WhiteGMC WXLL - Leach Beta Rear Load Garbage Truck
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Now that I've shared a couple of Sanitary Disposal's residential trucks as well as one of their roll-off trucks, here's a look at how commercial waste is handled! This WhiteGMC WXLL with a Leach Beta rear load body handles commercial garbage around the city of Hermiston, OR. Rear load dumpsters are handled using the arm-style latch system, a very popular setup for commercial rear loaders in Oregon. If memory serves me, this is the only Leach rear loader in the fleet. Most of the commercial trucks are Heil Formula 4000's, and there is also a Formula 5000, all on WhiteGMC and/or Volvo WXLL chassis.
Of course, a huge thank you goes out to this very friendly driver and to all of the wonderful people at Sanitary Disposal for allowing me the opportunity to get some video!

Another great video sir! I like that the small gap on the tailgate allows a glimpse of the trash being packed during the cycle.
I almost think these Heil style tippers are better than the more common Leach. Great video!
Nice catch. Still running strong

Been wanting to say for a while that I love that opening and closing guitar riff you've got going on, really sets the mood, twice as successful when it's a real cool garbage truck like the featured one! Totally excellent that you guys even have lifter variety when it comes to steel containers for RLs, might be a drum winch, reeving cylinder, shown arm latch, squeeze bar, kick bar... maybe more I've forgotten or haven't seen yet?! I like these longer and shorter Leach bodies, something cool about them, plus that slightly lighter duty packer design. The sweep works at a good pace and the slide pulls everything up not too slowly, but watching the blade lower towards the hopper edge is almost painful to watch... hurry up already!!! Enjoyed those three driving off shots you got, nice sound from that exhaust, 4:03 was a nice taste, then there was extra treat getting through a couple of gears at 6:18 and of course it made for a perfect ending shot. Looks like a simple enough task going around emptying a bunch of containers like this, just the odd manual and cart job here and there I take it.

Awesome video! I've rarely seen these tippers. What is the largest yard dumpster that these can handle? It would be nice to see more footage of this truck or similar rear loaders.
Interesting lifting attachments. Great video.
👍👍🤘👍👍
This is a neat truck but not sure what the difference is in container lifts

Great video Bryn! I have always enjoyed commercial rear load collection. From the research I've done, and KZread videos I've seen of Sanitary Disposal, I'm wondering if they have any residential or commercial recycle programs (besides commercial cardboard)? Or is all the mixed waste taken to a mixed waste MRF prior to disposal?
