Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey Review - Oh, Bother
Ойын-сауық
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is a movie that actually exists. It was made by people off a very small budget and rushed out after only a 10-day shoot. This could have been a funny parody in the same style as Scary Movie but instead, Blood and Honey opts for a straight-forward slasher. It doesn't work. It's bad. Don't waste your honey on this.

This movie came out in my local theater yesterday. I went to go see it today and IT WAS ALREADY GONE FROM THE THEATER!!! LOL 😂

It’s a Fantom One Night Event, so it will come and go and also be hella overpriced, The nearest theater near me that has it charges 18$ for it.
I gave a really negative review for this one and the production company came at me on Twitter. Lol Prepare for that upcoming cinematic universe!

Excellent!
Are you rocking 80s hair? Totally Awesome!
LOL!! You know the same folks are doing the same with Tinkerbell and Bambi.
Talking about the title sequences really got me. I've done the same lazy shit in premier when I give up on trying to make something cool and go "it's fine, fuck it".
I heard a handful of critics all saying it stinks. I am sure it does. I would maybe catch it at home on streaming expecting an awesomely bad movie or a dark comedy that misses that mark in an entertaining and silly way that can be quasi appreciated right before bed maybe. If it is as lousy as I am hearing I am sorry you had to see this in cinema. Lol.
I now fear that in the future they will give Toy Story a similar storyline to Blood and Honey. Andy returns home only to find that his toys have returned and they have a bone to pick with him.

copyright is at the moment like this: "Copyright protection generally lasts for 70 years after the death of the author. If the work was a "work for hire", then copyright persists for 120 years after creation or 95 years after publication, whichever is shorter. For works created before 1978, the copyright duration rules are complicated. However, works published before January 1, 1928 (other than sound recordings), have made their way into the public domain." (see Wikipedia). Winnie The Pooh (the Book, not the movies) was released in 1926 and has thus become public domain and can be used by everyone. (only the book aspects, not the movie aspects). Toy Story was released in 1995. Toy Story would therefore currently fall into the public domain by 2090. This thus won't happen for at least 65 years :) Also, Disney has put a lot of effort to extend copyright laws. It might therefore last even longer. :)

I would watch that
Someone needs to come up with some kind of labeling system for ridiculous movies like this, because sometimes they're actually kinda awesome, like Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and sometimes they're really awesome, like Tucker and Dale vs Evil. But most of the time they're just..... Bad.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was actually a book adaptation, just like Pride and Predjudice and Zombies. Tucker and Dale vs Evil is an original creation lampooning horror stereotypes. all three things are a little bit different :)
Yesss!!! Personally I am more interested in this film than Ant-Man 3. So I appreciate you for doing this.

Thanks for the review Adam but my biggest question is where the hell were you able to watch this movie?? 😭 the only place I’ve seen it is in pirating sites but it’s CAM recorded so it looks terrible. Was it in your local theater?

It played at Regal for 1 night and my buddy convinced me to go
Now if it was tigger on meth with a chainsaw, I’d watch that.
Bummer, I was looking forward to this movie. Thanks for saving me twelve buckaroos.
i just saw a trailer for a spin on the Grinch called The Mean One. It too is a failed attempt at horror but I couldn't help thinking what an awesome idea. As an artist you have to admit that these folks did come up with some good ideas with these horror joints.. Its a shame that they could not deliver. I was thinking as an artist you dont take on a project that you cannot give its due justice.. I mean a great idea is art in and of itself and sometimes that is all we can do, simply come up with a great idea.. to bad tho.. maybe if these bigger budget movie makers had some balls they could did right by these ideas instead of focusing on making more dreadful comic book movies.
The thumbnail 🤣
I saw the trailer to this and I thought it was one of those fake trailers people make. When I found out it was real. I laughed so hard and I'm still laughing. The idea seems like a good idea and it would be cool to see. But I don't want to see this.
lol dang I should have hired you for the choir!
Despite it's many flaws, there were some moments I found myself laughing at how absurd it was. The concept of making Winnie from a childhood character to a slasher was interesting. I also figured I'd be more entertained seeing it than Disney's oversaturation of Marvel, Star Wars, and its remaking of classic animations.
Just so you know, the rights to the story have expired. Disney still owns their interpretation of the story, ie, the character drawings, books, voices, etc. But now even you could use the story to make a movie.
I'm pumped for the new haircut!
I'm excited about your haircut ✊🏼
So being an official RT critic doesn't give you early access. Those damn fools. But I'll take that review instead and will cancel my Blu-ray pre-order. Thought this might be good. Adam tells me, it's not and I believe him. 😉

It’s horrible. barely feels like a movie. But I like the concept. Maybe with a bigger budget sequel/spinoff they could make something interesting
Adam, what if I told you they are making a sequel to this, as well as making a similar style movie with Bambi and Peter Pan? How would you react?
Love the new set! :) -mint
Your know I praise you for not getting a haircut. Barbers are to expensive these days and kinda half fast it alot of the time. Lol.
Didn't know this movie was going to be that bad
Please don’t get a haircut, it increases my enjoyment of the content by at least 87%
The hair? Oh boy
Thanks man
I guess next we're gonna get a muppet horror movie called A Nightmare on Sesame Street lol
Wait, isn't it already on streaming they didn't actually put this shit in theaters did they?
I seriously thought this was a fake movie. Let’s just call it a comedy not a horror movie haha.
Listen to Christopher Robbin.
I saw it as an avid horror fan, and as I agree it was an atrocious movie I must say as horror fans sometimes we love horrible movies because its so bad that its good sometimes and that was this movie for me. I had a good time with it, and Tigger better be in the sequel.
I am so gonna see this, lol
The company that made this is the British equivalent of The Asylum but with lower production values. I've seen some of their other stuff and it is, lets say rough or better still cheap shite and this is from someone who likes Asylum movies
Wouldn't it be funny if this movie made more money than Ant-Man 3.....lol
I actually saw this in the theater last night. That's time I'm NEVER getting back......absolute GARBAGE.
You gotta admit the kills were good lol
Question is, will Ant Man 3 be any better? 😅 And how did this get a theatrical release lol
Sign of the times 😢🙏🏻🇺🇸🌎✌🏻

Oh, bother! This movie looks horrendous we would just watch the original Pooh classics from Disney!
Oh bother
winnie the pooh entered the public domain last year. if and when mickey mouse becomes public domain you can expect some stupid crap too
Haha good lord this looks like total ass - and I need to see it ASAP.
From what I've seen of this movie it looks like a complete waste of time. Not even so bad is good but just boring and lame af. "WOULDN'T IT BE COOL IF THIS THING MADE FOR KIDS WAS A HORROR MOVIE!? HOW FUNNY RIGHT!?"
I actually wanted to watch this... Sounds terrible!
The fact that a movie like this is allowed to exist is one of the biggest insults towards the art of cinema and the medium of creation in general.

Eeep! Audio is out @AdamDoesMovies
I thought Winnie the Pooh blood and honey was actually a pretty good horror movie. It surprised me that it was as good as it was because I really didn't expect much from it. And it'd be quite honest it was a lot better of a movie and a lot more of a return of investment on my time than the Ant-Man 3 quantumania of communism shit show
They made this for less than $100,000? That's even more impressive. I don't normally like horror movies but this was a fantastic slasher movie and I really did enjoy it so I don't know why you're bitching and moaning like your butt hurt because Disney didn't get to keep the rights to a character they don't even want to use anyway. They've had it for a hundred years and that was after them literally paying off people to keep the rights to those characters after they should have expired years ago. They shouldn't keep the rights or the patent on something for eternity That's how you get monopolies and not cheaper drugs
