Intellectually we all know that. Convincing our subconscious, and our emotional selves, is a little bit more difficult. Especially when you've invested so much of everything in this person, and they suddenly go cold on you, and it's almost like you don't exist to them. If you get stabbed by someone, of course it's a blessing that you never see that person again, but you're still left with a gaping wound that takes ages to heal.

You are right. They feel shame and guilt due to their actions but cannot accept responsibility for those actions so they basically go into hiding and move on to the next person. What happens though is they stalk and keep feelers out there on you to see if you have healed and have forgotten what they did to you. It’s like waiting for an argument to blow over, then they may come back and test the water

You're blessed. This demon tried, but failed. At that point there are no more options for Satan. The last desperate weapon was sending the filthy narc. My personal destroyer from the fiery lakes of hell was more successful. She made sure there wouldn't be anything left of me and no chance whatsoever of recovery in this lifetime. It's good to know you made it. Really good. You're alive and the narc wasn't able to get you. The sad part is they'll prey on someone else.

I told mine I knew what she was and not to contact me ever again, once the next relationship fails, She even asked me what type she was.... She'll never contact either of us mate ,they would rather get new meat, I'd rather see pics of her with new supply and nasty messages to me,it makes it easier. She was a narcassist, that's why they stay away, as they will never admit it,her daughters are the same... Could be worse you could be with her🤣

The bottom line is that you'll never get love from these people. They don't have the emotional, psychological, social, or spiritual maturity for love. They're stunted toddlers in these ways and you cannot fix them.

A narcissist attaches themselves to you figuring that you will never find out their game. When you do figure it out and call them on it, everything turns to hate.

My wife did the same thing, but it only took me two years to question it. I dealt with it for a year before she filed a bullshit pfa against me because she didn't want to discuss the issues and it was the easiest way to get rid of me.

My ex has memory holed our 16yo son and 9yo daughter, he walks the other way if he sees us around town and told his friends and family I won't let him see the kids. I tried to keep in contact with him and gave up after he stood them up. It's my fault he doesn't see them at Christmas/birthdays because I don't invite him around. He won't do anything himself to maintain the relationships etc. And he's let himself go from any responsibility saying I'm hard work and start fights because I dared to ask why he didn't turn up when he was supposed to.

The very same story here. Only that it is the mother behaving like that...I often wonder why narcissists all seem to exhibit the same patterns of behavior. We are tearing ourselves apart, striving to provide our kids with the very basic sense of having TWO parents in the already difficult and painful situation of a broken family. Don’t worry, female, narcissist are just as bad. The last words I heard after eight years in a relationship with her was “ I don’t love you I don’t even like you”. I’m not really worried she’s just a callous person. I’ve spent 23 years in the ER saving peoples lives. What has she done for others. Nothing!!!

We don’t hear from our mother after 12 years no contact because we have it all figured out now and she knows that. If you have it figured out they basically give up.

They will Hoover...the first Hoover attempt is a test of your insecurity level. It’s ladened with admissions of bad behaviors without apologizing, future faking and false promises of change. If your response is no response they’ll test again and again. But If they are confronted to their face (must be done in person) and you injure their ego, it’s Game over! The look on their face after calling them out will show you they hate you for doing the opposite of what they want. They are immature fearful creatures, treat them accordingly

I guess I am way too strong for him to get any more supply from me…

I opened my door....told him it wasn't a good time...and slammed the door in his face. I haven't heard from him since. That told me every last thing I needed to know about him.

A long time ago my sister asked me to pick her up at 4:30 am. She came to my house for a short visit than asked for a ride over to my other sisters house where she stayed for eight days. Never was invited to spend time with them. A few days into her trip she asked me to transport her back to the airport at 3am. All five sisters and one brother are in my MO contact list for years now. I have never felt so much peace

The first time I dumped my ex narc was the last time. I told him when I was breaking up that he would never see me again. I have stood by my word and soon after the breakup I went no contact that’s never been broken. He has hovered me for 14 years now and I’ve never reciprocated as I got closure and need nothing from him. Total pest!

Our mother still sends my sister and I a couple of emails every year, but it’s something totally random and stupid, like a funny blurb about Bob Ross the painter (because I liked him when I was THIRTEEN years old.). But as for anything genuine? Forget it. She’s done the same thing for over 12 years since we went no contact with her!! I feel like the effort she’s putting forth is an insult. Like “well, it’s not worth it for me to put any effort or demonstrate any real concern or change, so I’ll just send this stupid email. If it works it works, if not then, meh, who gives a crap”. She just doesn’t really give a crap. She tells all her flying monkey friends she does, but she doesn’t.

When they know you can see behind their toxicity they will remain gone. Consider it a blessing!

