I have FC 3,4,5 and Primal and more then likely 6 if it comes out on PS4? I like then all for different reasons main reasons being location,animal's,vehicles,and of course weapon's. Of course storyline,characters and graphics help out as well but I can always get that with other game's as well.

Before I bought Far Cry 5 I was hoping the Falls End wasn't the only small town in Hope County. Not too long ago I replayed Far Cry 4. And I was surprised how many small villages are in that game.

Farcry 5 was a lot of fun with friends but after I finished it I knew I had to play the others so I did 3 first because I'd heard how good it was then 4. 4 ended up being my favorite and it was kind of sad honestly seeing what the series was now. I mean yeah they were good for Co-op but they just seem kind of lazy by comparison. Hopefully 6 will be good.

I'm always saddened when people say that the Montana setting is boring. I guess being a guy from the country of Wisconsin I have this feeling of love for the setting and familiarity. Plus, seeing a game actually set in the US that *isn't* a city(and not destroyed or overgrown in a post-apocalyptic distopia) is quite refreshing.

i think the setting is cool i just think that the biggest disadvantage far cry 5 has is that there isnt really a protagonist. If it had an actual protagonist with a voice actor and everything the game wouldve been a whole lot better imo.

I loved the presentation of far cry 5 the graphics even on a one x looked insane and the story was okay I guess. Far cry 3 is where its at for me or far cry 2 and got a feeling ill like 4 more than 5.

Exactly! I said that also. Far cry 4 had a very nice magical touch to it!you really felt it when you went to certain villages. Nature was paired beautifully with villages and the city! It was just a really good feeling game, it was so relaxing playing it and an awesome adventure. far cry 5 had cool weapons and the small little town that was in my opinion the only cool thing in the game, falls end! First hours of the game are just crazy gun-ho rambo, after you kill the brothers in far cry 5 it is just boring, boring af.

Loved far cry 3 but also enjoyed far cry 4, honestly I think the location is what sells the game for me. I really loved the tropical island of 3, and enjoyed the mountain views of 4 (even though gameplay was it was a little frustrating finding the right spot to climb). I think a 3 to 4 comparison could be really cool

Far Cry 4's Kyrat is gorgeous. Especially maxed out in 4k.. the fall colored leaves, metallic brass and silver decorative effects and dark luscious terrain offers tons of eye Candy. I have modded my copy with better blended grass and thicker foilage. Also override the distance detail and custom lighting to give the game a darker and more neon aura at night. I've been taking screenshots of my journey through the game to upload onto my Facebook account sometime.. Almost like a remaster, it's that good.

I don't see how you can give a point to FC4 when it comes to exploring. FC4 - find a radio tower, climb it, activate it and map reveals everything. Even the loot. In FC5 you actually have to explore to find anything, you need to speak with NPCs to get quests, read road signs to find hunting spots ect. In FC5 loot is also discovered. You might randomly stumble into a house and find a perk magazine. Fc4 is nothing but running after map markers while Fc5 actually wants you to explore.

The exploring for me was 4 definitely cause it looked good. Hope county looked like hot trash for the most part. All u could see was trees and fields. And a big open grass field without a fckin horse in USA. Really. Fc4 had tuk tuks and elephants. U can sit on elephants and fuck shit up. Fc5 was the most boring far cry compared to every other far cry game. Sure fc4 had the tower thing but thats one thing

I've just reinstalled far cry 4 after playing far cry 5. Far cry 4 is still my favourite. I do hope the main character in far cry 6 has a lot more about them

Atleast fc5 has a better co op mode since you can play the campaign. But overall fc4 has the best gameplay.

Fc4 was my first far cry game and it was lit asf. Fc3 is a close second.

Something about Far Cry 5 makes me love it more than I probably should. The fun I find in the gameplay aside, the story with the Seeds and the rest of the characters (thin as they may be) carry it for me. Its hard to explain, I'll always love it.

Every game that hits closer to a realistic depiction of home will strike a positive remark. If Farcry will ever make a soviet themed story, be sure it will outclass Stalker

You have a good point. But you miss one important aspect, it is adventure feeling.. In FC4 you can find mask of yalung, mani wheel, ghaile book & take off the poster.. I just finish FC4 and I still did't play FC5 so I don't know so much about FC5.. but when you do the adventure in FC4 it so fun and interesthing. We can see a lot of amazing cave and adventure feeling is blow out.

@@shinjirarenai2139 Yeah !!! The protagonist in FC 5 was very dumb that he can't even talk a single word in the whole campaign. He'll do whatever he were told by other NPC's without questioning a thing. I didn't like that thing in FC 5 and division games.

