Why there's something 'there'd to be hard core, we may be the derivatives through the modulations in order to respond to their curoisty, experimentation, grandiosity, amusement, and so forth.. If there are intelligent aliens, there's always the possibility that they show up and are already members of something very much like one of the existing religions on Earth. Sure, even if that happened there are bound to be differences, but I don't see much speculative writing on this particular angle and I find the concept fascinating.

Robert's work is good, however he is a consultant to the Chinese communist party in many areas, I have no idea what he does, but look it up, I'm not kidding. Just weird. He tools around in a BMW talking all these neat philosophical concepts across the globe, but I wonder where he made his living, or what family he is from. Just saying. Not being a conspiracy theorist or anything. I was surprised. I dig his work, but I keep an open view on many aspects of various social media folks.

Alien beings from another universe have been trying to give us messages for years nuclear they are scared for us

This reminds me of a time I was talking to a few friends and they were talking about a topic in agreement. Agreed about everything mentioned about it. Then the name of the person who initially talked about said topic was mentioned. 1 of these friends didnt like this person and suddenly everything was BS and agreement was gone. Its funny how people can agree on something until the name of someone they dont like is part of it. WHAT IF... "ALIENS" are our Gods? DO you lose faith or deny the possible source of where it began? In the end who knows. Nobody I know has ever talked to a alien or God. Lets face it, prayers is not the same as having a conversation and doesnt count as talking to God. I have seen some miracles and I do have faith, but not sure in what. I have faith in what I experienced, but not in what another man/woman tells me I should believe. What would people think about us and our technology 500 years in the past? What about 1000's of years in the past? We dont even build starships that can travel the stars yet, and we might have been considered godly in their eyes, and possibly considered a God. Also we cant ignore how many times scriptures have been translated and published. Errors and/or deceit also have a high probability. Has anyone ever wondered why there are scriptures locked away and have never been printed for anyone to read? Why is "GOD WORDS TO MANKIND" locked away for nobody to read? Could it say something that scares the church of losing their power? Jesus fought the church for using their power to exploit their position, and he was crucified for it. But hey, they say Jesus' death restored mankinds relationship with God.

Ur right did u know the Catholic Church edited the bible and removed parts of it because it didn’t fit their mono world view I’m talking about the book of Enoch etc that ac give weight to the whole “aliens were our gods” theory if u look at it from that perspective it all makes sense it’s just that ppl of that age had nothing to compare what they were seeing they didn’t our vocab and didn’t have the technology we have. They couldn’t say oh there’s a spaceship with aliens on it they’d say something like a wheel of fire appeared in the sky and the sky god decended now does that make sense? Is it really that crazy to say that? (The wheel of fire I spoke about was referring to ezekiel)

The Egyptians believed in this that souls throughout the universe are reincarnated onto different planets. Scientists are starting to believe in reincarnation cuz there’s many stories from ppl out there of past lives but there’s also ppl who remember being on different planets whether we should believe them or not idk

Yes, but only a moron is a fundamentalist Christian. I grew up Catholic, and I never learned the Earth was actually made in a week, or that the Earth is only 6000 years old. I learned that evolution is real, that the big bang is real. The stories in the old testament are just that, stories, that were *inspired* by God by a primitive people in the desert to understand the world around them. What's amazing is how they could conceptualize the world around them, and that this tribe of people are still around today unlike all the others around them, and that unlike all the others they are the only monotheistic ones.

The people of the time weren’t capable of understanding science as we know it today, so thus, God had to explain things to them in a simple, more metaphorical way.

This episode was such a comic relief for me in a good way. This is the first time that I can't take Closer To Truth seriously.

Surely everything depends on what the aliens we meet have got to say for themselves. Say for instance If they know much better our universe's history, and if so a God/s creation theory to the universe as well.

If cultures on different continents had each own their "God" or "deities" why different space races cant have a similar idea of God ? The problem is that the episodes always pitch against dogmatic religion against "atheist science" ... Forgetting all the ocean that there is in the middle. Btw listening a NASA "historian" that talk about a "center of the universe" is frightening .