This is what I’m dealing with right now , and it’s horrible

I was able to expose my soon to be ex wife after 18 years. We have a 7 year daughter together that I want in my life. Saying that, I’m concerned my ex will disappear or make it extremely difficult for visitation with my daughter. So to play this safe, I’ve been able to educate myself and understand what NOT to do to keep her from moving far away. So far I’ve managed to keep my daughter close to see her and it’s a win win for both myself and the narcissist.

This is the first time in 6 yrs she didn’t contact me 9 months straight and I NEVERED felt stronger I started working out 5 miles a day 1000 rep circuit I’m extremely blessed before I was so confused and exhausted

Back in the day, when i made everything super easy, and i occasionally gave him $, he did always come back. When i started saying "noooo" and i removed the money and s$% he left and has not returned. So, i know youre right. TY for this important video❤

I broke up with my Covert Narcissistic girlfriend 3 months ago. I was told she was grumpy all the time and moody so I reached out to see if she was ok. At this time I wasn't aware that Covert Narcissism was even a condition. Well I got idealised ,devalued and discarded within the space of an 1 hour consisting of a phone call then a message. Haha lesson learned.

It’s really difficult to accept that as an answer, especially if you are going through a separation divorce or break up that they refused to have any communication with their “partner”

I am sure it must have been a HUGE ego blow to them , especially I was probably the best audience they ever had ! If they did contact me now I think I would just stay calm and if they questioned why I walked I would make out it was my own situation and that I am in MUCH better place now ! What I would really love to do is tell them the truth , but I know that ANY kind of energy signals to them that I am still possible supply . Instead you have shut the door slowly whilst nodding and smiling , as you might do with a REALLY ANNOYING cold caller at you doorstep ! Ghosted permanently for the last 7 months. Is for the best I know. Reached out Twice in the last 6 months to check on the ray of sunshine..she is unwell...narcissism is just the cherry on the sundae..if you know what I mean...and got hung up on, twice. It was an eye opening video on this topic Anoushka… Now that I am so much free, I wanna do whatever i wanted to do without giving a damn single thought about the Narc.

I didn't used to be transactional in my thinking with other people...but I have found over time that I will be used, not might but will and tossed away if I don't at least make some thought to what the other person can do for me. I hate the world I live in and what it's done to me.

I think it depends on whether you’ve genuinely figured them out.

I was seeing a narcissist woman for 3 months, but i very quickly picked up that something was not right with her, in no time at all she was gasslighting me and would say something quite clearly and literally seconds later deny ever saying anything. she would then say you have problems and i needed to see somebody ? im like are you for real ? she had probably been with hundreds of men because she kept loads of photo,s and even bragged she has had lots of boyfriends but she was unlucky in finding happiness, but the truth being whenever we went anywhere together mostly at weekends should would outrageously flirt with any man she came into contact with like she had a mission to get a reaction from me, i soon worked her out and just let her proceed with her games and acted like i didnt even notice but i knew full well she was nothing but bad news. and i even told her so. i told her that her games wont work on me. i see her for what she is. and that im done with her., a month later i noticed some people she introduced me to and they simply saw me and gave me dirty looks that could kill. you can only imagine the utter BS that she had been telling them. well this was 3 yrs ago now and i havent heard from her since. shes probably been with another 10 men since me.

Im 2.5 weeks into no contact. I would be shocked if she reaches bc her infedility came out in a very public way and so two friend groups found out about it at the exact same time i did. She'll disappear. From what i heard, she's already found her next victim. One of her co-workers.

Feelings blessed to enjoy the outcome and thank you so much for the therapeutic healing I have received during this time which was essential. Move on, if you don't hear from them again. Free your mind, heart and energies from this traumatic connection. My ex disappeared after I told him he is abusive and need to heal his childhood wounds. He was told the truth and I finally got his number. I am healed and took my power back and left him behind ❤

This is the one right here!🎯💪🏽💯 I was put out of a home that I put together for me and my ex narc ! On and off few months in between a lil over a year now(since the 3rd discard in a 14year relationshit) I’m back around in and out of the house! Come to find out it was because she was on the verge of being evicted! Now I have boundaries! Therefore I made her get help from the new supply and other supplies! I been all over top of everything exposed her and told her exactly what she’s doing etc! (She sent me a cash app for $1000 told me it was to hold so she didn’t spend it. Then ask me to send it back 2 hours later) I told her that was her way of triangulating me with the new supply to get him to give her the money she needed! Up until recent I loved her enough to still off and on deal because the sex is so great but now I don’t want absolutely no dealings! And of course she doesn’t because I don’t supply her at all nomore 🤣💪🏽💯

Inner shadow work is vital. Why we put up with this abuse. Other wise you will met them again in another body. Study on utube your issues. Go silent for yourself and evolve. Let that be your spare time. I have done this as l am a block head. A slow grower. My future self demands it.