I’ve never been huge into far cry but recently I played both 4 and 5 and I’m currently replaying 4 because I had so much fun. Far cry 4 is the first game I went for 100%

Far Cry 4 and 3 are absolutely fantastic. Never get tired of them :D

I love the way far cry 5 provides more customisation options and that it has planes and helicopters which were lacking in the previous games. Sure some features were removed like the skinning animation of animals, the grappling hook, etc but it's a good game and as a far cry fan I'd totally recommend it specially if you're looking for a decent experience

I have to say, I love how Far Cry 5 handles the story progression. It's an Open World Game about building resistance. The choice to let you do whatever you want while still making progress through resistance is great.

As an Indian I'm going with fc4. It isn't very often that you find languages other than English in video games. And in fc4, it was hindi, a language I understand very well which adds to a lot more fun. Like when you try to distract a royal army guard by throwing stone, he says "Bhenchod ye kya ho raha h" Also in shangri la where you can clearly interpret what the demons are saying

Far cry 5 is good, but FC4 will always be my favorite game in the series. It was the game that got me into FarCry, and it was the first game that I completed all the way through. And Pagan is arguably the best antagonist in the series, aside from the man Vaas

God these replies (bar MasterAssassin) aren't doing themselves any favours claiming that others are dumb using the English of a 5 year old.

The enemies in Far Cry 4 are a lot more diverse in weaponry and combat where 5 has certain guns and a lot of enemy skins

Don't forget the yeti and rideable elephants in fc4 Also the changing scenery from top to bottom of kyrat was much bigger than in fc5's 3 different areas

I love these videos, you're honestly pretty underrated

I loved the idea of Far Cry 5 so much and even bought the ultimate edition. The biggest let down was honestly the voiceless protagonist and how fucking stupid the AI are, it makes playing the game with just a bat or fists easy. Another huge let down was that there wasn’t more gore and they didn’t add the classic far cry takedowns with a knife

I don't know if it's just me, or did anyone else felt it. Kyrat location felt very engrossing. I felt like exploring it, going places all alone. Like going all alone in Kyrat like lonely backpacker

My biggest gripe with far cry 4 was how they implemented co-op, they fixed it in 5 but I wish they'd go back to 3&4 and allow full co-op of those games would make those two incredible games even better

I Played FC5 first and then 4. I personally liked 5's antagonists better.

@@turtleswag2193 Yeah, I hear you. I agree the Junior Deputy is not a good character. But I still really loved Joseph Seed and his family. They brought a level of characterization to Far Cry that made me engrossed.

I'd pass the gunplay and soundtrack to 4. The guns in that game sound way better and I liked the signature weapons!

The sadistic violence of the villains in Far Cry always costs them credibility points. In real life, unpredictable psychopaths would not come far, real dictators don't make their own hands bloody, they let their underlings do the dirty work. So if they just made more hints to violence in FC5 instead of showing torture victims all over the map, the hints of danger (like they did on the phone answering machines) would add much more to the inversive, realistic mood of this game. Making a boss villiain as crazy and sadistic as possible is a bit childish, so I wonder why they do it in a game series for grown ups. They missed the chance a bit with Joseph, but still he gets "better" during the game.

I love the open world in Far Cry 5. It’s awesome to be out in the wild in Montana. Wish we got a character that talked more, talked at all in the game.

Idk to me back in the day the thing was the game just felt like a re skinned FC3 with mountains and stuff , basically felt they were playing too safe . So I didn’t enjoy it that much . But in this pandemic I replayed it and realised it was good and finished the story some weeks ago .

Agreed and I honestly would take redlined fc3 a game everybody loved as opposed to Far Cry 5 where everything is dumbed down and mainstreamed.

As a whole i prefer far cry 4 but there is a lot of times where i wish i was playing far cry 5 instead, 5 is just a lot more fluid and effortless, the revamped climbing system is a very appreciated improvement, and the gameplay as a whole has been tweaked to be faster and less clunky

Man I've been to Montana already and I can assure you that in the scenery and the landscape of FC5 is spot on, but you can't compete with the beautiful and vertical Himalayan mountains. Great video btw, friend, loved the topics you brought to the table!

Far Cry 5, in my opinion, by far had the most compelling story. The side quests where often interesting and often multi-part, while FC4 had generic boring missions that repeated. The cult story's are just more interesting to me than the Kyrat story's. Loved both games tho.

