I listened to a Billy Graham sermon, called "choices" when I was needing God. I didn't know what else to do but to beg God to save me, and to look up Billy Graham and listen to a sermon. I heard Billy Graham say at the end to call the number on the screen.. so I jumped to grab my phone when I heard that. The lady led me in prayer to give my life to God and accept Jesus. I know there's a greater purpose for my life, and know that there is so much more for YOU in this life.. God is there.. and he revealed himself to me.. Please don't give up, God loves you and wishes for you to repent and come to Jesus.. And to lift up your life to him. I don't want you to leave this life without being saved. Come to Christ Please. Your future depends on it. And I'm talking about the future that lies beyond this life.. Because there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth if you don't go to heaven. I did a 21 day fasting last 2 months ago and now I have crazy gifts of healings. I have so far prayed for at least 8 people with different illnesses ranging from blindness, deafness, muteness and some ICU cases. I ain't the healer Christ is! Praise and glory be to God

I did my first fasting this year, it was a 21 day fasting. It was technically a dairy free and meat free fasting, I could only eat mostly greens and fruit. I was tempted a lot because I'm a waiter in a café and it was super difficult because all the foods that I was serving was delicious. Anyways, one day in school I was eating a salad which was just lettuce. I was mad, disgusted, and not satisfied because I was really hungry. The bell rang and I decided to be late for class walk for a bit in the hallways, then I talked to God asking for a simple fruit like an apple because I was starving, I needed something to fill me up. Before entering a class, a teacher next door asked me if I was doing good, and I said "not really because I'm hungry". She said, "I don't got a lot right now but an apple if you want it." Boy was I excited to hear the word apple because God heard me while I was weak. The apple didn't represent something to eat, to me it meant God wanted me to keep going with this fasting and it was possible. This is my testimony and I'm glad that I was able to complete it. Praise to the Almighty Lord!!!!

Thank you for sharing. It's really fun to hear how God introduces something special to carry us through. One of the things I noticed about me is that If I tell myself I'm cold turkey, it's easier to go on without anything but water. If I add juice, hence adding pulp, it activates my stomach. Doing so will only keep hunger pangs coming. Shutting down to just water will only be tough for about four days at most. After that, your focus will be sharper. Energy is in spurts, though, but you will hear the Lord clearer. In this place it's also comical to see how your flesh typically rules most of your life. It's as is if you are in a place where you can taunt the flesh. You will be encouraged when you see through this. I'm sure you understand through logic, but the journey/walk is where you truly get it. I also have fast paced jobs like you, yes jobs, but you can do this if you ask for the grace before-hand and commit. When the storms of hunger pangs are there, it's tough to pray or worship. It's just shouting until they pass. What do you think?

Thank God for healing your wife! You did great! Fasting is the best way to cure disease, to detox. I experienced fasting 5-9 days each time, 18 times. 57 days is long, not easy, good for both of you.

Remember folks, this entry is descriptive, not prescriptive. If you intend to go on a long health-only fast, make sure you're well read on what to expect and you have your doctor's cooperation. Prolonged fasting, for example, can be too aggressive for people with stage 4 and above Chronic Kidney Disease. Shorter fasts with intervals may be better for you, in the long run. Be blessed.

In a week of prayer and fasting...can feel the enemy tempting and attacking me and my family. But the most amazing thing is that I felt God's presence and asked him so many questions giving me clear straight answers. I started crying and I felt peace and comfort. Such an amazing experience. Hope all will get to experience God and his voice during a time of prayer and fasting.

Actually anything we do in our flesh, is works. You cannot work your way to heaven. The Works of your flesh are as filthy rags. Do you know why? Because our flesh is dead. Fasting with a purpose, combined with prayer and drawing closer to Him, is a Law of God. He gives us a promise that you are drawing on the power of God to help you. (It may take a few fasts to get God to move based on if the thing your fasting for.. And if it's going to be for your good or the other persons good). Fasting and drawing closer to God is ALWAYS a growth experience no matter what. It's a Law. You are drawing closer to Him by doing it. It's says in Scripture you are calling upon God and the powers of Heaven by doing so.

