This is why I only follow a few select KZread fitness experts, and not the mainstream ones. Valid points.

Its good to still check out the other ones just to be exposed to alternate takes and not stay in an echo chamber. Even if it’s wrong, it’s cool to challenge yourself in assessing why it’s wrong with it? Even I catch myself saying “That’s incorrect form.” But then realize I don’t know WHY or what’s wrong with it.

You saved my benching routine by teaching me how to stack the joints and now you’ve saved my squats. Yes, I was trained to emphasize the heels. Crazy thing was I focused on using my whole feet throughout college only to listen to some bozo later. Thanks again, Jonni!

My two cents about deadlifts: they are for people who want to get good at deadlifts. Even if strength is your goal, you don't need to do deadlifts unless you're competing in a powerlifting or strongman competition. The risk to reward ratio is just not worth it. It's a pretty good fat burning exercise if you're doing high volume sets with lower weight, though. But the same is true for squats and it's a better exercise.