I just started playing Far Cry 4 for the first time, and I actually kind of like Ajay If I had to compare him to an Assassin's Creed protagonist, which is what I'm more familiar with, I'd probably say I like Ajay as much as I like Connor, and I really like Connor

I'd only disagree on the point regarding side content. 4 may have more than 5, but the quality and context of each side thing on 5 was pure joy.

Nah far cry 5 all the way for me. I couldn't finish farcry 4 always got bored after an hour.

I believe side quests on far cry 5 were unfairly judged, as even if they are easier there are a crazy amount of things you can do, while far cry 4 has fun side missions, there is only a handful of missions types

I fell like far cry 6 is either going to be really good or really bad because Ubisoft is doing something very different this time around. Idk just my opinion

Far Cry 6 is very much ubisofts last chance with Far Cry to make significant changes to the core formula before fans just stop caring

Like I said in response to your community post, it comes down to what you like more. Far Cry 5 looks "good" and has more interactions such as the box trucks, flatbeds, Planes, Helicopters. And Far cry 4 is truthful to its roots.

Far Cry 5 is one of the best games in an artistic sense. The music is some of the best in any game ive played for a long time and the visuals of the forests and plains of montana juxtaposed with the violence of the cult is oddly beautiful. Had Ubisoft not made the main characters in the story have the personalities of wet napkins i might have enjoyed the main missions more.

The main reason why I like FC5 over FC4 is the arcade. FC5'S arcade feels like it has endless possibilities. You can basically make anything you want with enough creativity. BTW great video.

i killed him again after restarting the game and when he died i looked at his face for like 5 minutes until i found out he was wearing a wig then i completed the game but i didnt shoot so he left in heli and i thought i had to kill him so i restarted the mission and brought a rpg and shot it at his heli and got a really expensive pen.

Far cry 4 is by far the best game i have ever played, period, i remmember playing far cry 1 in 2014, and was blown away by the gameplay, but as a 13 fan of far cry when i played far cry 4, i was hooked imediatly, and its the only game in which i completed 4 times in 2 months, so it will forever have a place in my heart, and even in 2021 as a 14 year old, i still play it to this day, so with all the far cry games, expect blood dragon and 2.

can someone tell which track begins at 8.35? i have finished only 3 in the series which was a great game, played a lot of 4 but didn't finished it back in ps3, after this video i am interested in rebuying 4 and also retrying 5 as the constant enemy respawn killed the game for me, i checked ending for both games though as i didn't think i would be retrying them but now i will

fc4 also had enemy counter attacks on your liberated outposts, if you keep the fortresses around that is.

I have spent a lot of summers and falls in Montana, and here's the thing about your analysis of the Land Layout or Location choice for far cry 5. I was initially hyped when I heard it was Montana, because anyone who has actually been there can tell you that far cry 5 did not do it justice. Actual Montana is beautiful. Montana in far cry is empty and boring.

Im currently on Far Cry marathon :D Going to platinum/100% all FC games (except 2) in a row. Started from FC Classic and just finished FC 4. 3 to go. Great games and i don't think any of the FC games are bad since FC 2.

Never played Far cry before ,but bought FC 5 on sale back in 2019 ,didn’t really like it ,but picked it up a few weeks ago again ,and I really like it. And I’m thinking on getting FC 4 now instead of a pricier 6 (get that later on)

I preferred the blank slate so I could self insert as the deputy. Ajay was still cool and likeable but being able to customize my character’s clothes, race and gender does wonders for my own personal immersion.

What a bullshit. The customisation options were crap. You couldn't even modify the face, body type, shape. You only had a few predetermined faces to chose from and a few haircuts thats it. I'd take a well writen and voice-acted protagonist over a mute blank slate nobody customizable vessel any day.

I don't fully get why people are so against the kidnap missions in farcry 5 ( besides it happening maybe too much and being a bit intrusive at times to some ). I actually love it. I like trying to dodge the cultists trying to take you for as long as possible and just making it harder for them. Car chases, shooting down their planes, fleeing into the woods. Its a cool but not fully realized idea

I never played any of the FC games. fc4 is 11$ right now so I bought it. Now I'm definitely looking forward to playing it lol

When I got fc5 it was the best game I had ever played and made me buy fc4 and new dawn. So after completing fc5 I went and switched to fc4 and to me, fc4 is just so boring and repetitive. There is lots of empty space in both games but I feel like fc5 s empty space is more fun and interesting. Don’t hate, it’s just my opinion.

Ye i just brought fc5 on summer sale for £7. Never played any of them before. Played about 3 hours of fc5 and im loving it so far. Dont know if i should get fc3 and fc4 while its on sale.