You made a big mistake there. Those cultures are all human cultures. Human beings came up with the idea of a god. We don't know if aliens can come up with a god. There are many arguments for both sides but at the end of the day even us humans are becoming more atheistic and agnostic. If aliens do believe in a god, the chancea are that, just like us, they will become more agnostic or atheistic.

@@thesavantart8480 It's fun but despite materialism, communism, scientism, spirtual/religious people will increase in the next century (due to China). the peak of atheism was in the end of 60s early 70s but always quite low . I do agree with you on the fact that more or less the majority of the population is in reality agnostic BUT the overwhelming majority will always have an idea of spirituality, always .

A quick google search will easily show atheism has increased significantly over time.And the more educated people get,the less people will believe in a god.If history is any sign of whats to come,I suspect the people of the future will look back on Christians(and all other religions) and laugh,similar in the way we laugh at the Greeks for worshipping Zues. Though humanity has the insatiable urge to worship SOMETHING...wether it be a sun god, or love god,or rain god.... i find it all amusing. But there it is.

@@Boogieplex that's why i wrote spiritual/religious... Religions will grow in the next future due to fertility rates. That is in all polls. Then i think that religions will fall to be substituted by spirituality. In USA they put all together in the "nones" but is dumb. the atheist/materialist population will always be a fraction of spiritualist/religious. It's more or less the same percentage of 1916 (of course number grow since populations grows). looking at the whole problem as a "i am a science fanboy !! So i am smart !! you believe in the ark !!" is dumb. The existential questions are deeper.

I recently had a spirit attachment, someone was suddenly murdered in a house I bought. I went thru a religious person to try and make this spirt or consciousness ascend. We held hands and prayed at the location where this happened , well that didn’t work. I then got a more religious person and after more rituals that didn’t work. Night after night I felt my mattress kneeling around me and waves of a magnetic like force weaving in and out of me wherever I was. I tried reke that didn’t work , then I got a connected person who instructed me to understand consciousness and spiritual awareness and making this attachment ascend. After many weeks of watching many videos on you tube and practicing ascension techniques with spirit attachment , I was successful in getting this persons consciousness to ascend. This led me to another path to understand where this consciousness ascends too, with near death experiences, the paranormal world, reincarnation,remote viewing, channeling alien beings are all examples of a real existence that is present . I am determined to understand how religion and a higher level of consciousness are interconnected.I would like to know how someone like Dr. Steven Greer sees this subject he is someone is very knowledgeable and, credible . That you for video which helps me get to be a more open minded person.

I don't believe it will ever be the human experience, such that no question of life remains unanswered.

It's the reason why humanity has not changed outside of technological evolution. But why try to steer mankind?... They are on their own, even if Earth is their grave. Everyone has a place... Only very few are willing to change the course of Fate... While others shall meet the Reaper... I fault no one in the end... Another planet or another species can always try again... Alien or human intelligence of any kind can be useful and GOOD as long as it used for constructive things, but on the opposite end, the evil force is not constructive but rather destructive and therefore wouldn’t serve any purpose.

It's interesting how humans think they where created in God's image when their very design is but a limited function for time. Both the atom and the DNA is the core of human existence. Everything else is merely a byproduct of sentient comprehension and desire. Kin to the animal kingdom and the grand cosmos. Can a God(s) truly exist?... Yes... But not one exclusively spoken by mankind. But the loss of knowledge limits the comprehension of mortals. For even the thirteen core dimensions uphold the ancient cosmos from before the primordial era of existence. Divinity is simply a new form of power, but it is not exempt. But to speak bluntly... @@psyseraphim I agree. I don't know where you live, but in most European countries (openly ) Nazism and Fascist rhetoric are against the law. As are showing swastikas and such in public. A see a lot of people claiming every opinion is equal, and even nazi's should have the freedom of speech. etc. I don't think so. Especially now the generation that witnessed the holocaust nad Nazi occupation dies out, it's even more important not to forget what they did, and will do again if they regain power. I grew up hearing personal anecdotes from family members , but the younger ones don't have that anymore .So Nazi free speech ? Ha..Fuck em.!

If we discovered intelligent life elsewhere, or more if intelligent life elsewhere came to visit, it would be very difficult not to be overwhelmed. Just by the act of visiting us they would have an understanding of science that we are nowhere near of achieving, let alone comprehend. The sheer weight of that realisation would shake religion at its core, because what would be a reasonable foundation for claiming that although we don't have their intelligence, we have a superior or at least equal spirituality?

