Mind blowing, you are a machine

Just thought I'd let you know that from watching this whole build, you've inspired me (a guy who works in IT) to do a paintwork fix on my Silvia S15! It had some bad paintwork done on the Spec R badge, where the sticky pads for the badge were simply painted over instead of removed. It's only small but I'd never have had the confidence to do it before watching how easy you make it look! (My work will be, in no way at all, up to your standard but I figured, "what the hell, I can give it a go!" 😂)

I have to say, you have infinite patience doing this work. I guess it shows that you take much pride in your work. Thanks for taking us along on this journey. I am jealous that I will never drive one of these cars, so my MGB will just have to do.

Hehehe, I've got some other really good ones lined up for the future as well. I like to alternate between the more serious builds and the fun ones, I really enjoy taking ugly cars that nobody likes and making them cool or interesting.

Yup, finally bit the bullet and bought myself a 3D printer so I'll be figuring out how that works in the background for the next few episodes while I start on the mould making for these fenders. Then I'll move on to printing and piecing together the kit for the other side.

I've just accepted that I'll be finding random scanning dots forever now. I had scanning done on the Mx5 about 4 years ago and I'm still finding the stickers from that.

I'm a beginner automotive tuner to, but your gaps and alignements are better then the Aston Martin cars! 😅🥰
