I was sleeping in my mom's hospital room 2 days after we removed her breathing tube. It was 2:30 AM. I was dreaming that the room was grey and vast, no ceiling floor or wall. The room was empty except for my energy where I was in the chair and my mom's energy where she was in bed. The room started to fill with a humming vibration. I didn't realize that one hum was humming at a different frequency until it raised its vibration and matched the rest of the humming. At the same time, my mom's breathing slowed. My sister in law was shaking me and trying to wake me up. I wouldn't wake up. Finally, I woke up and within 2 minutes my mom's breathing slowed to a stop. I think I was having a shared death experience and my energy was tapped in to my mom's energy raising its vibration and transcending this physical world. I had never lost anyone and I was expecting it to be very scientific. It was everything but scientific.

@@bonquaintance944 no I haven't. Which I'm kind of sad about. When my cat died, she came to me in a dream. For real. These light beings brought her to me and opened a glass door. She hugged me. It felt like a human hug. It filled me up. Years later I asked my cat to ease the heart of a feral dog I had been trying to catch for a year and a half. Within a couple days, the dog was letting me touch him and pet him. He'd lay on his back and let me rub his tummy. It was crazy! My mom is the first person close to me I have lost. I was really looking forward to connecting to her after her death. I had one dream that she came to me but she was like a purple box. She basically connected to me and did a download. I saw how this life was just a flash of "time" and how this life is so small on the grand scale of things. I'd really like to open myself up to connecting to her on a deeper level. The night she passed, I walked into her backyard, that she loved and took her precious dogs out. I looked up at the sky and asked if she had crossed over. I was worried she'd linger. She had a rough life with childhood abuse. The biggest shooting star went directly over my head. I couldn't believe it. It was a beautiful night out. Really magical. There have been many things like this that have happened.

What science says that all the cells of my body vibrate at the same frequency The muscle cells of my heart contract at once per heart beat. The muscles of my colon fortunately at a slower rate! None of these children of aging hippies that misuse language can define what they mean by frequency of a cell, vibration of a person, or energy. But they use them to make false claims often in order to preserve pleasant delusions or sell products and services.

I've only been meditating for a week and I've already had dramatic changes in my mind. I've always had a very bad temper that would last for hours when triggered, but now, the same things that would set me off I'm able to let go just minutes later! I no longer constantly think about death! I actually feel happiness and passion again. Things all these anxiety and depression drugs have never been able to do! I just wish the rest of the human race weren't so closed-minded about "pseudoscience," or as I call it, metaphysics. Magic is real, it's vibrations, and the ones who deny it are the ones who have not or can not open themselves up to these vibrations.

I would clarify the difference between vibration and frequency, here. Frequency is the rate of vibration, so higher frequency is a faster vibration, lower is slower. What really makes a difference in the long run is frequency holding; being able to sustain the higher, or faster rates of vibration over longer and longer periods of time. So frequency holding capacity is key..........experiencing a higher frequency is good, but it won't make much difference to consciousness if it can't be sustained. So this is why a spiritual practice is key, it will allow long term ability to hold higher frequencies to develop, starting with short spurts and then getting longer and longer, until the higher frequency state becomes the norm.

Caroline Barnes thank you for the clarification. I can certainly tell when I resonate at a higher harmonic but haven’t been able to consistently duplicate the flow. Now to just find the right daily practice. It is a very true presentation that you gave, so often such a dynamic truth will not be believed. This concept has to be experienced, I feel. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much.

@D Master You're looking at it too literal, the term vibrating is used from an esoteric/spiritual point of view. Think more abstract, instead of logical in the meaning behind vibrating. The proponents of it, use the example of quantum mechanics how all atoms are technically in a state of vibration and are in essence energy, so they expand upon this idea/concept and apply it to humans that we must raise our "vibrations", (chi, life force, odicforce, spiritual energy, whatever you want to call it) and in doing so you can have more synchronicities, serendipity, etc. and get with the law of attraction and so on.

Syncronicities are hitting me like confetti right now and, because of this. A poem I just wrote: 'Gratitude's the attitude, the feeling, the emotion That keeps a'float our tiny boat, bears us across the ocean Gratitude for all that is, the good, the bad, the puzzling And letting be, how others be without all our begrudging Tis gratitude, not platitudes that speaks the magic potion, the magnitude of gratitude, that'll keep our world in motion. Has a fantastic frequency, gratitude, as does heartfelt compassion; created from memory, the source of the life we project upon this stage.

