International 4900 - McNeilus Standard Rear Load Garbage Truck

I recently took a trip up to the northwestern corner of Washington to visit with some family. I had some free time while I was up that way, and I had the pleasure of meeting fellow KZread garbage truck enthusiast, West Coast Refuse Trucks. We spent the better part of a day chasing down an assortment of garbage trucks on the western side of the Puget Sound. The first truck we came across was this fun little McNeilus Standard Rear Loader on an International 4900 chassis, handling a beautiful waterfront garbage route on Bainbridge Island. We were even lucky enough to catch a commercial stop for some kick bar action! This little truck was lot of fun to film and a great start to our morning! I hope you all enjoy the footage! This guy rocks! Love the way he flips the lid off the ground with his foot. He liked putting on a show for you! Rear loaders are my favorite, thanks for the awesome post.
Surprised I missed this one. Damn, reminds me so much of when I lived in WA, very similar truck/area/clumps of bins on main roads/mix of manual and semi-auto with a dash of RL dumpster haha. Really makes me miss it. I really think your video came out amazing...and agreed with George, love this guy's style. Sorry for the huge amount of comments - finally starting to catch up on subscriptions.

+Garbage Trucks AZ I'm stoked that I was finally able to do some filming up in that corner of the state, I'm always either up there for just the weekend, or can't break away from family stuff long enough to go filming lol. It's really amazing how different that corner of the state is, versus my little corner lol. I really had a lot of fun chasing this little truck around, and I'm really stoked that I was able to get a little kick-bar action in there, too. And again, I've got to agree, this guy's hustle is what really made this video. As always, thanks for all the kind words, and thanks for watching! I've got a fair bit of catching up to do myself, so I feel you there lol

gotta love a mcneilus. I run a 25 yard on a mack with both a pusher and tag axle. this guy looks top notvh at his job.

Justin Gilliland I have run an extensive variety of rear load brands. Mcneilus has been by far the least trouble with the best long term performance and lowest break down record.
I seen a heil formula 4000 on this truck chassis
