Hey Guys, Migs Here! In today’s video, I am taking apart the Yamaha quad’s engine, a Yamaha Breeze 125, because it blew up all of a sudden! We were not expecting this to happen all of a sudden, but things happen, and time to rebuild it to make it even better! Thanks for Watching! I just picked up a 1990 moto4 Champ 100cc (a step dwn from the breeze) It needed alot of attention. Broken snap rings on the transmission, clogged oil strainer & as if that wouldn't stop it dead, a peace of the threads where the spark plug screws in broke & fell into the combustion chamber. Cleaned it all up without replacing a thing except the snap rings & whadda you know- It works!!! Don't know for how long but it works.. My first ever complete engine tear down..🤪🤔. Couldn't have did it without you Mann.. keep em comin....

Tip from Ike at Cars and Cameras. If I Philips head strips out, take a saw, and cut a deep groove in the middle of the head so it turns into a flat head

it jumped timing by at least one or more teeth, you need a new timing chain and i would replace the entire head with a good used one and just relap the valves in the new head because honestly its cheaper, also check the chain guides because if they'er grooved it will allow the chain the remain loose even with the tentioner. the base gasket is blown beacuse when it jumped timing it pressurized the crankcase, so you will need a new one of those as well. i should add that im a 30yr seasoned tech. hope this helps bud.

do valve seals also cause the bent valve couldve stretched it and im sure it could use them. also be easy taking those rocker arms out after you set up the puller cause you can very easily damage the case or even press them in too far and they can get in the way of those long head/cylinder bolts when you try to put it back together

U can always get stripped Phillips or any other bolts by using a flat head or chisel and hit the head make a groove and then hit it on an angle to loosen it works most of the time the shock helps alot i also heat the bolts if they wont come out without stripping and impact screwdrivers help alot also

You may be able to find another good head on eBay for about the same cost as new valves. In my experience when a valve bends it's possible the valve seat could be damaged as well as the valve gid, so I would suggest finding a good head.

that bike cant over rev because yamaha has a limiter built right in to cdi box, people need to know what they are talking about before they just start shooting off at the keyboard, valve float only occurs when you have either a weak valve spring or have somehow modified the bike to bypass the limiter, which i highly doubt has been done to that bike, and this is yamaha not china junk.