I'm glad this Ted talk has not been taken down. By threatening to remove It sort of reminds me of the old days when people thought a witch was trying to trick us or put a spell on us. This woman obviously provided scientific evidence and examples to back her talk and did a good job, knowing that it is in fact a topic outside of the mainstream. That's what Ted is for, after all, to introduce new ideas that help us see outside of our boxes. Bravo, Joanna! I know exactly what you're talking about because I have personally experienced these things in my own life and I know many, many others who have as well. You are right on track, and way to pioneer this leading edge conversation on the Ted platform. And thank you Ted for keeping this as a platform for leading edge conversations by not excluding talks like this. My only suggestion is removing the "flag" as the introduction to this talk. It takes credibility away from this woman who has obviously received many likes and many views since it was posted in 2016.

Its like people know to look at my face when they are down , ive always got my smile on , i can find the right words . I have no idea how im doing this but i end up 'knowing' and feeling connected . Its the most loving feeling . Wish i was further along but thats what holding me back lol . Sometimes i can feel everything everyone every animal and plant , or atleast it feels that way , the sky has many things going on aswell that reflect our minds somehow , i honesty believe that if we meditated together as a specie , we could bring utopia here very easily . Has anyone ever been in such a good mood that they've cleaned the street without realising it ? Or you've took a quiche to the neighbour because they spanked mustang sally in the shower ? Humanity is everywhere , lets spread it like a disease . The love disease . If ebola can go global so can love . This is one huge reason why being an empath is really quite counterproductive because empaths unwittingly pick up on the frequencies of “low vibing” people but rather than running away in the opposite direction which is often the best course of action; the empath helps. That’s obviously considered admirable but empaths end up attracting more and more people operating on a low frequency who need “help”. A very charismatic and funny barrister and I were once chatting about each other’s professional backgrounds and we decided to swap hats after a particularly stressful week. We came up with the new diagnosis of “chronic assistance disorder” to describe people like us who are compelled to assist others to the detriment of our own happiness. We both made a vow to stop. The quest continues!

I just started a drumming circle in my community. We can be at a responsible social distance but still powerfully connect with each other through drumming. Many highly esteemed yogis have suggested that group meditation is exponentially more powerful than meditation alone. Drumming together is no different. I do believe drumming together will help strengthen the community and bring joy. I love serendipity. Thank you, Joanna!

I once had a funny shared experience in a drumming circle. Approx 15 beginners. I was 1 of maybe 6 ppl on a particular drum. Each section playing our steady but slow rhythms in a freestyle led by the main man. After maybe 10 mins of continuous drumming, about 5 of my 6 ppl all stopped drumming at exactly the same moment. Need a breather kind of thing though not physically tiring as we were playing only the tiny tamborims. The wider group were still drumming. We all looked at each other & burst out laughing. None of us knew why we decided to stop right then. Rly was synchronicity. Funny & beautiful!

I knew I wouldn't survive until or unless my body was again back in tune. It turned out that a common medication caused all my discordance. I was the hospital's miracle patient, but I owe my life to love and music. Being in tune truly is a miraculous experience. To this day I remember the very moment I heard my body find its healing sound. I have no doubt that sound is both a life giver and a life saver, but the key is love. Always look for that key. One must maintain a positive flow of thinking. This doesn't mean that you won't have your "moments" in life because we all have them. It's in not allowing the negative to fester or to hang around inside your mind. The thing is, I learned long ago that negative thinking will not bring about positive results in one's life. See, I talk to myself and about myself in a positive way. When I am alone I will sit back and talk to myself about the positives of my life. I keep a focus on that. As important as anything I always “count my blessings” in life……This really isn’t rocket science by any means. It's just learning to control your thought processes and how you deal with people. Plus, I stay away from negative-thinking people as much as possible. Negative thinking people are poison to a positive thinking person. They will work to bring you down while at the same time telling you that you don’t understand their life blah, blah, and more blah….The thing is, it takes effort and control of one's thoughts and way of thinking. One must constantly work at this. But the more you do it the easier it becomes a part of you. I am also a spiritual being. I believe in God……and this helps me immensely. I was fortunate to have come across a book when I was 19 years old that kick-started a new way of thinking for me and changed my life. In 5 short years, I went from working in a warehouse at a hospital to financing and producing feature films in Hollywood. Had a little college education, that’s it. That book was called “The Magic of Thinking Big”….Truly changed my life…I also seek the most positive things to read and watch to help keep a positive flow in my life. So, in a nutshell, it takes effort to keep a positive flow in one's life. It is so easy to slip into the negative mode that many people seem to carry in life. We must battle against that, especially in a world where there is so much negativity coming from leaders and government. I believe that is done on purpose but that is a whole other story…..I hope this helps you at least a little…..

