If I were to open the capsules, split the powder in them and take approximately half a capsule per day (i.e. 1.25mg per day), would this be effective? There is so much difference will need 3 hours to explain. They are very different groups of drugs. While first 2 are antiandrogens (spironolactone is used for female hair loss), 3rd is a drug that enhances growth of hair by increasing blood flow and some other effects that are not well established. The last one delays hair loss progression in male pattern baldness and makes the hair lush as well. It is a DHT blocker.
