(My english is terrible I hope my sentences are correct, I don't want to use a translator) You're the guy who convinced me to try to modify my (motorcycle) fairings. I'm watching you from... 2 years maybe ? And i've learned so many things... Thanks a lot for sharing your skills, your patience, your channel is one of my favourites ! Hi from France, Rolland

Your English is pretty good. The only thing to really improve is “I’m watching you from 2 years” which could be better written as “I’ve watched you for two years” or “I’ve been watching you for two years” Hope that helps

Either you are a professional or the best first timer I’ve ever seen
I need this video after a full tense of massive volume catering order with my wife. And plus, i got my courage to finish my custom built from scratch bigbike swing arm which is i am going to setup for my moped yamaha EZ115
Keeping the body filler industry in business, we love to see it 😂
Work might be slow but it’s amazing to watch. Keep it up!
Loving the series man! You're attention to the fine details is impressive, thanks for showing all the work you do
Dude. I hope to have 1/10th of your skill in some of my builds. And what you did for the door gap, mixing the resin with bondo to help with it not cracking over time and thin it so it runs down. Attaching a spacer to the other side so you have perfect gap. Well done dude. Well done.
I just wonder how much dust inside of this car. 😅 Perfect job as always. I love the watching your videos. Congrats. 👏
My dude! Great work. Proud to be a patron supporter of yours. Your work is impeccable. Always look forward to any content you share with us!

Cheers dude, I always appreciate it!
Expanding PU foam is both fabulous and evil stuff to work with from a part stability point of view - ~32m30s, talking about low spots. My friend and I made a 'winterised RV' from a panel van (Peugeot Boxer) and we filled the cavity voids to the bodywork with expanding foam. Where we trapped the foam and did not have many expansion/venting holes on the inside, the foam actually *deformed the exterior metal panels of the van* as it dried. We can only assume this was due to it solidifying at different rates inside the cavity - and thus the volume in the middle, wtill with 'expansion to go' simply had nowhere to go, and blistered the panel out. As the foam can take many days to fully cure, it's wise to take your time - even though it appears to cure really fast, it does continue to cure for quite a long time. I love your work, it's great to watch and learn from. Keep going!
Dude... your attention to, an level of detail are mindblowing, upmost respect for all your hard work

Such a cool build and channel. Seeing you build up an NC Miata would be awesome, but that's a pipe dream for LOL
Amazing work. I love your build process. Thanks for your content.
I found the project very interesting from the start. Seeing how the individual parts come into being, how they find solutions when problems arise and they just don't give up, which I certainly would have. In the end it will be really good, I'm pretty sure.
This guy is so good at what he does, that he can re use disposable gloves! I can't wait to see this car finished.
Your attention to detail is incredible man! Love seeing the progress that you're making! Keep up the awesome work!
Brother! I'm hyped to finish of my skyline now lol
Another episode already 😎A great way to start a Sunday morning 👍
Its crazy I'm like 30 seconds in, and seeing it stanced correctly, even with the stock rims on it, it looks so right.

Just effing brilliant. Love seeing your vlog pop up. Huge respect for your design skills and creativity, but most of your work ethic. I’ve done FRP in my youth…. It’s brutal tedious work….but you pull it off like a master. Cheers.

Amazing stuff, especially your attention to detail. You're a perfectionist and it shows in the high quality of your work!
I just wish you didn't cut so many corners 😂 - unreal content man, love that you stick to doing it your way and aren't breaking it up with, these guards are proving difficult, you know what's not difficult? BUILDING A WEBSITE WITH SQUARE SPACE. But, even if you did sell out so you could do this as a well paid career, we would still support. Good luck with everything.

Отличная работа!🤝👍
Expanding foam is exothermic, so with PLA printing at 215-225C, it may be introducing heat and causing warping. This also holds true for sanding, the friction of the sanding could be enough to soften the PLA.
@TofuAutoWorks
Ай бұрын
I watched it while the foam was curing and the heat didn't seem to have any effect on it, similarly, when sanding you need to keep the sander moving to avoid it heating up. I think the warping (shrinking in this case) was due to the contraction of the foam itself. I almost would have been better off without it.

Watching you nail those body lines and panel gaps is something else. Great work! Why do you de-tact the yellow tape on your shirt before using it?
@TofuAutoWorks
Ай бұрын
I'm actually folding the tape over on itself to turn it into a double sided tape with a soft edge.
i was waiting on this... clicked so fast 😅
I don’t know how well it would fit into your workflow, but I always coat my prints in thin superglue before sanding. I think it makes it a little easier, and quieter too. If I’m being extremely lazy I just sandblast them, but I can’t recommend that for everything lol.
@TofuAutoWorks

Sandblasting sounds really cool, I even have one buried deep in storage I might experiment with on some future parts. Thanks for the idea!
Как всегда, великолепно
Do you try the soft-sander sanding blocks? They come with different contours! You are making a excellent job!
@TofuAutoWorks
Ай бұрын
I have an assortment of my own soft sanders that I've made for specific jobs over the years. I personally prefer the harder ones since the soft ones aren't that great for making nice curves, I find they mostly tend to just conform with any imperfections and leave the finished surface still pretty wavy.
Looks awesome 🤩 do we know what the final colour is yet? My vote is a dark metallic green
the amount of sanding that this guy did, deserves a record guiness.... 3sec of the video and what he tells you're gonna see, sanding jajaja.... please, take a break jajaja
U r an artist , … cute artist ;)
This is going to turn oit so sick! Are you making molds from these and then the final piece in fiberglass like the other side?
すごい!! あなたを尊敬する!
I was thinking about 3d printed fenders and was wondering if we will ever be able to make our own fender stamps for thin sheet metal... I've seen some people have success with them as dimple dies, so I think the strength could be there... More of how to diy a giant press... Maybe a manual one with a giant spindle and wheel
@TofuAutoWorks
Ай бұрын
I've seen a couple guys now making custom dimple dies for logos and gussets so I think depending on how intricate the fender shape is it might be possible. Would probably be a lot of filament at nearly 100% infill and there would still be the issue of most 3D prints being a little fragile but still a pretty cool idea.
@Keasbeysknight
Ай бұрын
@@TofuAutoWorks yeah, maybe an epoxy resin to fill the voids. Im just thinking how fast it could be and how some people prefer metal over fiberglass. Or diy people getting replacement panels of stock looks. I bet we start seeing stuff in the next 5 years
Nice job! Are you thinking in sell some of your creations? Bc i have an nb miata and love the roof you did...
CC 😂 the only reason I even know what you sound like is because you were on a call with the boys at Street Bandidos on one of their episode .