​​@@amenwebster7707you have to teach yourself. Try a one day fast and take it from there. Or, try days of fasting without dairy, meat and make it a must. Prepare your meals ahead of time and only eat between certain hours of the day, like 3pm-9pm. After those hours fast and pray for Father to aid you on your journey. I believe you can do it! I've fasted for my problems, health, and well being. I usually fast for 24hrs with no one knowing. I started fasting at 18 yrs of age I am now over 60. I love the Lord they God. I also fast for problems that I'm having and want to feel the closeness of the Lord they God and I never tell anyone I am fasting I make sure I look nice and I smile and enjoy the Lords goodness🙏🏾💖❤

So when we fast can I still work? Like if I do it on my days off my family will know. Which I guess is okay but I wanna do it secretly. So if I decide to fast can I still be working my full time job? I can spend time with God and listen to Christian music. But that's about it and pray through the day and when I get home then I can read the word. Is that good or is it like I have to be off and just stay home? Idk if I'm making sense lol. God bless!

To me, when Jesus said “But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” ‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Jesus states that your fasting should not be obvious to others, so he’s giving the guideline on how to go out into public or go to work while fasting. @JTurner3000 dude so I was gonna do it today. But of course it was a circus. Dog didn't wanna behave. I was just getting tiked off like super quickly. So I said forget it I'll do it another day. Man I know some ears 👂 herd I was gonna fast and get closer 2 God but since he herd that he wanted to use people around me 2 get me upset and not fast. But don't worry he's under my feet in Jesus name and just as Jesus crushed his head we can do the same and say away from me satan in Jesus name! God is so good and I will fast and I know it'll be good! No excuses even if I get upset or ever during my work out idc I'm going to do it! God bless you and thank you again! 😊

Amen. You can choose however you want to fast. If you simply donot eat and do not spend time in the word and prayer them it will considered as starving yourself. Fasting isa willfull abstaining from.natural pleasure for spiritual purpose. Prayer is earthly licence for heavenly interference. Fasting and prayer goes together. Tried fasting a few times and it only developed eating disorder for me 💀

As someone who has fasted before I can say the benefits are worth the absence of eating. You don’t have to go days and days without eating. Simply waiting to eat until 12:00pm instead of right after waking will start to make you feel lighter, more energized, and refreshed. Its also an amazing way to flush out toxins.

I also hold off on eating dinner. That way the toxins of the day wash off of me, and I can end the day close to God.

I’ve been fasting on Sundays and give up something else too and god blesses me even more, god is so powerful and amazing. I do it just to have clarity and be closer to him.

Fasting really do work.I used to organise youth programs and I didn't see any changes in their lives,so I decided to go on a 40day 40night fasting.I booked myself in a secluded guest House where I was never gonna be distracted.The first eight days was very difficult because I only drank water.So on the eight day I couldn't wake up from my bed so I continued to pray while in bed and then suddenly on the morning of the 9th day,a big venomous red spider emerged from under my bed and on my pillow,so I just jumped from my bed and was very surprised that from that day I could stand up and could even do light exercises.I felt so light as if I was walking on a sponge.The feeling was great until I finished my fasting and my life has been much better spiritually from that fasting.It brought new meaning to what our Lord Jesus Christ said when he said'Men shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God.

Fasting comes in all kinds. You can fast social media, fast food, going out with friends, whatever "feeds you." I did a 40 day fast with only taking communion each day and a little olive oil as needed. It was difficult and easy at the same time. I eventually had to tell my closest because they noticed I wasn't eating and got worried. I also accepted food from people but put it in plastic bags and put them in the freezer. It was fun unearthing the food treasures at a later time. I just have to say that when you love the Lord it makes it so easy. He's worth it.

Amen,I have fasted for 6 days without eating and only drinking water,I wanted to go further but it wasn't necessary,because I received my answer 3 times from the Bible,put your faith in God if you need an answer or fast for knowledge.take out all bookmarks... talk to God all the time.praize him,and like said in this vidio,God listens to you're 💓.trust Him and be persistent. There comes a time during the fast when God speaks to you through His word,youle know, because the words Wil become alive in you're heart and it will become clear,if you doubt it's God speaking to you,ask God to give you 3 evident answers. Currently 18 and my first fast was a Daniel fast for 21 days; I did it originally to be more in tune with God more, to heal whatever kind of soul tie I had to food (hated the way i viewed food), and to have a spiritual breakthrough. I know it's orchestrated by God because he lended me his strength and gave me so much grace during it (provided me with lots of fruit, etc). my hunger wasn't bad like i thought it would be, mainly just cravings but they were always a fleeting thought. even during the first days when my body was having difficulty adjusting to few calories a day (feeling nauseous, feeling like i was going to faint) i still wasn't hungry, the Holy Spirit in me was thriving. I always remembered that the flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing. And boy, God does keep his word... I've been more sensitive to the Holy Spirit, I've had various breakthroughs with the Lord ultimately showing me he made me stronger than I realize, and I view food and my other fleshly desires differently now. I still have 3 days for the fast currently (right before thanksgiving), but I will remember this and look forward to fasting often in the future 🙌 Praise Jesus, thank you Lord!

