epic made STEAM improve their interface even further, give more revenue to higher grossing games, and proved that no one else can do it like VALVE / STEAM.

Honestly I stay away from Epic launcher like the plague. The launcher is just horrible to me. If a game only releases over there I just don't get it. Plus Steam has a huuuuuge backlog of video games I can choose from I never played or ones to discover.

4 years later, and the companies have taken advantage of the dumb players who purchase a skin or gun buddy for 20 dollars and now games cant release in a good state... a broken mess and companies put agenda in their games in the hopes that it will capture them the far left crowd because, "MANEUY"... all this happen because we as gamers let it happen... Now there is push back, so I hope it works out well and it isnt too late

There so good games with left leaning attributes. BG3 for example. It doesn't help a lot of games are made for pure profit anymore rather than making a good game. There's a reason the indie and AA scene is exploding.

Just pointing out that Epic has made a ton of games over the years. My favorite being the Gears of War series before selling it to Microsoft. Though most of their money is coming likely from unreal engine licensing since its probably the most popular 3rd party game engine around.

I just wanna click on a game and play it. I don't really care which launcher I gotta click to get to the game that much. It's like worrying about which console you play a game on, except unlike a console, a launcher is free. Look. The game being on a launcher that isn't my favorite doesn't prevent me from playing it. It's right there. I can just click it and play. Yeah, one has more features than the other, that's true. But at the end of the day the only thing I give a fuck about is just clicking on a game and playing it. People fighting over which launcher is best just never made sense to me. Just click on the game and play it. It's right there. Nothing is preventing you from doing so.

If exclusives are what drives people to certain platform they why are steam, gog, humblebundle, green man gaming some of the most popular pc game stores and epic who is going the exclusive route is seen as the most despised on the pc platform. Keep your idiotic thoughts where they belong, in the console market.

Actually it is exclusive, in the company mentioned, exclusive services Steam: You don’t need a credit card Gog: Exclusive games and made to work on your PC. Green Man: we give money back on games you play (actual do they still do that, I recall that was the thing when they first started) See maybe not the games themselves but the service is the exclusive part.

@@TNTITAN exactly so what is epics exclusive service, we buy timed exclusives from developers/publishers so you have to buy from us. Not DRM free(gog), not easy payment option(steam), not paying based on playtime (greenman), or anything that is a net positive for the gaming community.

@@TNTITAN so epic and gog both have free games roughly once a month. I would love for epic to keep trending in the gog direction and give another DRM free store. That would be a argument for the exclusives they pay so we don't have to deal with denuvo and their kinds bs.
