These guys always, always assume there is an immortal soul and then play with words and stretch meanings to have a gotcha moment about why there has to be a soul separate from a brain. It's exhausting and ridiculous. I challenge them to show me an example of consciousness apart from a biological being. AI may get there, but it will be an emergent phenomenon from software and transistors just like ours and animal consciousness is an emergent phenomenon from neurons and biological systems. There are absolutely no examples or evidence of a consciousness in and of itself.

Well what happened is as follows... A flower grew from Lord Vishnu's navel with Brahma sitting on it. Brahma separated the flower into three parts: heavens, earth and sky.

People wonder why we cannot see signs of alien civilizations. Perhaps they too succumb to a type of religion that ultimately *dooms them* like we have here on Earth, and this is why they don’t drop by and say “hello”.

"Soul" is an informal term for mind, personality or sense of self. It doesn't refer to a single, cohesive entity but rather a broad, diffuse process, like using the word "heart" to stand for emotions. One's identity is part of a network of relationships that involves all of biology , chemistry and ultimately all energy in the universe, it doesn't go anywhere after death because it is not confined to a single body in the first place. Just as the speed of a car cannot go forth once the car is disassembled, your soul disappears when your body disintegrates. People naturally want to live forever, but you are not even the same person you were in the first grade. That person is long gone, though you may have access to a few fleeting memories of him-- and it's pointless to ask where he is now. Basically, there is simply nothing to worry about, because you yourself are the eternal energy of the universe.

How about when you're a youngster and you don't have self-consciousness? Only in pubescence when adult hormones express does one develop self-consciousness to the full effect. So it's hormone derived; these extraordinary molecules of evolution run the machine called Consciousness.

Hi don't see how you can come too that conclusion. Consciousness is by product of evolution were souls are a man made construct.

The answer is there was no beginning. The human mind works in linear concepts and can’t comprehend something that doesn’t have a beginning. The fact is, the universe has always been here, we just can’t comprehend how. God has always been as has the universe, it’s all about energy, things moving, even at a sub atomic level and things coalescing. This universe was probably spawned from others. Time is the biggest obstacle when it comes to understanding the universe as we know it. Leave time out of it. Energy is the key, time is simply a tool. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night😊

The universe is in the galactic measurements and because of this I believe it is best to advance within the perimeter using a nuclear power engine with a built-in satellite and laser that can be sent to its destination and stop on target and open up and use its electric magnetic proportion system to direct it around in the facility to search for life. A human lifespan energy drive is only 60 years or more humanity would need to start building spaceships that can support generations of humans and other biological systems to overcome galactic years of deep space radiation rain and radiation clouds and storms and tornadoes because when raw radiation comes into contact with a spaceship it begins digesting things especially if it's forever out in deep space carrying warm bodies, but my point is without the right protection for the outside perimeter and the inside lining, everything inside would begin emanating radio waves and begin slowly disintegrating things under that much pressure. For better bubble protection. Paint made with magnetic dust and cement made with magnetic dust and wallpaper made with magnetic dust all clothing and furniture have to have a little magnetism to help maintain a constant geometry of flowing magnetism all around the inside and to help keep the radiation out and to protect the electrons inside our bodies.

If America was discovered multiple times (it was), this would be the same America. The name would be different, but the name isn't an inherent part of the continent(s). But if the cellphone was invented twice, these would be radically different. This is what differentiates discovery from invention. But for a technique to be useful in mathematics, there needs to be a proof that requires that technique. This means that this technique has to be discovered. I mean, it is not like this is hard problem... I find it really obvious.

The gentleman speaks as though he is stuck in a limited mindset regarding an origin from a singularity. As long as the big bang is your starting point your not looking at the whole picture and missing so much. All that education, research and time spent putting bandaids on a dead theory. Its time to wake up For those of you who want to see uncensored science facts, start by checking out Genesis Science Network.

There’s something wrong with the way we’re looking at and thinking about this. We’re missing something right in front of us. Imagine attempting to teach a dog Algebra. Dogs are likely closer to learning Algebra than we are to answering this question. We’re likely not even asking the right questions.

Why Do We Search for Intelligent Aliens...in the wrong place? Were an alien to carefully examine all life on Earth, only to be finally confronted by hairless apes, it might eventually concede that we are relatively, if not uniquely, intelligent. However, it wouldn’t take nearly as long to realise that the root of this talent was somehow associated with our brains. In light of this a sensible question to ask would be ― what’s distinctive about this organ, and why is it so difficult for other animals to possess equally clever ones? Well, although the singular human ability to pose and ponder such an imaginative inquiry might suggest it’s an obvious paradox ― arguably it isn’t intelligence, or even self-awareness and the extraordinary biological complexity required to sustain these qualities. Since, should you adopt the extreme reductionist view, or similarly accept the position recommended by advocates of the, ‘Unity of Science’, then the answer to both questions is not only the same but also far simpler ― ‘energy’. We should be searching space and time for evidence of this profligate energy consumption, and our own junk DNA for any evidence of a message 'extraterrestrials' may have been hidden in our own life code. Although it's highly likely we'd first have to edit out the genes that predispose for psychopathy to find it. Let's face it, any intelligent 'alien' certainly wouldn't want a bunch of Trumps or BiBis swarming around the cosmos.

Reality is - We don't know nothing !!! Science can postulate (to assume or claim as true, existent, or necessary) but we, and all science simply don't know for sure. Never mind the crazy idea of cooling gases eventually condensing and developing into organic, sentient beings.

"Concern yourself with things you can falsify and really know" This is a perfect example of twofold ignorance that is discussed in the 1st Alcibiades and Proclus commentary on the discourse between Socrates and Alcibiades. You think you know what things are in themselves - to what degree?

Science is a search for actual answers to this reality. While religion is an attempt to validate their own culturally driven view of reality. That they contain any crediblity is beyond ridiculous. Their expectations don't hold up to even a a basic level of investigation. Just wishful thinking pretending to have any foundation in facts.