On the topic of salvation: this documentary posed two questions while ignoring a very obvious third: Who's to say that ETs would NEED salvation in the first place? This segment keeps focusing on the idea that either ETs do not get salvation or that ETs get salvation through the same sacrifice of Jesus OR another divine being that embodies the same spirit Christ embodied. But this is assuming these ETs need saving at all.

This is a number as close to zero as anyone has ever imagined. (The probability is much, much smaller than that of winning the Mega Millions jackpot for more days than the universe has been in existence.)

Although I subscribe to the theory of macro evolution I also understand the magnitude and the mathematical odds of complex life to evolve. The probability of proteins to selectively evolve at a random time into a system to be useful is like 10 to the 30th power. Yes its a numbers game with the universe. Given a “trillion” chances sure sooner or later intelligent life will evolve. But given that, how many evolved but then got wiped out by natural disasters or nuclear war and those that even made it to intelligent life even greater than us but never quite made it far enough to make contact before their sun died out and countless others. I believe intelligent life is extremely hard to evolve. Our earth is 4.6 billions yrs and yet we are here at this point. I believe there is countless simple life on other planets and some intelligent life but very far and few in between in out vast universe. We are special. Lets appreciate our life and each other.

it was mentioned in the video that it was not such a problem for some other religions. it seems to be a problem mainly for those that have a son of god type person, that is here to save humanity.

It's so strange for me to hear people trying to reconcile the existence of two things, both of which we know nothing about or whether they even exist at all. We're specks of dust on another spec of dust in a potentially infinite universe.

Difficult to say. I remember a talk with the author Terry Pratchett (known for the Discworld series) where he asked the question about which was more special: a sun or a lamp post - the humourous answer is that lamp posts are more special because as far as we know these only exist on earth. From that angle perhaps they would be fascinated by the amount of time we spent creating and discussing the scriptures considering all the other things we could have spent our time on.

I really hope the universe is teeming with life, especially intelligent sentient beings. I really hope that is a fact. If the abiogenesis of life on earth turns out to be some kind of cosmic accident, when life was never supposed to exist, so to speak, we humans must change our ways and protect this spectacular diamond of a life harboring planet, in what appears to be an otherwise infinite lifeless universe. As for SETI it hasn't produced any evidence for its belief system, yet the SETI lady and man had the best answers for the program's question. That kind of surprised me. When talking about the influence of Aristotle on the Medieval Roman Church if one looks deep into the Galileo incident his biggest detractors were the scholars from The Academy who were heavily influenced by Aristotle and not the Pope. Something usually not mentioned was that Galileo was an insulting fellow and wrote scathing satire about The Academy giving the Pope his friend and defender little choice from the uproar from the scholars, so he muzzled Galileo. It's much shortened, but it is what it was. The bottom line is that Aristotle's teachings didn't match with the Bible's teachings at quite a few points.

Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Baha’i Faith said that the universe is teeming with life, so the answer of that religion is that the existence of extraterrestrial life forms does not undermine a belief in a Creator.. By the way, Baha’u’llah said this approximately 150 years ago.

@@kpllc4209 Bruno was certainly far ahead of his time, and IMHO he was correct in his position. I wasn’t suggesting that Baha’u’llah was the first person to say that aliens exist. My point was that Baha’u’llah is the first founder of a major world religion to make such a statement. As you know, in our lifetime, it is only recently that you could suggest that the universe is full of life and not be considered a crackpot. I think the fact that many people can now admit the possibility of intelligent non-terrestrial life forms is a glimmer of human progress. It’s also interesting that the US military/government has publicly released videos of the so-called tic-tac UFO. That’s a reversal of decades of denial. Maybe some interesting revelations will be forthcoming in the not-too-distant future...but I’m not holding my breath...lol

@@akirahikari6548 I have always kept my speculations about their existence (and more importantly their visitations) to probable but I do not have enough facts. Yes the revelations being made have renewed my interest in the subject and a documentary called The Phenomena really peaked my interest. Even before that I watched a interesting video discussing how Rabbis have debated the subject for many hundreds of years maybe as far back as Bruno, I don't remember exactly. Some said no, others said yes. Some say yes but they have no free will, like angels. Which is what you would assume theologically they would be. Interestingly they would have no free will if they were a race that had merged with "God". Some even argued if a story in the bible was about a tribe that help Israel was in fact extra terrestrials. To be honest as much as I would like to believe they are universal brothers, what they know could possibly shatter anything our feeble brains have come up with.

