Groot’s White Mack LR McNeilus Meridian Curotto Can Garbage Truck

Featured in today's video is one of Groot’s newest trucks bought as a result of an influx of work when the Elgin shop took on a new contract this year. Since these came in too close to the start date they didn’t have enough time to get them painted, so they slapped some dumpster logos on them and got the temp plates just in time to put them on route for their first day. This is one of six that they got in, and for the time being the plan is to keep them white but if they get the chance they’ll get them all painted. The day this was filmed it was an off day for the new contract, so rather than letting this truck just sit they sent it out to Glen Ellyn. The Curotto was pretty quick and the driver had some skill so it was pretty fun to watch, and so I hope you all enjoy watching a not-so-average Groot truck!

Sweet catch dude! I really like Groot’s paint scheme but seeing an all white truck from them was definitely a treat! The stickers and the green bucket actually look really cool, especially on a white truck. The driver ran it pretty well and the truck sounded pretty nice too. The shot with the ACX at 1:30 was super sick as well! Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I’m a fan of their scheme as well but this sure was neat to see! I was glad to see it at least had a green Curotto, and it looked really nice with the solid white truck in my opinion. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Awesome video! Was waiting for another video like this. This truck is very fast, and once again like the lid flips it did. It's interesting that this truck is white instead of the original color.

it's white because they need trucks on route and there was no time to rap the whole truck so just a few stickers were slapped on

I had just finished catching up on my youtube and realized it was almost 5 so i was waiting for this one lmao! Awesome find dude! Can't go wrong with this combo and the Groot logo looks nice on the white truck, would be cool if they kept it white and put a logo on the side. Well done man keep it up!

Awesome video! The white is definitely peculiar, kind of love it though. Glen Ellyn always has some entertaining units, would love to see a full video of the ACX on recycle. Now we know that clips aren't in chronological order, since we saw that blue balloon prior to the clip where it was dumped. ☺

Thanks! I thought the white was unique as well, and there are always some gems to be found here! There’s roughly 18 identical ACX Heils, and I already have a number of videos of those trucks so unfortunately no video of that one but you could see a video of one of its sister units on my channel.
