1. Money 2. A guy who's easyer to control. The younger guy has more options and will drop her at the slightest move.

I was once a young (early 20s) foreigner living in the Philippines and can say that we young foreigners were preferred over the old foreigners who were retired and living in the communities outside the military bases we youngsters were stationed at. It comes down to money and prestige. Most of the foreigners Filipinos meet are relatively rich by Filipino standards (poor people don't usually travel abroad) so they represent security if one manages to get into a long-term relationship (preferably marriage) with one (regardless of age)...not only for oneself, but for one's family. I'm just surprised you didn't figure this out after your old girlfriend gave you her insight. As I said at the start, all things being the same, that young Filipina would MUCH rather be with a younger foreigner, someone of her own age and perhaps same-generation interests...to say nothing of the value of "looks" in the Philippines. I was once married to a young Filipina of my own age and know what her fellow Filipinos say about the old, wheezing, fat and delicate foreign husbands of Filipinas who visit the province. But I'm sure that if you were to ask your (presumably younger) Filipina wife/girlfriend if she is attracted more to you as an old guy over a younger foreigner, she'll say she's attracted to "you, darling!" and will perhaps even say something negative about young foreigners just to sound more believable. See, it all comes down to that money thing and right now her best source of income is you and she won't jeopardize that with telling you the truth and taking a chance you dump her in a jealous rage. That being said, I look forward to my next visit to PI, where I can take advantage of that income disparity between developed and underdeveloped nations, unfortunately.

The one and only reason Filipinas date or marry broke old foreign men--they wanna have a break from being poor. THEY ARE NOT ATTRACTED. They won't be rich marrying these men but their lives would be better for sure. Both of them benefits not just the Filipina since the old foreigners mostly if they just live off their monthly pension are invisible in the west. Western women prefers men with money, many of them and who doesn't? Poor Filipinas marrying old foreigners would be good housewives anyway in terms of how they treat their very old husbands. Few bad apples always exist anywhere.

I served 20 years in the US Navy 84-04 Seen so much in those times of my life. I was Stationed at NAS Cubi Pt RP 88-91 Best Duty Station in my career. I married my filipina in 2000. She is 7 years younger than me at which I find a good age difference Compatible companionship in my part (opinion) of it and of course money/security/ Pension is in on it. My wife works hard in the states now everyday contributing towards her/our retirement. Great stream Sam😊

Don, ck, Ryan. I want to take this time and thank you guys genuinely from the bottom of my heart for your service. And with what’s going on now days around the world I thank you guys even more. although I never served in the military I was surrounded by military guys while growing up. My dad whom I respect so much served in the Air Force for twenty or 25 yrs. Not really sure how many. I think of him every day and miss him so much. I am here because he married my mom in Taiwan and he did not know my mother had children. She lied to him cuz she thought he would not marry her. He had the courage to adopt two kids who lived in the province of Taiwan ( me and my sister) when all of his family and friends told him it would be a big mistake. I’m one lucky son of a gun. By the way my grandson just signed up for the Navy. Once again THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.

An older man are led to believe, won't stress them sexually or mentally, and possibly put up with their crap. Most younger men also will not want to put up with children, unless it's theirs, and many available women do have children. Great conversation

Of course, there's "love in all of this." The guy, whether younger or older, "loves" the attention he gets from the young, slim, attractive, energetic, svelte, excited girl/woman giving him companionship in public (such as meals at restaurants instead of having to cook those meals) AND in private (for . . . well private stuff). The younger woman/girl "loves" the fun and excitement that the money of the older man has to spend on her, even if it is only a bit more than she has been used to previously. Just as long as it does not stop. There's "love" everywhere. If the money stops, she may likely be on the next bus out'a town. That's where the "love" ends.

We were in Makati recently. Went to Market Market and SM across the road; stayed at 101 Hotel. It worked out ok. We've been around the embassy area too, many years ago. My wife made the mistake of marrying me. I'm half Indian from Singapore.

I agree with you Gasper. I just realized my experience of young American woman were from over 21 yrs ago. Cuz I haven’t dated a young American woman for over 21 yrs. And the last girl was my ex wife. And I was comparing them with the young Filipinas I’ve been dating the last 16yrs of living in the Philippines. So they may or may not be the same. So my analogy maybe flawed. The women of today maybe more alike than different.

I don't have any money but could offer her a way out. Now she has everything coz she works hard and I've inherited.

Women everywhere want some security in their marriage relationship. Security is attained with an adequate amount of money. It does not have to be a huge amount of money; just enough to provide a comfortable life for her and her children for the rest of their lives. That would include a home secure enough to prevent being kicked out of their home, preferably a house. That would also include a continuous supply of nutritious food for her and her children. That would also include the same for clothes for her family. She would also want her children to grow up in a safe and satisfactory environment in a "good" neighborhood. She would also want to have convenient transportation available, possibly a car for the family. She would also want her children to receive a "good" education to prepare them for a comfortable future. All of that requires a certain amount of money. Maybe not a fortune, but a steady amount available to continually pay for all the things I've mentioned, and maybe more. Money. Period.

Tell me what the attraction would be..., I'm just happy with letting things be with my friends I've met over the decades with their Filipino wives July I will be married 48 years to the same Filipina.. I asked her the same question and going back decades the women were more attractive to 1520 year older men for the simple fact they won't be jumping from bed to bed.... Usually have their finances under control.... You have a point there…I do agree with you. I really didn’t like this video..as I’m editing this video, I noticed I really didn’t prove my case…I was distracted twice by the Philippine security and the police…the first two security guys were nice to me…if you noticed I left pretty quickly when I walked into to the 2nd group of security…when I mentioned 5 guys were behind them, walking towards me that’s when I shut the video down and left quickly, they looked like military police..…the whole time I’m making the rest of the video, I was wondering if the military police were going to pick me up…too many distractions to make a good video…thank you for the comment.

And the Filipino men you are referring to 'without money' will be many scratching a living in the streets. The ones who have money will not be in the streets but offices or medical building, law buildings..so on. You are already taken man so I will not tell you to go to church or do a school tour..or chat w/ office or restaurant managers..so on. LOL. The sad thing is -many will go there and hang out at bars and find dancing girls and think that is all there is the Philippines has to offer and that is a mistake. There are many offerings there - just find the one you are most comfortable with.

If all you can offer is money regardless of age, then what you get are the low-hanging fruits w/ no skills or education. That much is obvious. Now-if you are old who happens to have money security and want good commitment, you may get lucky and find a professional, educated unit. And you will not find them roaming the beaches.
