Crazy WW1 & WW2 Armored Cars Size Comparison 3D

Ғылым және технология

Tesla Knight Rider Armored Car has arrived 😂
A military armored (or armoured) car is a lightweight wheeled armored fighting vehicle, historically employed for reconnaissance, internal security, armed escort, and other subordinate battlefield tasks. With the gradual decline of mounted cavalry, armored cars were developed for carrying out duties formerly assigned to light cavalry. Following the invention of the tank, the armored car remained popular due to its faster speed, comparatively simplified maintenance and low production cost.

If you watched Lindybeige, he covers an exhibition on the tank museum about 21 proto tanks. The main attraction there is armored vehicles designed by German Ritter (In english they're called knights or mercenary knights) Ludwig von Eyb. He loves to add spikes Everywhere in his armored vehicles design lol.

Even weirder... the BA-11 was a rare, upgraded version of the BA-10, which looked almost identical. Very few (like 17) were built due to the German invasion. Over 3300 BA-10 were built , so choosing the BA-11 was... a slightly odd choice.

And the turret was from a Pz I (2 machineguns) rather than a Pz II (20mm autocannon). It couldn't steer, it sank into the ground, its links couldn't be replaced in the field, and it had an off-road speed of less than 3 mph. Other than that, it was a brilliant vehicle.

In this video was missing polish armored cars. Apart from "Kubuś" Poland had mass-produced armored car - "Ford FT-B", "wz. 28", "wz.29", and "wz.34". Additionally Poland had several other improvised armored cars. It is especially worth mentioning "Tank Piłsudzkiego", which was an improvised car used to defend Lwów during the Polish-Ukrainian war, and "Korfanty", who been used in Silesian Uprising.

Man that British armoured car from 1899 looks way ahead of its time put a roof on there and you’ve got a car with curves that would bounce anything

Just found your channel and yoir vids are awesome, but I'm curious as to where you get your numbers. I can't find anything that says the Minenraumer (VsKfz 617) was produced beyond a single prototype.

No sdkfz 231(6rad)? BA-3? Sdkfz 222? Sdkfz 234/2 Puma? Staghound? Daimler? Panhard? Autoblindo Fiat-Ansaldo? This video is missing so many of the more important armored cars of WW2.

I would have liked to see the USA M2, M3 and M3A1 series of Scout Cars. I'm currently restoring a 1942 White M3A1 SC. Also missed not seeing the British Daimler series and Chevrolet Staghounds used by Canada and and GB.

So, anyone think this is where the metal slug armies got their ideas from? Ol Morden seems to love old era vehicles and somehow the regular army has outdated surplus and it sill hits like a fresh out of the assembly line.
