You are one of very few people I've seen that actually has a hands-on video of the watch. There is so little coverage on this new design. I've been trying to decide between blue or green for hours but really wanted to see an accurate video of both to know what they really looked like. So thank you for the video! It helps a lot :)

The watch is an excellent watch if you want to go for an extended holiday the design and the quality beats any other smartwatch available with big touch screens. The design of the arms is brilliant as there is an option to turn off the movement of the hands if they are close to the screen so you can actually read what is on the screen even if they were covering the screen. The battery is amazing if you don’t sleep with the watch on hand it lasted more than 18 days with 21% remaining with limited notifications and around 7 to 10 K steps a day.

Thanks for reviewing this from the perspective of actual watch wearers. I've been directed by my cardiologist to use an ECG watch and I really don't want to wear something that looks like a smartwatch. I wear a skin diver every day and so this will suit me well. Should arrive within the next week.

I have the green version of this watch, which I have ordered from the official Withings website. They claimed shipment took between 1-2 weeks, ordered it on Sunday and it already came to me on Friday the next week. Beautiful watch, comparable to quartz and automatic watches as of materials and finish. Best smartwatch for those who love the classic analogue wristwatch style. Came from the Steel HR Sport, which took some decent scratches from daily use over three years, since it has mineral glass and not sapphire like this one.

Hie. A fellow Withings user myself. Had the HR Steel for 3 years, absolutely great watch. Thought to upgrade to Scanwatch Horizon but got cold feet reading bad comments on Amazon. Have you had any bad experience with your watch

@@airmanfirstclass3535 It's been over a year since I have this watch and I have been wearing it as an everyday watch all this time. Still works super reliably most of the time, I had it once or twice that the watch displayed the wrong time but when I opened the app again it synced. As for wear, I just see some microscratches around the wristband but thats it. Would still recommend it.

Does the ECG function work in Australia? I know the base scanwatch works but some manufacturer may disable health functions due to regulations, especially when the product is not meant to be release in certain countries.

Great watch...I can have a watch to have the health functions (sleep, running/walking) and trade off the lack of communication features (phone, text) for longer battery life. The issue for me is the size of the watch being too big. One thing is not clear is whether I need a phone around for the GPS functions and the watch cannot give more accurate readings for running/walking. I am using Fitbit Charge 5 which can be 4-5 day battery life and do all the other functions. Apple watch is shelved now.

Thx for great video. It helped me a lot to see the watch in reality. I have Garmin Qatix saphirre but I am Withings fan since 2013. Tested all their items and still have many of their latest sports/health equipment. This model you presented I like because it resemble a bit to my recently returns Garmin MARQ Captain. Really nice watch and Horizon looks like it. Please what width has the strap? Is it 22mm?

I'm getting one of these soon. I had a withings watch when they were owned by Nokia and loved it but gave it up for an apple watch thinking it would be the better option. I've missed my withings since and after seeing this watch (in green for me) I was sold.

Sure, it’s from a company called WatchBandit….but honestly, it faded very quickly and I got rid of it eventually so I wouldn’t recommend it

Great review--thanks for posting it. It's especially interesting to hear the perspective of someone who prefers automatic watches. Has this watched replaced your Garmin Fenix when you hike? I currently have a Garmin with built-in GPS and am considering upgrading it to the Garmin Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar, the Tissot T-Touch Solar Connect or this Scanwatch Horizon. If I go with the Horizon, I'm wondering if I would miss the built-in GPS when hiking. What has your experience been? Also, who is your contact to purchase one in the US?!?!? I'm on the waiting list! Hey James, thanks! To be honest, I've now gone on to an Oura ring which in combination with my phone handles my hiking needs. If I went back to Nepal, I'd probably look at options again though. The Withings will only use the GPS via your phone, but in my experience a watch that uses GPS will suck its battery dry very quickly so I'm not sure you'd miss it? The Scanwatch is easily the most compact and attractive out of those options you mention in my opinion! When I saw hybrid, I thought it may be kinetic, self charging. It's over £500 here in the UK, and there may be import duties as we've left the EU, I am looking at getting one, the green one.

Do you have any issues keeping it clean during or after exercise? I just bought and it's so beautiful (and pricey) I'm almost too scared to exercise with it! I agree re smart watch comments too. It's too much. I was thinking about holding out for the Pixel Watch but I want less Google Assistant in my life. I want a time piece that when I look at the face it tells me the time, not that the printer at my office is offline.

Haha, yes agreed 😄….I think just soap and waters here is absolutely fine. It should stand up to it for a long time 👍 that said, I think I remember something in the manual about cleaning?

Hi Quentin, I got it from Watchbandit. But, it faded quite a bit after this review so I honestly wouldn't recommend it.

All the dust and crap on the dial has me a bit anxious for mine. That's kinda rough lol

I hear you, but in fairness, not really visible to the naked eye. Up close with a macro lens or loupe? Yep, definitely visible but you'll see blemishes even on watches costing 20 times this amount. Won't stop me from always getting up close though! 🙂 Thanks for watching

On the glass, macro lenses unfortunately pick up every tiny little detail hard to see in real life

I got one but im not happy with it ! the Lünette ring is not straight it is a bit of of 12 o clock and it bothers extremly i wouldnt recommend this they dont do anything about this problem....