Next time when you fast, look at the food as it is all are just something that you normally see everyday and there’s no need for it during this moment, smile, meditate, pray, rest and do something productive for those days.

My Mom taught my siblings and I how to fast whilst we were still kids. I started at 9 and sincerely, it's really helped me even as an adult. I recently did a 3 day dry fasting, it was really really exhilarating. I was glowing, no one believed I'd fasted when I told two of my close nieces... Fasting empowers and emboldens the spirit via the Holy Spirit. 😗🙏 Thank You dear LORD Jesus Christ.💖

The Daniel Fast is an excellent fast. This is my second time on it. I am not only sustaining from sugar, meat, dairy, and processed food, but also most social media (except positive videos on YT) and negative people/things. It is a good way to draw closer to God, get clarity on your life and purpose, and just talk to God, give him praise for all he has provided, and tell him what you want to strive to do.

I fast on regular basis. I've received many prayers answered and found peace through fasting and prayer. I fast whenever I am in severe distress and suffering hardships. I fast for sick people and people who are going through hard times. It's a surrendering to God all your problems and let him control over you. It's a wonderful discipline w/ a godly purpose that takes you to the next spiritual realm.

@Arosh Lush You can repent and be restored. Repentance also demands "bearing fruit," a change in your lifestyle. You don't have to seek after emotion. It's a willful choice. Tell Jesus what you've done wrong and ask him forgiveness for how much you've broken his heart. Revelation 2:4,5 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. Btw, Have you been truly born again?

I have undergone all the tests mentioned 😢 and currently am undergoing the test of serving and faithfulness. I Give Glory to God, '....and yea shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free '. His grace is sufficient. Praise be to ALPHA AND OMEGA

i want to fast to God for the first time, what time should i start in the day? do i have to stay in my room for 24 hrs without going to the living room? do i have to talk to my family in the house during fasting? if my mom knocks in my room to tell me to go out and clean the yard, do i have to say yes and clean the house during fasting?

@@gutadin5 fasting startsin the morning 6:00am to 6:00pm, and if it is your first time start from 6:00am to 12:00pm and make sure you read a word of God and also praying, secondly you do your work as you are fasting.

Are you people real? With all this non-sense about fasting. Only thing it does is possibly is to help you lose some weight. In the old testament they only was required to fast once a year, at the day of atonement. God is not conditioner, He does not move or act because of your fast or your prayers, God is moved by faith and belief in His word, being a son or daughter you are entitled to all the promises of your Father's. Faith is the currency of heaven. God was conditional in the OT read Deut 28, and hear the words of blessings if you do and if you don't, we are now under grace, everything is on Jesus Christ, we have nothing to do with it. So stop listening to all the mess, and ask God to open your understanding of His will, ways and word.

I Was Unemployed for a year , had my divorce meanwhile. My life was crashing down . One fine day a believer told me . Fast and Say to god. Trust me 3rd (Friday) fasting day I had my Job. Praying for my life now.

I feel like it's a confirmation... I've been going from undereating to overeating and it feels like a circle that's incredibly hard to break... but I'll never say it's impossible because God❤ I love Him and I will try my best, thank You, Lord!!!

For those considering their first fast, the Daniel fast is a great way to start. The best way to do is with a diet of fruits and veggies. This is my favorite one. You can fast by abstaining from certain actions as well. In preparation of Pentecost Sunday I decided to abstain from cigars and am now alcohol and tobacco free. It works, try it.

When we fast is we are disciplining the FLESH.

