The hardest thing about modifying your car is that after all that hard work is done, and you finally get that satisfaction when the result looks beautiful, you have to go do exactly the same thing on the other side.
"You're about to see the smartest thing I have ever done on this channel." 🤣

Finally learning from my mistakes haha.
I'm seriously impressed, the amount of hours put in too a body kit. I hope you're planning on selling this. Big up dude!
Babe wake up! New Stagea Sand Man just dropped 🥶🥵
I had to turn the sound off , the sanding noise was giving me Goosebumps 🤣🤣 GREAT CHANNEL 👍🏻
Mass production of this babyyy will make all these hours even more worth it. Definitely 5star body kit. Noone makes one. Just like the pitcher Rwb wide body kits
My job is a car painter. The gelcoat hardens quickly because of the hardener. There are slow hardeners. You are our antipodes. Regards from Spain.😉

Hey from the other side of the world! The supplier that I use for fiberglass has just started providing a slower MEKP catalyst for this gelcoat because this issue was happening to everybody apparently. Things should be better now.
I giggled at the early RAPID SANDING MONTAGE, thought "wait did I press the go fast button" again? Good stuff!
I don't know if there's anything more satisfying than a single color, bubble free layer of fiberglass. haha

For me it's just pure stress right up until I pop the mould off and make sure none of the gelcoat wrinkled or pre-released lol, but when it happens it's like Christmas.
I spent a few years in a paint shed so I skip all the sanding and lol at the pinhole filling. Gives me flashbacks. But thank you for taking us all on your journey. Admittedly there aren’t many videos of people doing what you do; there are few good quality ones too. I honestly think you’re #1 on KZread with making fibreglass body panels. Good luck with your business too, hopefully it takes off 🚀

The crickets at the end just made the whole episode perfect!
The quality of that buck is sensational. Your moulds must actually be worth quite a lot.

Always amazes me how good this thing looks before its even finished. You're the very definition of a perfectionist.
incredible work... fascinating
I know it absorbs water, so it can't be left like that.... but... OMFG that polished primer!
Thats friggin beautiful. Great workmanship Sir, you are certainly a Master of your craft !

Damn, I love and admire the dedication. Doing this alone must take months to completely finish. All the sanding, and shaping, just wow. You're amazing, keep up the great work. You earned a sub! Post edit: Also how this channel doesn't have like a million subs? Wtf KZread!!!! This is exactly the original content we want and need, SMH... the algorithms have failed us again.

Good tip! I think I tried this way back when I terrible at sanding so it didn't make much difference, but now I think it'll be worth trying again.
Awesome work! But still dont understand why you keep sanding, is the never ending sanding
Also, I wanted to ask, will you make an aerodynamic wing that will be flush with the roof (don't know the name of this type of wing, not a native English speaker)? That would be really dope!
Top work as always bro. Wish i could afford to contribute to your patreon to help, but a like and a subscribe is all ive got for now. Thanks for continuing to put stuff out for us on KZread. Love watching every step closer this comes to reality!

Awesome work! Will you be adding stiffening ribs to the moulds before pulling them off, or are they stiff enough as they are?
@TofuAutoWorks

Cheers mate! The tooling resin and 4 layers of 450 along with the extra material on the flanges are all these moulds need. I've added bracing in the past but it's only really necessary for large flat shapes like bonnets or sideskirts.

Очень круто
What block and sand paper are you using in the beginning? Got a body work project I’m working on and I need a block for final sanding
@TofuAutoWorks
Ай бұрын
The grit depends on your paint. 2k paints you'll probably be alright with 400 grit on a DA which usually means a blocking pass with 240 grit beforehand. Keep in mind though hand sanding and machine sanding produce different finishes. 400 grit by hand will leave deeper gouges than 400 grit on a DA sander, so if you have to hand sand go up to 600.
Watched all of your videos 🤙🏽 what brand tooling resin do you use? I’m in Hawaii and would hate to order the wrong one lol
@TofuAutoWorks

In NZ all of our products are just rebranded and overpriced Chinese stuff. Any generic polyester resin will work and if you want tooling resin, I think Easy Composites make one of the best.
