wood turning a root vase
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this wood turning video I turned a root into a $40.00 vase. This is one woodturning project that sells. the wood is a hardwood but not sure what kind. It was odd. As I was turning it my nose got stuffed up. I know some exotic hardwoods have irritants but I found the wood locally. This is one wood turning video in the start of a series I'm going to do on wood turning projects that sell. I hope you enjoy/ enjoyed the video. please like if you enjoyed it. If your interested in how to make money wood turning please subscribe so you don't miss any wood turning videos in this series. Thanks for watching.

Hi Rus, That is beautiful and the colour of the grain when you put the finish on was astonishing. Well worth $40 in my mind. Looking forward to your series of videos as I'm always looking for ideas as I sell my pieces as well. Take care mate. Cheers, Huw

That is a good price for sure. It would also be interesting to know where/how you offer your work for sale.

What type of finish did you use?

I brushed on clear shellac on the natural part and used friction polish on the smooth area's. The friction polish is shellac, boiled linseed oil, and denatured alcohol. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. Rc.
Hi, nice another piece. Where do you sell your projects? Thanks

You got a stuffy nose? I also always forget to put a mask on when I turn... we should just in case for our lung's sake
