I love that without fail, those hammers landed on the padding, bounced, pulled the padding away, and then slammed onto the concrete. They might've considered weighing them down lol

11:46 this is really a very amazing WSM sequence. It shows better than any other event how powerful Bjornsson was compared to the other competitors. And how much energy he just put into this event. No one else could do it. Savickas could probably but he didnt need to.

The 2021 WSM got a huge upgrade though.

3 reps at best for Thigpen on the squat. 2 missed depth and 1 was incomplete. 🤣

Something I don't really see the fairness in, in the squat Thor was wearing a suit and wraps, Hicks and Thigpen were wearing just wraps and the others were only wearing sleeves, how is that level playing ground for squatting. Are they all offered to wear suit and wraps and some of them turned it down?

emp100k you get to choose what you compete in/with. It's the same with some competitors wearing gloves or rock climbing shoes and others wearing no gloves and regular shoes.
