@Interceptor try googling. F101 scorpion can drive 130kmph and most of modern mbts (abrams,leopard,leclerc e t c) are faster. Probably fastest ww2 era tank, except theres way more faster wheeled tanks like puma

youngwahoo T-34's has either 76 or 57mm cannons with the same turret so there's no reason to display the seperatly. The T-34-85 has a larger turretring and turret hence why it is a seperate tank here.

Standard T-34-85 has a SIS-S-53, the early version's had a 85mm D-5T like the KV-85 and IS-1. The reason was that they didn't have enough SIS-S-53s at the beginning, so the first T-34-85s were equipped with the D-5T.

Daris Alfafa Yet he added the T-24 and T-44, both tanks never saw combat so it doesn't count. And if this was real life the person wouldn't use Wikipedia as clearly every tank during WW2 had a huge flaw each of their own characteristics. Any Soviet built tanks usually suffer from something. The KV series has engine problems which at times the engine can literally burn up due to lack of ventilation and the KV-2 turret can only move in flat terrain. Another issue is that they are too expensive especially of that poor quality. The famous T-34 has inconsistent armor making it paper thin or too thick and cramped, the hull of a T-34 has a tendency to crack open due to poor welding. My favorite is that it lacks insulation making it very cold. I mean it was cold enough to bond your skin with the tank

Actually KV-2 was supposed to fight pillboxes and bunkers on Mannerheim line, so Soviets built only 49 of them, hence this scenario is very unlikely.

Error Corrections: 1. ‘T-34-76’ Is the the tank with the 76mm F-34, T-34-L-11 or T-34 mod. 1940 ( which was the tank in this video ) should then have a F-34 cannon instead of the L-11 it appears to haven order for it to become a T-34-76. 2. The IS-1 or just IS does not have a 122mm cannon, it has either a 85mm D-5t or 100mm D-10 cannon. 3. You appear to have mixed up the SU-85 and the SU-100 in terms of when they where last used. The SU-100 was used in Syria in 1970 while the SU-85 exited service when the war ended. 4. T-44 Was never even designed in 1940, the T-34 was still entering service at such a time. 5. The T-50 did not enter service with the Russian army, 60 where produced but where only used in Finnish hands, beacause for some reason they got it. (Idk how). 6. The T-40 left service in 1943 when the T-70 replaces its predecessor the T-60. It last fought in Kursk. Other than that, a great video!

The jaegerplatoon.net website has the answer regarding the T-50. A single example (affectionately known by the Finns as the 'little T-34') was captured in 1941 near Petrozavodsk and used until the summer of 1944, mostly as a command tank with applique armor, until the engine failed. The tank was recovered and kept on the books until 1955(!) and now resides in the Parola Tank Museum in Finland.

T-80 is missing from Light tanks, KV-1S is missing, SU-100Y is missing (even though 2 was only made, but both was in use at the battle of Moscow. How is so many tanks missing from this video??

Beautifully done; I love educational videos like this. I actually prefer the drawn armored fighting vehicles over photos; it is easier to compare sizes and demonstrate proportions. Just a note for future videos like this: if you're going to use armored fighting vehicles as a subject, you might want to include the dimensions of armor on front, side, rear and under the tank, as it was historically valuable information. Oh, and if historical information is unknown, simply state, "unknown", instead of "no idea." Please do other countries as well- it is a great gaming aide for playing wargames. Thank you for all your efforts.

Есть вопросы по танкам: 1. Почему у танка ИС-1 нет 85 м орудия. Ибо в первых сериях он шел именно с ней. 2. Почему нет САУ СУ-122П? Она тоже была построена и принимала участие в войне. 3. Почему нет ИСУ-152? Вместо её основного орудия - БЛ-10, которое вообще было экспериментальным и на войне не участвовала. 4. Почему нет СУ-152 на базе танка КВ-1С?

t44 was in service 1944 not 1940. and hard to say the t44 fight real in ww2.. t44 in service1944 - 1960s and The first tanks arrived there (eastern front) before the end of the war and were used operationally during the last three days of fighting is3 first was used in the berlin parade. and if they was used again japan to the end of ww2 is not proofed.

I am Georgian. As you may know, Georgia is a former soviet country. So, it might come to no surprise that there is a random 70 Year old SU-100 Tank sitting in the entrance of a local graveyard. Despite it being really old, it is still in quite a good shape. Though, of course it doesn't have ammunition or engine. If I was rich, I would repair it and put it in a museum or something. Don't forget that there's like, only 1000 of them left in the whole world, if not less. It looks ridiculously cool and intimidating, with it's barrel spanning across nearly three meters. I have a lot of pictures taken near it. Also, note that T34-85 Is not that slow. It's maximum speed can easily exceed 50Km/h. It is also probably the most iconic tank in the world.

T-44 was developed in, well, 1944, but it didn't see combat during WW2. It was decided that switching production to T-44 from T-34-85 was too risky, because major strike operations were underway, so T-44 production only really kicked off after WW2 ended.

if you want to get real technical about the KV-2, it first started in 1939 (i forget when) with the tallest, heaviest turret, the 1940 kv-2 featured a better turret that was the same but smaller and lighter. The KV-2 was also discontinued in mid 40's because there was no need for bunker busters anymore, its design also went back to 1938, it's service life wasn't too long as with any other Soviet tank with the exception of the t-34 which is still used today among the poorer countries

The T-27 was in service until 1941? I can't think of an armored vehicle that'd fill me with less confidence than that. Great for farming, terrible for combat.

Fun fact- the IS series of tank started with russia, but the IS-2 introduced chinese angled armor, then the russians continued using angled armor until eventually coming up with signature IS pike-nose armor

It would have been cool if the SMK series were featured, they were key tanks in soviet tank evolution.

Очень много ошибок, между ИСом 1 и 2 разница не только в отсутствие полки, но и в орудии и башне, нету су 152, ИС 3 не участвовал в боях, а только в параде, с таким же успехом можно было и ИС 4 и ИС 7 добавить в список, у немцев же Маус показал. И это я еще молчу про всякие смежные модели.И размеры ИСу 122 и ИСу 152 идентичны.

Everybody makes fun of the KV2 , but when used in its intended role , it worked fine . It was a stop gap tank , only built to knock out bunkers , and other fortifications . Never meant to be used tank to tank . Bunkers are not going anywhere , so its slow reload , speed , and high profile , didnt really matter . If I was in a bunker , and saw a huge 152mm gun making its way up , I think it would be a good time for me to leave ! lol . Let me put it to you this way , 152mm guns , can be found on warships of cruiser size . A bunker would be having a bad day .
