what about watch dogs legion they added Aiden, Jackson Pearce and Wrench on the dlc pack. So Aiden, Jackson Pearce and Wrench is better then Joseph, John, Jacob, faith and ethan seed. Watch dogs map sizes is bigger then far cry new dawn map sizes i like the police in watch dogs so more realistic.

The one main thing i hate in all Farcry games is when u shoot an enemy from afar with a sniper the enemy knows where u are almost immediately...even if im in a bush or cover.

I learned a thing or two from my experience as a sniper in games which is to relocate after you've shot a bullet and missed it or alerted someone else after missing the shot, wait for them to come out and start their search for you. That is the momemt where they are divided and from your new position you can take them out pretty quick if you can control your aim well. In far cry 5 though if i had to use a sniper I'd need to go somewhere on top of a small tower in order to take out the peggies but you can pull it off even if you're not on the top... Depends on your skills

@@alexngaihte4073 For the most part I agree. Just for a piece of humor, though, when I played FC3 the first time I got the AMR about the time I first got to the southern island. At that point I not only hadn't done an outpost undetected but had blown the alarm every time and was a bit disgruntled. Since I had the AMR thought I'd see what it can do. Outpost just south of where you arrive on island has a cliff a half mile or so from base. Climbed it, sighted and shot the two guards I could see. More came boiling out of the outpost so I kept shooting. Long story short, got the last of them and the fort undetected. First time undetected. By accident. Go figure.

Have you played Far Cry 2? The AI has much more realistic logic when it comes to locating snipers and if your cover is good enough, like a rock or dense enough bush the AI wont find you, instead they will hide.

If Ubisoft sold new Dawn as a far cry 5 dlc It would be an stunning dlc

I always thought they could’ve done better with the zombie dlc and instead made it so during Joseph’s arrest at the beginning, a zombie outbreak happened instead, and the officers and Eden’s gate would have to fight to reclaim Hope County from the Undead. I know a lot of people wished there was a “join cult option” so I feel like that would’ve been the best of both worlds. Better Zombie DLC expansion where you join the cult

i agree there are some situations where i’m behind cover but not enough and it allows the enemy to hit me behind cover i feel like being able to prone would solve that but at the same time also help speed up the game by allowing you to not die in most situations where you normally would and i feel like it could disrupt the pacing

For those on pc, the Resistance mod brings back knife takedowns from previous far crys. Will have new dawn takedowns ported soon as well.

Well it's just matter of preference. I like both takedowns. In my opinion, the stomping/neck snapping takedown is still brutal even if they took out the knife.

Far Cry 5 is great because of the freedom you have(besides when you get taken by one of the siblings and there’s nothing you can do about it), and the way it really immerses you. The stealth is so much more fun with the more realistic environment, and also the way it just feels so real with you being able to hear the cult members talking and the music playing in the distance, along with being able to hear the people talking at different locations is just really cool. Also not to mention it has a great soundtrack.

Imo they ruined stealth in fc5. I cant tell you exactly how they ruined it but throughout my first playthrough of fc5 I forgot the rock mechanic even existed and only realised it on my second playthrough although I still only used it a couple of times. In fc3 and 4 I used rocks to distract enemies every time Edit: now that I think about it, in fc3 and 4 there was always 1 enemy in anothers line of sight forcing you to distract them but in 5 the way they patrolled the outposts allowed you to take each enemy out without needing to distract them and still not be detected

I just started New Dawn and am loving it so far. Played 5 first and this seems a well done sequel. I thought I'd be put off by the "pops of color" in the graphics, but no. They make perfect sense and are well integrated. I really like the urban vibe of the outposts, hip-hop music, and characters. The motorcycles and gear, too. It all fits. Post apocalypses' Montana sure feels boosted. I also like the familiar gameplay and weapons. Both are the same and different at the same time. Its a lot of fun and the game looks great!

Unpopular opinion but farcry 5 is my favorite farcry, I found the gunplay much more satisfying and absolutely loved having the game set in Montana (granted I’m a passionate hunter and fisherman with a bias towards places like Montana)

As someone whose first exposure to Far Cry series is 5, I really really love the game.

I think the plot of Farcry 5 is amazing. That's something that has happened in real life in multiple situations. Ruby Ridge(similar but not a cult). Waco. Farcry 5 is the first farcry game I ever played and I was instantly hooked. Now am playing 4 and I'm even more hooked. Will go to 3 next and then New Dawn and then 6.

Ngl I love just driving through Far Cry 5's open world after a stressful day at work. Not even shooting. But just driving is so nice.