Robins view is in line with historical Christianity.

"Intelligent life" contradicts itself. If aliens exist, they'll be dissipatives like ourselves but dumber - for going into space.

Humans are large scale rRNA and they behave just like the little ones inside their own cells. Using information to build tools and structures does not make you intelligent. If it did, your unconscious cells would be most intelligent of all.

Following Rene Descartes meditation Category 1: Minds I exist and I am a mind. Therefore Minds exist. Category 2: Matter I have feelings. These feelings originate from sensors in what I call my body. The sensors are receptive to stimulation from events created from within my body and from events created from outside my body. The stuff that bring about these events I shall categories as matter. Thus my body is also made of matter. Therefore Matter exists. Category 3: Space My body needs space and matter in general needs space. Matter can exist only in space. Therefore space must exist. Category 4: Time My body needs time to change and matter in general needs time for change. Matter can change only in time. Therefore time must exist. From the above observation I conclude that these 4 categories permeate each other and exist equally with none more abstract or less abstract than another. Now to the question of the origin of these categories Could it be that any one or more of these categories can be made from any one or more of the remaining categories? Could these categories transform from one to another? Matter needs space and time for its existence, therefore without space and time matter will not exist as such matter could not have been the origin of space and time. From physics it has been observed that space and time can give rise to matter spontaneously. As such matter maybe a result of a localized change to space and time. So then could space and time be the origin of everything else? Again from the theory of the Big Bang all space, time and matter originated from this singular event. Therefore space and time could not alone have brought about the other categories. Since the big bang was an event, could it be that all things are made from events? Where there is space, time and matter there is always an event. There can be no space , time or matter without events. In an instant all of space and the matter is nothing more or nothing less than a set of events. So then space, time and matter is one and the same as a set of simultaneous events from one instant to the next. From this observation the 4 categories can be reduced to 2 categories Category 1 : Minds Category 2 : Events Now then can minds exist without events. We know that simultaneous events give rise to feeling in minds. We know from special relativity simultaneous events cannot give rise to anything physical or material. Therefore feelings cannot be physical or material. Now as feelings are a part of minds we must conclude minds are not physical. Now can the mind exist without feelings OR does feelings create the mind, that is one and the same as the mind? If feeling create the mind then as feelings are created by events then space, time and matter which we have concluded is the same as events, must also have feeling and thus be one and the same as a mind. Thus we would need to conclude a rock has a mind or is part of a mind to the same extent that my brain is a mind or is part of a mind. This conclusion is not palatable as such let’s consider the OTHER alternative Now if a mind can exist without feeling then we also know that the mind can create events. (e.g throw a rock, move a finger) So then given that the mind can create events then the big bang (The Event) could have originated from The Mind in order to evoke feelings in other minds. These other minds may have also been created by The Mind.

I love how they all think if we find aliens they going to be like, of yeah God we know him and we had a savior too. Like WTF? Like they seriously believe that if there is intelligent life out there they must have a Jesus because we did. None seem to be asking, what if we find intelligent life and they say what is this God you are talking about. Once intelligent life even looks at religion and read texts they are going to think we are completely ignorant.

I really doubt ET would condemn us for being stupid, anymore than we condemn dogs for not understanding taxes. ET would understand we are a work in progress.

If ETs came to earth would they find us so primitive that they couldn’t believe that we have religion? Much like we couldn’t conceive that the great apes have celebrations for their higher spirit.

There are many religions, I think Buddhism is as or more of an appropriate religion pertaining to this subject.We all by now know there are many species of alien life by now. Until humans on this planet reach a higher level of consciousness, we can only guess how this ties in to our existence .I think it is a got thing to have a faith to keep us on track to a better understanding.

E=MC2,because that formula its impossible any life intilegent travel to our planet,the time and energy to reach ear its so big that makes that event impossible...
