I always recommend these videos to anyone who will listen, been calling it "The most 'Murican video I've ever seen" though to be fair I'm a Swede so I don't know how well it stands up to others opinions. Taking a close to free car, getting it in approximately roadworthy shape, then driving it 250 miles to watch Nascar isn't something that would be possible here, just one reason I envy the US a bit lol

About your Raycon ad... for the first time EVER... I not only watched the entire ad, I bought what the ad was promoting. Thanks. I also have a heat shield and hi-torque starter in the build list for my 83 Pace Arrow motorhome. We live full time in it, with significant modifications giving us a bunk bed up front for our daughter, a folding wind turbine tower, and solar power sufficient for us to be power-independant for the first time in YEARS. It feels wonderful. Now to finish the engine rebuild.

I don’t know why Ezra doesn’t have his own channel. He’s always doing the fixing while others stand back. He’s funny and seems to have car repair knowledge

Back in the 90s I worked at an RV dealership. At the time,many of the Chevrolet powered motorhomes that sold came back because of a heat sync starter issue. Customers would load up with all their stuff on a hot day and first time they shut it off , it wouldn't start again. By the time I showed up , the engine had cooled down so it started immediately for me. Most customers would come back and trade in for a Ford . Generally the Ford's made a more reliable unit with more torque. Chev should have installed heat shields around the starters, that was the main problem other than a lack of bottom end HP and torque. @@user-iy7yb1sh8g Experience with motorhomes drew up my conclusion. More torque at a low RPM is necessary to move heavy vehicles. That job made me a Ford guy too.

@@masterkamen371 Some our worst motorhomes and work trucks in america are Mercedes Benz lol not sure about quality control in your country but things are different here.. Our best powertrains here is probably Caterpillar and Cummins however most people can't afford these powertrains with our economy. Of the American 3 Chev, Dodge and Ford ,I will take the Ford from my experience. Remember the period of time I'm referring to is in the 90s . The engines offered now are totally different. Cheers Europe dude. Btw Fiat , Ferrari and Dodge work together now LoL 😂

Please make more camper videos! I actually just bought a 1986 ford travelcraft and am planning on doing the same thing. We’re gonna take it too a country concert about 3 hours south in Dayton OH and then plan to take it too a nascar race in August in Brooklyn Michigan! So me and my friends are super excited! I’ve only known your channel for a few months but let me tell you not only are the camper videos my absolute favorite but I’ve been waiting for this video since your last camper video came out! Please keep the RV videos series going and keep Nascar alive haha!

Dude! I’d put plywood doors on the side, paint them white, pressure wash that baby, fix the fuel system and it sounded like exhaust leak towards the end and use it! She’s a great unit!

Hey Junkyard Digs Roofing silicone (such as Henry Tropicool wet patch roof repair) is the miracle solution to stop RV roof leaks. You could smear it over sticks and make a water tight roof!

The brand Geocel is my go to sealant. You have to get it at a roofing supply house.

I look forward to this tradition every year. I tried looking for them on TV hoping I could spot them. They had that large scaffolding last year making them easier to spot lol. Kansas hands down best track in NASCAR 🍻

@31:20 those electric fuel pumps were an after production retrofit on Chevy p30/p37 chassis to help with vapor lock. They pumped to the pump on the engine. They are dependant on the oil pressure switch to engage and have a time out.

I love the Wolfcreek pass verse. One of my favorite trucking songs. Dad was a truck driver and i did it for a little while myself. Some good memories with him and me going down the road together. RIP Wagonmaster. (his cb handle)

Anyone needs an Ezra on long trips... He does all the dirty work and still keeps his good spirits. Amazing. Also, for once seeing him letting his hair flow openly in the wind was amazing and a highlight of the video. And the cute little girl offering ice cream was adorable.

Am I the only one that misses the antics of the Mook . Her and Kevin together are entertaining.

This might be one of the most uneventful videos on the channel -- well deserved for the Junkyard Digs team!! The camper revivals might be some of my favorite on the channel just because it's so satisfying to see something nobody ever cares enough about getting the attention for a change of pace.