I know I'm late but I'll say this much man dispite the fact that you're comparing what's technically a stand alone expansion for the game with the fully fledged title but one thing I did find interesting especially earlier in the video is how almost evenly matched they'd been. I feel it says alot about the development of the farcry series as a whole

What I loved most about 5& new dawn was that you could actually use your hands to takedown someone unlike the other games which require a knife and the fact the you could have both a animal and human companion unlike 2,3,4,and especially 6 which only allows animal companion

As much as FC5 lacked weapon variety, if it was your first game, then it doesn't seem that bad, and I didn't really care whether I had a blade or not, some people love the beat the hell out of people takedowns. I did, running up to someone and kicking them just to spin around and snap their neck is sickest move you can do. Shows how stupidly powerful you are despite the fact you're barely geared.

I love the soundtrack of fc5, especially the loading screen music of jacob and faith and also the outpost liberation music. The best soundtrack for me is Oh john and only you..

I loved the expeditions in new dawn, the main map might be smaller but the few maps from expeditions are kinda expanding it, alcatraz, aircraft carrier, amusement park and other maps are a good price for a big chunk of just forest and same locations

Far cry 5 holds a special place in my heart because it is actually the first far cry game I played, but the islands and Himalayas were calling and I had to answer.

Loved both game’s soundtracks, especially New Dawn’s. Just the main menu track is so good.

Also let's not forget the arcade editor. If u get bored in main campaign. Then u will lots of fun in arcade. Playing maps made my players that takes place in different environments and slightly different gameplays. I also made my own map called "Operation Pacific" on PS4. Your goal is to take over a sea base and the 2 guard posts. You can do both detected and undetected methods. On alarm, there is so many coming then. So the detected method is not like too quick. Again the arcade is a big point for me to FC5

Dude the sound track is so oddly beautiful in the way it matches the vibe of the whole game.

i really enjoyed the return of joseph and the introduction to the twins in far cry new dawn, it has the really good villain from far cry 5 at his best plus the twins and i was really sucked into the story

5 was probably amongst the best. mostly because the antagonists are way better than previous. I see no Interesting parts in Vaas no More, I realised when comparing the stories, that Vaas really lacks personality. He still is better than Micky and Lou for nostalgic reasons.

I like how in 5 the news on the radio actually foreshadows one of the endings

FarCry five, especially with the DLC’s has plenty of content to be worth whatever price tag it’s currently at. The story also has a captivating antagonist. However i feel like far cry new dawn was more fun despite lacking the amount of content and the fleshed out story as it’s predecessor. Both games were pretty solid. Purely out of personal bias I’d say New Dawn is a better experience

yeah, the far cry 5 soundtrack is amazing! Still have and listen to "now that this old world is ending" on my spotify playlist. The song is just beautiful and gives me chills!

That would be easy, but throughout the game you find dead bodys on the side of the road, and on signs/billboards. That is not even close to something a good guy would do... And Faith was an innocent 17 year old girl who Joseph kidnapped and manipulated... And Joseph murdered his newborn daughter

I wish the resistance points were greater in Far Cry 5, or maybe the cutscenes happened more as you got closer to the end. Felt like I progressed very quickly in the first two hours.

Yeah i wanted the game to be way longer too After you take out the 3 siblings I was 100% expecting a 4th zone to have to complete for the main villain instead of going right into the last battle They definitely should have done that and then maybe for a 5th zone in the far south region they should have put a whole buncha outposts an side quests full of cultists that would try an take over for the seeds unless you wipe them out too with like a hidden boss

I honestly like the protagonist being silent and not having a backstory other than their job.

Not that I've noticed... In new dawn if the mag has ammo in it the hands switch out the mag for a fresh one. That looks like you're pocketing the mag. When the mag is empty... the hands throws away the mag, completely... base game does not do that. And I've yet seen a fps that doesn't auto fill a mag. Which is nothing more than magic. Or pump a shotgun that has an unspent round in the chamber, already....

The double jump let's you jump or fall from any hight and land safe as long you press the jump button before you hit the ground. Even from an air drop. Hey, check out Homefront: The Revolution. A very underrated game.

Oh man just started Far Cry 5 and the soundtrack is phenomenal and after I got hanged in the game and went to speak to “Dutch” and heard “Where did you Sleep Last Night” on the record player awesome man The story looks fantastic too

Both are great games but there is one major flaw in New Dawn, the weapon system. They should’ve kept the weapon system the way it was in 5 but with a few changes since it’s a new game

Nah new dawn is exaggerated and too small far cry 5 is better

I just wish you had access the the whole farcry 5 make in farcry new dawn because their are some places I wanted to see but couldn’t from it being in a radiation zone or something.

The soundtrack in Far Cry 5 made me excited to go to the church every weekend

The problems with the main character in Far Cry 5 is that they're left so open to interpretation that there's a high chance you'll be disappointed with what they end up as in Far Cry New Dawn

What do you think about doing a deep dive on the level design and exploration of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided?

