​@@user5092I we don't have a preferred 11, too many players either can't play the system or don't have the passion to leave it all on the pitch. Hoping some more youth prospects come up through the system and it starts to work or we do well in the summer transfer window

It's true that the opposition have less space to defend because of this but on the positive side, it's easier to close down the ball as the same players in close proximity can close down. We prevent the opposition to progress the ball from the center during counter attacks. With Mainoo, Dalot and Licha being exceptional in tight spaces, it would be great to progress the ball out. Not only at Wolves but we did this well against Chelsea too, and you saw how good Antony was in that game. This just shows why ETH must stay for over 1-2 seasons more. Regardless of whether you think he is good enough or not, the players aren't good enough (atleast half of them). You could have incredible building designs and structure, but if your raw materials aren't good, the building won't stand. And we have been changing the builder for all these yrs instead of slowly but steadily getting better raw material. I hope this makes sense😅

Yeah it has differences, for instance instead of using the central part he is using flanks to do this with one-twos and ladder passing and of-course Brazilian flares. Which helps them overload on one side with 7 or 8 players. Pure chaos ( who’s someone i know excels at chaos, yeah Manchester united 😂).

Is defensive minimum width at the back part of why, despite the usually terrifying number of shots on goal per game against MU, the shots on target tends to be comparatively low as a differential with MU?

i like the idea of minimum width but the problem with ten hag is that he uses it only in the final third we should use it in build up as well, de zerbis brighton do it really well , their players are mostly in their half in build up to allow them to move the ball but if the opposition squeezes us that high that will allow our fast forwards to easily run behind but now most teams just do a mid block and pretty much win every ball

IMO l, the reason they can't win the ball ball immediately is because they don't work together on the time of press

In theory one would think so, but the issues with him were attitude, feeding into form etc. were they not? I don't think anyone serious doubts there is a top quality player there but the other issues ... Hope his loan goes well and he gets a transfer and shines. Didn't work out at MU.
