What changes do you both encounter?

If you've been fasting for some time i commend you do a 3day dry fasting an absolute fast. It works miraculous. All along i fasted partial from 06 to 18hrs. Until one day i decided to do an absolute 3day Esther fasting. I started on christmas eve and break on 26 at 18hrs. I slept that night and dreamt i killed a snake, when i woke up the following day in the evening i saw a snake crawling on my door step and i killed it. Thats how my visions started ever since, im a living testimony. But when you fast dont go with wrong motives, just because my visions started that way does not mean you'll also experience the same, God reward according to your faith in prayers. And also when you fast, dont pick up quarrels, give more to the needy- accommodate as many people as you can, it pleases the lord. Read more about fasting in Isaiah 58:3-12 Thank you for your time.

I fast every day as part of my ketogenic diet. I only eat once a day. OMD Start by skipping breakfast first. It's easier because it helps stabilize blood sugar levels, reducing hunger later in the day. You can drink black coffee. Eating breakfast, especially meals high in carbs, can cause a spike in blood sugar levels. When blood sugar rises, the body releases insulin to regulate it. This insulin release can trigger hunger later in the day as blood sugar levels drop. By skipping breakfast, you avoid this initial spike, making it easier to control hunger throughout the fasting period. It's a simple adjustment for many people and allows for a gradual transition into fasting without disrupting daily routines too much. It's a 16/8 fast, meaning only lunch and dinner ( no snacks ). Once that feels comfortable, move on to skipping lunch and only eat dinner. Then, gradually work up to a 24-hour fast, taking it one step at a time. Eating less reduces hunger. I hope this can help. One pitfall to avoid regarding fasting is self-righteousness. The Bible warns against adopting “mock humility.” (Colossians 2:20-23) Jesus’ illustration of the proud Pharisee who felt morally superior to others because of his regular fasting leaves no doubt that God rejects such an attitude.​-Luke 18:9-14. It would also be a mistake to publicize the fact that you fast or to fast because another person tells you to do so. According to Matthew 6:16-18, Jesus counseled that fasting should be a private matter, between you and God, and that you should not announce it to others. One should never think that fasting somehow compensates for sinning. To be acceptable to God, a fast must be accompanied by obedience to his laws. (Isaiah 58:3-7) Heartfelt repentance, not the act of fasting itself, is what leads to the forgiveness of sins. (Joel 2:12, 13) The Bible emphasizes that we receive forgiveness by Jehovah’s undeserved kindness expressed through the sacrifice of Christ. It is impossible to earn forgiveness through any works, including fasting.​-Romans 3:24, 27, 28; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8, 9.

When you fast with making sure you have faith and believing in the son of God Jesus Christ then Holy Ghost will take control and all your supplications will be approved due to your sincerity

@@KAZIBWEPAUL-wd2nv when I turned to Christ I wasn’t even planning on fasting but found myself doing it. In the beginning I was forcing myself to eat, I had no appetite. I’ll be honest it took many days for me to come to the realization that God was having me in a fast. I was deep in prayer when I went to the grocery store and let the Holy Spirit guide me on what foods to buy and when to eat. I went weeks on minimal caloric intake but never lost strength. I remember one week only eating meat twice and it was beef and lamb. It was never my intention to quit pork but the appetite was taken away from me literally overnight. God is good 🫶🏼 and I continue to pray (without ceasing) in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord 🙏🏼✝️

I thought the Lord was dealing with me about fasting 40 days. I kept seeing the number. Was home one day and thinking about it, and talking to the Lord, and saw a book behind my couch. It was open so i put my thumb under it when i picked it up. At the same time i said Lord, if you approve and want me to fast, please let me know. I turned the book over to see WHEN, NOT IF. It was a chapter in a book. I closed my eyes and the book and prayed and said Lord when? With my eyes closed i opened the book and stuck myfinger, at a venture, on the page. I opened my eyes to see where my finger was. It was on another chapter title called THE TIME IS NOW. The hair on my arms stood up. Have had a lot of miracles since that day.

GOD I PRAY for your help in my intention on my first fasting ... that's my desire so as I may receive the HOLY SPIRIT in my life

I regularly fast, primarily to heal health issues. I remember during my first extended fast that I conversed with God for strength much more than I would normally do. Fasting concentrates the mind and spirit. Well, at least for me it does. I now recognise that the healing properties of fasting are a miraculous gift from God.

It is always so difficult for me. I have to really pray hard because I take medication and not sure I can take them so I always end up doing only half days and I feel they are not always effective. Very good explanation of why we should fast. The part of the verse that says "and your heavenly Father will reward you" is a great incentive. We often look at spiritual exercises as a burden, but if we look deeper we always find there is a reward for such discipleship.

Some people just drink orange juice one day a month for health reasons, the natural sugars in the orange juice prevent faintness and help maintain blood/glucose levels, and this is very good for cleaning out the gut and giving things a rest, fasting should not be undertaken without medical supervision, properly done it has good health benefits, done badly it can cause damage, my advise, under medicle supervision, and then with discretion.

Fasting is About Forgetting About our Selfish Nature And Concentrating upon the Work of God, and his Righteousness. Helping The Needy, The Wodows INDEED In the Church, The Homeless, the Orphant, the Fatherless, The Hungry, Feeding them and Praying, Encouraging, Comforting, Admonishing, Exhorting, Uplifting, Ministering Feeding Upon the Word of God and doing his Work by Healing, Preaching and Teaching the Poor and the Needy, who Need Salvation, Fasting is to be Hungry and Thirsty AFTER Righteousness.
