Back to work on the Chimera! In this video we make a pair of one-off front over fenders to join the Rx7 front up with the rest of the car.
These fenders are a much more aggressive design and hopefully with the rear end you can start to get a feel for the style I'm going for with this iteration of the build.

Thanks. That's sort of the direction I want to go, sort of like an ex-prototype race car that was repurposed as a dystopian wasteland courier vehicle.

Fun fact: "guards" are what Kiwis call fenders.
This is the kind of Sculpture car guys like us definitely appreciate and like. Hand built body kit. So cool to watch.

I love the little stabs of comedy here and there, they really add to the experience 😂
I love the shot at 45:01, it really showes how well your concept is working. I love the three steps the design is doing from fender edge, little flare edge and then to the turbo fan. Perfect proportions! I really love your work, can't wait to see more!

Shovel is the best demolition tool haha, I'd be more kiwi and work in jandals but the comments section gets weird when I have my toes out 😂

I always forget to use expandable foam when I’m making a new or missing part. Always go for the clay or chicken wire but from now on i swear lol awesome skill on display here brother. Can’t wait to see this finished.

those large chunks of foam are gold for shaping rock climbing holds, if you didn't throw them out you should try and find a gym that might be able to use or pass them along to someone in the community!

I know mate me too. This thing DESPERATELY needs some sideskirts and a little more going on in the rear to balance out the front now.

It's 2075 and flares are back in fashion!! However, I think you need to box out the rear arches to follow that JGTC theme through to the back. I always loved the look of the R30/R31 Skyline, a la Tomica-liveried car...