Matthew Ch. 5 starts off with blessings for the poor in spirit for they will inherit the kingdom of God. It continues with blessings for the meek, pure in heart, those who hunger for righteousness etc. It walks through the steps in life of a disciple of Christ. It and the rest of the Beatitudes (Ch. 5-8) are some of the most beautiful passages in the Bible

I fasted for 31 days just on water no food. I was starting my spiritual journey getting closer to God. I was going through so much during my fasting but it helped a lot. It showed me that we are battling spiritual forces good vs evil here on earth. I was visited by an entity on last couple of days of fasting. I'm would be honest to say it scared me and it was like death came to visit me to show me I'm watching you and I don't like that you are choosing to be with God. I just cried and prayed to God to keep me safe under his covenant. Fasting open my mind up to really show me its real out here and we have things walking along with us everyday just watching us. You have to experience it to be a believer.

Praise to our Lord Jesus ✝️🙏Amen.

A special mixture of olive oil with myrrh, sweet smelling cinnamon, sweet smelling cane, and cassia was used for annointment.(Exodus 30:23-25) What makes it so special , is it is applied in His Holy name and the faith behind the act. It was done to heal the sick and infirm in His name...instructions were provided in detail. The magic as it were, is in the name itself and faith in it's omnipotent power. It is simply sweet smelling olive oil otherwise...

Tonight, I felt a spiritual emptiness. I became very hungry, but for some reason refused to eat dinner. I suppose I chose to fast, but I didn't realize it until I had this strong need to pray the rosary. I lit a candle and prayed it for 20 minutes. Still have not eaten. I think this is the first time I consciously chose to fast to be closer to God.

Not all fasting attracts God's attention. Fasting with pure humble purpose in heart to seek God's presence, just to be decent in God's eyes is the key. My experience in 2016 at fasting for 40 days with 17 hours not eat and not drink anything. And i also do Esther fasting in between (read esther 4:16), 3 days full not eating and not drink anything, in 3rd day i got heavy migrain and cannot sleep, my urine turn color to dark brown (maybe because of heavy dehidration) and i lost weight 1 kilograms in just 3 days, 10 kg with in 40 days. But praise to God, i receive His attention, when i sleep, He wake me up at 3 AM in gentle manner, my ear hear rooster crows like 3 times, my heart got mild struck of static electric ( not painful but enough to wake me up so that i know i'm not dreaming), in my mind i heard someone saying this " I am your God, I am your God, I am your God" (in my native language bahasa indonesia, "Akulah Tuhan Allahmu; Akulah Tuhan; Allahmu, Akulah Tuhan; Allahmu) and know this person is Jesus Christ presence because i'm not affraid and His presence give me peace. So my response to that, i wake up, see around me all dark because i turn off the light when sleeping but i sense someone in the room along with me, i just sit in my bed and next i kneel and bow and i said "i am here o Lord" (in my native language "Ini aku, Tuhanku"). And until now i live by the grace of God, i survive from 7,4 SR earth quake in 28th September 2018, in Palu, Central Celebes, Indonesia, over 7000 people dead in that 1 day from earth quake, tsunami and land liqufaction. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Each one of us as God's creation must be responsible for their every decision in life like in the Holy Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 "5 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. 2 Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, 3 because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. 4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad."

In actual fact fasting does not even attract God's attention

I have been fasting consistently for over a year now. Now, by fasting I mean I wait all day UNTIL the sun goes down, and try to only have dinner as the only meal. It has TRULY brought me closer to God's grace, mercy and peace. I intend to fast for real at some point, but for now I am happy to be receiving and be aware of God's presence in it all. I really have been enjoying taking a fast from first light until sundown. I allow coffee into my routine still because I need that caffeine boost in the morning. Otherwise, I will substitute juices for meals. Also, if I work out, I have ONLY peanut butter for immediate protein (I should try getting powder again at some point). But man, when the sun goes down, and I eat...i feel so grateful and uplifted to the Lord...I can really feel like the meal is meant to be, and I can truly enjoy its flavors, variety, and texture. It's just something we all truly take for granted...but when you've been half-fasting like I have for over a year now, it truly reveals just how much we have to be thankful. God bless, everyone. For future readers. This is called intermediate fasting. You start by eating only once a day. Then once a day and only after dark. If you want to go another step, Then you eat once a day all week and on the last day, Saturday you don't eat at all. Then you start Sunday and again eat only after dark. Another type of fasting is, a David fast. Where you only eat fruit after dark once a day for ten days. You can also fast from anything. Like a 30 day electronic fast or something. there there are longer fasting where you go completely without food. This is best done at first for only 10 days. If you fast from even water it should not be for more than three days at a time before you have water. Longer and you could harm yourself. It's best to do food fasting. Fasting from even water can be harmful and even kill you. You can have a stroke or heart attack and die. Please be safe. Fasting is how the soul brings the body and mind into submission to the will of God. I pray you have had the best of luck.