Just bought that game on playstation for $4.50. I'd watch that video also

I loved the settlement upgrade feature on Far Cry New Dawn it felt like you was apart of a community and it was good going back there after missions to upgrade. I didn't like Far Cry 5 just didn't seem like fun. I'll have to try and give it another shot, but Far Cry 6 is coming out soon so I don't think I'll bother lol

You are truly missing out on a great game. Far Cry 5 is my favorite and I never thought they would beat 3 for my favorite Far Cry. Give it a chance and I guarantee you will like it as much if not better than 6 which is amazing as well.

I think Far Cry 6 is better than 4 and 5. I hated 5 though only one I could never finish.

Far Cry 5 is my favorite out of the 1s I've played truthfully, I'm enjoying New Dawn but some of the missions are ridiculously hard, also you said FC New Dawn was too short but technically it's just a DLC of sorts usually DLCs aren't super longs at least not in my experience.

I love Far Cry 5 and New Dawn but I'm just a little impatient about weapons upgrades Far Cry 5 but you have to work for what you want. In New Dawn it does get a little aside itself with the supernaturalism and the Mickey & Lou characters I wish were tools under somebody else instead of the main villains but it's just a game and it's still fun.

hey man i really love your videos but i have a small suggestions, in the graphics point sometimes these games are old and sometimes they are new so sometimes its not really fair for the older game, (ITS JUST A SUGGESTION NO HATE)

Well the series is designed around helping people decide which game to buy and a lot of people care about graphics. And it’s usually fine because whichever game wins graphics usually loses performance so it evens out

Loved the guns in far cry new dawn, both looks and how there janky repairs and rust effected how they operated

I am playing through 5 and I totally LOVE it! It has a few issues but so far I am loving it. Joseph Seed is one of the few villians that I can sympathize with even if I wanna kill him. The scene where he explains about his wife and daughter shocked me to my core. It's also one of the few games that made me laugh till I couldn't breath ( the car ride with Hurk Drubman Jr 🤣🤣🤣). Overall, one of my favorite games!

Fun fact, first time I played New Dawn I had no idea about the new abilities 🤷🏼‍♂️ Didn't even know I had them

FC5 was my first FC game and I loved it. I’m a huge Zelda and RDR fan so brining open world, first person shooter and Midwest all together just made it a great game. And Joseph was great like a lot of times I was like damn am I the bad guy but then see what he would do would change my mind. I just started FC ND and what I miss is how like in a region in FC5 you would work your way up to to fighting like John and during that they’d kidnap you and you got a great cutscene and mission to complete. That doesn’t happen in New Dawn and I wish it did

Cool vid, but does anyone remember the treasure hunt where you had to kill cheeseburger? The name of it was For whom the bear tolls.

Yes there was different mechanics to unlock guns then buy them BUT the perks like chain takedown was always a perk and the part system is the same thing throughout every game

After finally playing both I think 5 is a bit better, but both honestly are phenomenal.

Far cry new dawn felt like a far cry version of rage 2

far cry 5 had amazing soundtrack when you open the map the song was relaxing who agrees

I kind of thought Far Cry New Dawn was harder with stealth. There is no longer a customization menu for your weapons so you can't just put a supressor on everything you use to shoot the alarms out so you actually have to carefully plan a route by circling the area and looking at NPC routes. I'm more of a get in and fuck shit up kinda guy so realizing that I couldn't just use a supressor on the alarms in New Dawn became a small challenge.

While I disagreed with some of your comparisons, I’d like to mention that I found every location in FC5 to be unique and different. And that annihilated repetition for me.

With G Far cry new dawn I found the colours and special powers were making it more like borderlands not far cry

I dont know why but i love rpg elements in non rpg games. For me, when i get a level up for a skill. It just feals right

Farcry 5 had more main enemies like joseph, jacob(my favorite main enemy), faith, john and each one was in a different region and also they had your friends captured but farcry new dawn only had the twins who were always together and they were only in one region

Farcry 5 is quite good and new dawn is like an extensive dlc to pick up on discount

Far cry 5 was great and it had a masterpieces villain and a perfect presentation and atmosphere ,new dawn too Thanks for the video Review AC REVELATIONS if you can

@@flashroyal9933 they were super inconsistent like if u try to stealth half the time one spots you from like 300m away and everyone gets alerted instantly

Five was very fun and clean looking. Far cry 3 was great on its own. They both offer a different experience . They are different game’s different themes and story’s. Can’t have vass in every game. I do wish we could’ve getton more of the seed family. Like they could’ve made so much more out of them.
