I'm not saying all this because I have some religious opposition to it, or anything like that. I'm saying this because it's a problem, especially for younger generations. Given that around 90% of heterosexual porn contains some form of violence against a woman (whether physical or verbal) there's clearly something wrong with the porn industry itself. Most children today are exposed to porn before they're old enough to have had sex ed in school, so the first message they're getting is a toxic one. Yes we need better sex education, but we also need to stop suggesting through porn that violent sex is normal. It's not portrayed as a kink right now, but as a common part of sex, and that's a problem

I literally used to get cat-called in my SCHOOL UNIFORM walking home from school. I remember a group of guys in their car rolled their windows down and whistled and shouted stuff at me. I must have been 13/14 at the time.

You have to watch the tea and consent video if you haven’t you have to.

It's nice to see a guy talking about sexual discrimination and it's sad that a big majority of it is done to women, i used to work in a pub, the landlady had 2 daughters, well one night i was sat with one of them, she was 12 at the time, on another table was a group of lads, one of them came up to us and said that one of his friends were interested in her, bare in mind she didn't look over 18 whatsoever, she wore normal clothes, no make-up so it wasn't like he didn't know she was severely underage, well i went crazy, i was so pissed, i stormed over to their table and gave them a piece of my mind telling them she was only 12 and they must be fucking sick in the head, her mother was so thankful for what i had done, although the lads were lucky cus if it had been her mother they'd have wished they were never born!

Only one thing needs to be said here: Ryan Creamer. His videos are leading by example and I’m so glad he’s got the recognition he deserves.

That's more useful than some things we were taught. I was taught a lot about the mechanics and the process of puberty, but not anything about social application such as consent. You guys have got it better than people my age did, and I'm only 25.

I got sexually harassed at work, it was horrible He later got fired as I ended up hiding from him when he came in, so I wasn't working to my full potential

i’m only 13 and have been wolf whistled and shouted at a few times, on the way home at night sometimes i pretend to be on the phone to be less anxious so sad that in this world people at my young age and all ages women and girls are attacked 🤞💔 love you russell

The reason I love Russell Howard so much is he makes so many great jokes and he acts silly but at the end of all his jokes, no matter what it's about, he always has a strong and inspiring point to make. He's more than a comedian, he's a teacher and a truly amazing human!

I agree with everything you said Russ. Women should NOT be treated like they are put on this earth just to satisfy our sexual urges.

Whenever I go out and have to come back home alone late at night, I have to make a stop at a busy area and call home. Have them on the phone to alert them when I am a few minutes out so that they can have the gate open and I don't have to stay outside waiting alone (I live in Africa and we normally have fences and gates around our houses). Imagine not feeling safe right outside your own house and inside a locked car!

You should probably specify where it is you live "in Africa". Because in the vast majority of all places in Africa, life is much safer than in your typical English town, at least crime-wise.

@@valocator3923 Yes, sure. That's why I insisted on a specification of the location in Africa - a whole continent for that matter. There are some countries in Africa where I would feel totally safe just about anywhere at any time of the day or night. Safe from crime, that is. I caught bilharzia and was chased by a buffalo "in Africa". Those where my scary moments "in Africa". I just did not like it when the post seem to make the whole continent appear as unsafe and criminal.

@@thephidias Hello. Saying I live in Africa was to explain why there is a fence and a gate around the house as I understand that is not very common in other parts of the world. I have stayed in big cities in Africa (in a couple of countries) and in villages small and remote but the feeling is almost always the same. I rarely feel safe especially alone and at night.

Josh is not gonna be happy about that impression!

In my school we were taught about consent. I will forever remember the phrase "unconcious people don't want tea." Taught it in a fun way! very well done which isn't something I'd usually say about school.

Honestly, he hit the nail right on the head. I have to deal with so much shit from men just when I'm trying to go for a walk in my neighborhood. Guys will drive by and literally TURN THE CAR AROUND to just tell me I look sexy. I don't want to hear a total stranger tell me I'm sexy! And I can't go for a walk calmly without some guy telling me to smile. It's so damn annoying. But yeah Russell gets it and this made me laugh so much actually!