@@tracykay6803 Just remember that your mind is like a factory. It's in the business of "thought production". Now you have two potential foremen running the production end of things, Mr. Positive and Mr. Negative. Now, what you need to do is fire Mr. Negative and give Mr. Positive the control. Now, this doesn't mean things will be perfect and you will never have issues. It's all in the approach. Be "solution-oriented" in life....

NOTE TO TED: Everything can't be explained with research... Science just discovered your gut is smarter than your brain... But the ancients knew that, in fact- my grandmother (born in 1926) always told me to follow my gut and be aware of allowing my mind to lead me... So what are we really doing in the research labs? I have a degree in Biology and Chemistry so I know it's closer to BS than not...that is until someone can turn it into currency. Nevertheless Joanna, this is so amazingly beautiful. Give thanks for your InnerGs and all you are doing! Here's to much more on this topic and seeing you on an even grander stage 💙💞💚🧡💛💗🖤💎

Your heart has 40,000 neurotransmitters which is 500 times more powerful electrically then the brain. This has been proven by the heart math institute. The heart has its own brain, can think and has memory. It's not your gut thats smarter. It's the information that gets processed in the heart through the frequency of another person, the information goes to your brain and last to your gut for the feeling . Scientists Gregg Braden proves this. This woman did a great job.

Such an EXCELLENT TALK, thank you ! Since years I have been aware, through all you mention, of how we can raise our frequency. And the higher the more positive impact that has on us, but also for the collective. Even when we feel sad for, e.g. the "state" of the world, or upset about something, we can still DECIDE to feed our minds with positive thoughts, feelings of gratitude, compassion, love for so much out there and within. And oh boy, how well that works!!!

Its unnatural to force yourself to think positively, because you feel the way you feel. Who is the one that chooses happy or bad thoughts? thought is a material process which operates by itself, not by a controller. If you remain With what is, and not chasing what should be, then the fact Will reveal the truth. Then there is a possibility of insight, and therefore change.

Powerful videos are never watched. Thank you so much for this!!! This video sealed many years of trying to find out certain things. Napoleon Hill said in think and grow rich that the brain is both a broadcasting and receiving station and he stopped at that. You will never find the whole thing in one book. It takes a lot of searching, reading and patience to finally get the secret, except you have a mentor who is ready to reveal to you or you join some of these organizations. May God bless you and Tedtalk.

The glass plate and bow experiment is something I read about years ago, except it was deer skin stretched over a hollow drum. Sand was placed on the skin, and a person would lie down and speak into the bottom of the drum. Truth would produce symmetry and lies chaotic structures. For the life of me I can't remember which indigenous peoples used this technique. But pretty sure it was native Americans.

Apparently this video slipped outside of TEDx's curatorial guidelines, so it's serendipitous I found it. I especially related to her story about the couple at the movie theater because that is how I met my husband. Circumstances were a bit different as a college acquaintance took a nap, overslept and stood me up for the movie BIG we were supposed to see at 7. I was so pumped to see it that I decided to go alone to the 9 pm movie and my future husband ended up sitting next to me. Years later after we were married, he met a girl at our business and thought she'd be a great double date for his brother. When I opened the door (as she came to our home to meet us) my jaw dropped as it was the girl who had stood me up for the movie! Serendipity. One of my favorite words, but this video is so much more than that as energy and especially our vibrational energy is so fascinating.

I havent watched the video yet but reading the titles tells me THIS PERSON TRULY UNDERSTANDS HOW REALLY WORKS THIS SIMULATION NAMED "LIFE". To me creation is a simulation and the simulation that humans live inside of the bigger simulation is a simulation I call "the simulation of struggle" were the avatars are created to run a CODE of struggles. Nothing else. Now I am.ready to watch the video.

  • @lisacourtney1509

It's really hard to clarify what "raising your vibration" means precisely. I know this: most all my synchronicities happen when I'm very clear, alive, engaged, not if I had a drink or was tired for example. At the most aware level, everything is synchronous. After working in a big crystal and mineral store fulltime for 3 years, I began having synchronicities and visions all the time. I was having deja vus that were like movies instead of still shots. I often would see a face in my mind upon waking and upon opening the crystal store for business in the morning, often the first customer would be that face! When I quit working at the store, the effects gradually wore off in a few months. I literally was immersed in so much of earth's rock/crystal energy, my vibration got raised by contact! I've never been the same since. It took years to finally quit missing that vibe. I think now I'm once again used to the standard low average amercian vibe living in a crowded city breathing bad air with unhappy people all around many struggling in countless ways. I never have synchronicities or visions here/now.
