I usually wait for this type of series come to an end , and just watch the entire project in a resumed version , but dang , the level of perfection you're pursuing in this project , is the reason I watched the entire vid . The parts that you're using simple tools and materials to achieve high geometric precision are super entertaining , keep up the great work !

Thanks mate. One thing that I really try to achieve with my videos is show that this can still be a low barrier for entry. There are a lot of channels that use CNC machining, pre-preg carbon fiber laminates, CAD / CAM, but what I like to show is that this work is entirely possible with some incredibly simple tools and the result you can achieve with enough time and patience can be on par with a lot of major tuning brands.

37:38 this legit looks like a teaser product on a website with a marketing blurb boasting "first we 3D scan the entire car, then we build the body kit in solidworks, and finally CNC the fender of a single piece of rigid foam." Reaching this level of precision and proportionality using hand tools and elbow grease is extremely impressive. I have some long-term (loooooong-term) plans to do something similar with an old Audi and I'll for sure be using your experience, techniques, and expertise as a guide!

Curious to see how the petrol flap works out? Will you add a bit so there isn’t a “hole” in the fender - would you add hinges to the top of the flap so that it clears the fender? Love the progress and really enjoying the build.
