do one and a half turns open?

Yes till it just stops then back out 1.5 turns out then start the engine let warm up and fine tune it

I’m trying to figure that out too. Have my carb disassembled right now and cleaned it but mine looks cut off idk if it was supposed to be somewhere

Thanks for the vid it was very helpful. Question for you, the petcock was leaking on the breeze I picked up for my daughter so I took the one off an extra tank I had and put it on. Well its a little different I think as it has two tubes coming off it, so I hooked the fuel end to the right location on the carb and the line you said is a breather and doesn't go anywhere I hooked up to the other port on the petcock. Is this correct or do I have to buy a petcock with a single outlet on it for this quad? I pulled the quad out today to try to get it going for this season for her but can't get the thing running now...not sure if the way I set the petcock/carb lines up has something to do with it. Thank you

If the petcock has a diaphragm it needs a vacuum the bigger hose is a very text me pics 6033958097 I can tell

Do you have an ID on that after-market carb you installed? I keep looking at replacement carbs on Amazon and buyers keep saying after they install the replacement carbs the throttle cable is to short to permit slow-down of the idle speed.

I brought a aftermarket replacement carb not the generic carb that fits multiple Yamaha breeze 125 has a flange style Yamaha breeze and Yamaha grizzly 125 are the same 4wheeler

Kevin I replace the carb with a new one and have 2 issue: 1. Have issue starting with it start without help (starting fluid) 2. but once it starts it's idle high like the throttle stuck and I've made adjustment on the idle control screw and it still idle high. What could be the issue. Yamaha 125 breeze

I set mine to where I can put it into gear if the idle is to high it won't go into gear

@@2strokeguru ok thank you! I gotta get a carb and now it is not starting I think either the valve rocker arm broke or is so loose the valve isn't opening. Besides these 2 problems it's a well taken care of Breeze! They guy who owned it before didn't know you had to adjust the valves every 6 months so it was ticking and we were going to adjust the valves but u just bought it and son wanted to ride on his last week of vacation and now we are here lol.

Did you put a hitch on yours or does it come with it?

Love your video! I have the same Yamaha breeze and just got the same carb on ebay. Put everything on yesterday and i still cant get her to start. Plug is new, carb is new, air filter is fairly decent, petcock is new. Is there a fuse that could making it not start? It tries to turn over but no luck

All 2stroke engine spit fuel back out but if it is leaking after it was parked that's different

Who manufactured your new carb? Who did you buy it from i.e. dealer name? Did you buy it online? How can I get this same exact type of carb?

I don't remember the seller I honestly buy 100s of cards for all over i remember it's a cheap Chinese carb from Ebay.com and I don't remember when I did this video but from then till now I am very happy with it the breeze still runs as good as it did when I installed it and the Yamaha grizzly 125 is the sister bike to the Yamaha breeze

Did that breeze start cold without the air box?

I kinda figured they wasn't oem so I was curious what you replaced them with

When I did this the bike seemed to rev WAY to high at idle, I checked i had the sleeve aligned right in the carb, and throttle was loosened as well as adjustment on carb. But its as if the throttle cable is too short? Its so weird. Any advice ?

There's a cable adjust at the throttle assembly on the handle bars and most throttle cables have a slack adapter on the cable it self
