Beautiful work, so much patience. You wonder why so many aftermarket body parts fit terrible...they probably don't spend 3 months getting them perfect before making the mold :) One thing that helps me remove 3d scan dots is a heat gun...softens the adhesive. If they have been on the surface for a while they are kind of tuff to remove.

Thanks mate. It helps when you've got to break these massive projects to always break them up into pieces, anybody with a project car will tell you that. So rather than think to yourself, "I've got to make an 11 piece widebody kit, and produce moulds for the whole thing, then make it all again out of fiberglass" you have to just go "ok, today I'm just tackling the rear half of the rear flare." It's just a good tip for projects in general when they seem daunting as it helps you keep focused on doing a good job on each part rather than skipping ahead or rushing and being left with a product at the end that you're not proud of.

Split flanges for a 2 piece moulds. The same as what I did for the original moulds for the front fenders. The moulds will be made in multiple pieces and bolted together while the finished part is laid up inside, and then the mold is unbolted to get the finished part out. It's going to be a little tricky to lay glass that deep into a sharp corner when making the part, but it's almost always easier to make a part in one piece than make two pieces and join them together.

@@TofuAutoWorks oo ok. I'll definitely be rewatching a lot of the videos on this build. I'm kinda thinking for my civic sedan I kinda Wana do it like the skyline sedan kits and start at the front edge of the back doors and widen it as it tapers to the rear and round it back down at the back with some pandem styling like your doing. And the front kinda like the civic hatch pandems but with 2 vent slots on back of the fenders with the jdm markers on the raised part between the vents and have the fronts taped down more like your doing with the bumper caps and I wana tie into some custom made side skirts as well that taper back like the rear fenders will.
