@@Saskatchetooner WTF? lol Just a true observation! Although - eye of the beholder and all that. UK version has always put their best foot forward when it comes to female presenters of WSM. Phillipa Forrester started it. Probably our peak to be honest...

He removed the 3rd cardio event in 2017 and replaced it with a 4th static - never been done in history of WSM except for weather or equipment failure - neither of which was applicable. He took out Thors banker, and gave his friend and business partner Eddie Hall a 2nd banker. AND HE STILL only "won" by 0.5 points. Disgraceful. The pair of them.

Was it me - or did they stop the clock 0.25 seconds before the bus crossed and the horn sounded for Eddies pull? Colin & Eddie - sitting in a tree!

The opening theme is the one make me feel strong.

You gotta give it to Eddie, he realy put lots of effort for his title. At 13:30 he talks about not being only a static monster, I hope his 12 years old fans listen to him, Eddie is great and was probabily the strongest statically but to think that his acomplishments and strongman is (or should be) only about static events is bullshit.

Yet he cheated to "win" 2017. His business partner and friend, Colin Bryce, changed events in the finals to suit Eddie and to hamper his main rival Thor. That is the ONLY reason Eddie "won" - and even with that help, that illegal, match fixing help, he still only came top by 0.5 points. Whatever talent and hard work - and sure there was both - all of it is down the shitter because at the end of the day - he CHEATED. That's all there is to it. A great competitor, but he never won a WSM. His best finishes were 2nd and 3rd. It's nothing to be ashamed of. But Eddie's personality doesn't work that way.

Hall and Burke were very close in strength competition this year.

It was a very competitive group

I can't help but laugh at 25:04.... but great guy Belsjak, love his energy.

This was the Eddie Hall show...I'm thoroughly disgusted, fucking saturated with him, it was, I've been a StrongMan fan for a long time and have learned to deal with the enormous push the British competitors receive, but this is ridiculous, Mike Burke talked about leaving PSA and it could have been a bit of tribute to his contribution and achievement, but not to be! I'll forever love this business, but sometimes I just don't understand it

Plenty other times they've focused on Terry Hollands or Mark Felix if they're competing. It is the UK version. Maybe they did in the American version but I doubt it, they skip over some events altogether & focus more on stats or something, & it is unwatchable.

Yeah they were promoting Eddie knowing that they will be doing everything in their power - as we now know - to make him "win" a WSM. Even if that means changing events on the final day to remove a 3rd cardio event - a banker for Thor - and replace it with a 4th static instead - giving Eddie a 2nd banker. Disgusting. Thor was robbed. The fans were robbed. By Bryce and Hall.

hes a relatively small man (honestly a ridiculous thing to say but ive met him recently and hes not huge like Tom stoltman is) so he has to carry more fat and muscle to be the same weight as others and where he needed to be for peak strength and his endurance suffers ,he cant compromise and come in fitter like a huge thor at the same weight

I really love and respect Eddie Hall, but he is not 6'3". He is probably just short of 6'2".

laurence shahlei is a legit 6'2 and ive never seen eddie look taller than Loz from any angle or camera shot

totally annoyed by british commentators .... try to relax mate when they let out screams of joy cause they accomplished something ... its as if the commentators never wanted something and were happy they got it ... >x

danny wallace is known for his sarcastic quips and its perfect for our english sense of humour ...he dosent play it over the top like a classic earnest american sports commentator
