We are responsible for what we are and whatever we wish ourselves to be ,we have the full power to make ourselves .if what we are now has been the result of our own past actions ,it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be achieved by our present attitude and actions . So we have to take the responsibility , acquire the skills and capability and Know how to ACT and move ahead . That alone has to be your swadharma and Karma.. Swami Vivekanand

The action isn’t always the case as I have manifested things without any action whatsoever. I feel like inspired action is the best to describe it. Say you are a gamer and want a girlfriend and spend all your time in your dorm room like she said. If you are successful with your manifestation you will start wanting to get out of that dorm room and meeting new people. Taking better care of yourself, cleaning your room Without it being an “effort action”. It will be effortless won’t feel forced. It will be enjoyable where as before it wouldn’t have been. I have experienced things first hand with the law of attraction and have experienced inspired action.

"you will start wanting to get out of that dorm room and meeting new people. Taking care of yourself, cleaning your room". That's the action. Effortless or inspired action is still action. To manifest is to act. We are always taking action (manifesting).

Are you actually against law of attraction and law of assumption?! Your point of view on the topic sounds so confusing. Why are you only making examples of goals that you can take "real" action on, when there's plenty of evidence that manifesting textes or people displaying better behaviours is possible simply by changing our own perspective? Psychologists are the biggest skeptical on these law and on anything spiritual. You could have searched for evidence and explained it scientifically through quantum physics instead.

Agree, 100% I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt throughout this video but she just kept losing me. Psychologists literally call manifestation & everything in between “new age” . Manifestation is the literal opposite of new age, it goes way back-like you said, quantum physics. If anything, psychological measures and terms are “new age” A quantum approach would have added much more depth and clarity to her point and perhaps dabbled in the psychology meaning. She also contradicts herself in the most absurd way possible that can completely discredit her entire talk- the infinite realm of possibility through quantum physics would disapprove her entire limiting beliefs. Telling people their dreams are too unrealistic-like what? I hope everyone took this talk with a grain of salt-even other talks on neuroscience and brain function are far more inspiring.

Psychologists and behavioral scientists have to be the biggest skeptics in these areas- we never prove anything in our own field to begin with. We either support or refute hypotheses, but nothing is ever truly proven because there’s still a lot we have to learn about the mind to begin with

  • @samratalha.

Exactly my point. You DO NOT need to take physical action, it's not necessary. That's the beauty of manifestation. Someone once said "when you're already taking mental action, there's no need to take physical action."

The content could have been written better, i.e., drop "you" and use "we". I had never heard of "manifestation" until I found it referenced a couple of hours ago, really by accident. I came away learning nothing new. I would have added an executable set of specific actions and not been so general. Lost opportunity to deliver a great Ted T. Further, who is this person? I googled her and found nothing.
