    Strange because at the time he wasn't underappreciated at all. He's kind of been forgotten in the sense he never gets mentioned amongst the legends, but he's up there with Keane in terms of ability and presence

    @@antonellaluque4532 yes,probably was,never argued he wasn’t,but a better tackler,I think not. Ince won the ball cleanly when he had no right to,I remember times when it looked impossible to make the tackle let alone come up in possession of the ball and give a simple pass..best in the business imo.

    Prime Bryan Robson was world class One of the greatest box to box midfielders ever. Could play, score goals, tackle, unselfish, brilliant player.

    This was a good interview because there's no pretentsions about him! And he was a very dynamic Midfield player! He went to Italy when the Serie A was the best League in the World& at first i thought he struggled ( he was a enthusiastic Tackler!!) but once he acclimatized,he just got down to Business!

    Ince's technical skill underrated too. As U say, he wouldn't have played in Italy if he weren't technically proficient, I remember him scoring a cracking goal for Inter following a left then right foot stepover! Also see his small Cryuff touch which ironically led to England's penalty and first goal v Holland in Euro '96!

    Still part of Uniteds best ever midfield IMO Giggsy Ince Keane and Kanchelskis that had everything and slighly edges the midfield with Beckham and Scholes

    Ince was almost signed for Rangers by Alex McLeish in 2002 and, if he did, he most likely would've been a treble winner with us in 2003 🏆 The reason why he wasn't signed was because we landed Mikel Arteta (from Barcelona) and Ince ended up going to Wolves ⚽

    £1 Million for a player like Cantona tells you that football was still sensible back then and shows how utterly insane things have got now. As an Ipswich fan I'm thrilled we're going to be back in the Premier League next season but when our entire squad's wage bill is less than Mohammed Salah's I'm also realistic about our chances!