@@Tomtomjameson dangerous advice. On longer fasts, not having your sodium means the water strips away from the body. Your body fat does not store enough vitamins and minerals, so a multi-vit/min is also required. If you are less than 10% body fat, you risk permanent damage and potential hospitalization. Be careful with loose lips... you can hurt others.

@@CueVueTV its not dangerous adviceyour brainwashed, don't believe everything you read or hear people say kid, I done it for 16 nights with just water, I'm 80kg and lost about 14/15 lbs, never felt under threat, never felt like I was lacking something or anywhere NEAR hospitalization I fact I felt 100 times better so what does that tell you? 😂 we're all different but In no way is it bad advice, it's very good advice and it's a shame not enough people do it, you see when your programmed to believe certain things its Impossible lol I mean I could literally have proof its still easier to agree with a stupid person then to try to convince them of the truth, for certain people still too far gone into the whole propaganda. Someone can literally cure themselves of cancer by fasting this way by starving and killing the cancer cells and your going to say that it's dangerous advice? Be careful with YOUR loose lips, you might prevent someone healing their body how it should be done (in my opinion) its through my own personal experiences as to why i whole heartedy disagree with you. Listen to the doctors though whatever floats your boat. Good day mate. Cup of water, boiled, add ginger, turmeric and black pepper, mix, consume only this for 30 days. Don't be fooled.

Once a good priest told me: don't worry as much about what goes in your mouth,but more what comes out of it.

The most important lesson I learned during fasting, was following the example set by Jesus Christ: Prayer & Fasting from food. While eating a lot of spiritual food from the Bible day and night. If you’re not spending a lot of time in the presence of God; reading His Word, then you’re not fasting, you’re really on a diet.

When you fast, you give blessings to others, as a thanks giving.

fasting is effective because I did so I it work I started my fast early in the morning and end at noon thank you lord 💕 for everything amen 🙏🙌

Amen thank you. I was born a Christian but I really want to fast one day. I love Jesus more than anything. I love him always and forever 🙏

Currently 15 hours into my 30 hour fast been really drawn to God and his word the last few I’ve been learning the story’s and the word (I’m very new to the faith) I’ve been having fear that I’m beyond saving and that I’ve strayed to far and my heart is to hard still hopeful though doing this for forgiveness and for the love of the lord

God will not give up on you. Christ came to save us-not condemn us. He knew you before you were born and loves you. You are already forgiven, and if you long for Christ, you will grow in spirit and find the peace you need. The spirit of Christ makes us new, we become reborn and dead to the old things that hurt and condemn us. Peace.

This feeling of having gone to far and being lost forever is endemic in these last days. You just admitted you're drawn to God. Don't you know that grace is a gift? It's an activation of the human will towards God. It's impossible to achieve without the unctioning of God's spirit. Jesus says that those who are drawn are called and will likewise never be turned away. My friend, don't use your feelings as a litmus for the state of your soul. Lean not on the flesh. Jesus Christ is faithful even when you are in a state of sin. You must never neglect that, but always be seeking. It looks like you're going the right direction. I hope you find the completion of that.

whenever you feel this way, remember that the enemy shames us, God does not shame nor make us feel like we have ever strayed too far....the devil will make you think that you are not worthy because of all the bad things you h ave done...that is NOT GOD. Rebuke the enemy from your mind, home, body, and spirit!

Day 14/40! Hallelujah Praise His Holy Name! My body is used to it at this point. I tested positive for Strep Throat last night and thought I was going to quit but I feel led to keep going. When I asked the Lord if a 40 day fast was for me He said to me “Come and See” God Bless all of You!

Hi Christopher, be careful with the goals, a normal person only can last 35-40 days without food, do whatever u want but make sure that ur health is in care. God bless u

Many people take a couple table spoons a day of sea moss when they do the 40 day fast it provides the minerals our body’s need
