Road checkpoints and AAs are the bane of my existence, checkpoints are just annoying, they aren't hard but there's so many of them. Meanwhile AA guns, if you are at any good altitude and fly into that one AA you forgot to take out, it's over

I really wish I had it recorded, but I got a kill in Far Cry 5 that I still remember today. Had one of those planes that randomly patrols around spot me and start a diving run on me, machine guns blazing. I had a sniper with armour piercing rounds equipped. Took aim, fired one shot into the cockpit, nailed the pilot with a headshot, the plane whizzed over my head and crashed into the trees behind me. Didn’t even see it happen, just stood completely still after the shot. Never felt more badass in any video game before or since.

That’s part of the reason my typical loadout always consists of a sniper rifle in that game. That and long range accuracy.

I always wondered if the npcs are walking the specific path or they go or rather spawn randomly. I used to do those stealth outposts in Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5. It's so damn hard if you want to make it look cool and almost like a game trailer. Some of the ncps were in the right place but it only took one npc that was in a different position to ruin the whole clip. I could get the perfect path probably 1 out of 10 tries. Also I got inspired by Clockner or StealthGamer, I was in the exact same spawn yet it didn't work. If any of you outpost pros have any advice I'd highly appreciate it. It's such a fun. Aspecially in Far Cry 5. Btw I loved the vid. All these guys were amazing to watch.

Bro it aint hard, far cry 5 is one of the easiest stealth games i've ever played, to iterate, enemy have really bad sight and ears, just gi around the outpost and take targets that are isolated (there are always a number) and that creates a path, is like sudoku, if you want to do what they are doing in the videos you have to practice one camp and just remember enemy positions, other than that try to be creative, the best thing i saw was the far cry 4 c4 car launch, that was really fucking creative Also orher games that offer more variety have even more to show off (cyberpunk or dishonored for example)

Man, I love 5 and I love being stealthy and sniping from a distance but I can not imagine doing some of these kills, especially the ones of firing or throwing a weapon into the air and hitting an enemy.

I still think FC4 had some of the best outposts, just so random, especially the fortresses. That being said, they're all really good. Resetting the Outposts on FC5 and rolling though them in a night or 2 is just therapeutic, haha. Just give myself random rules to follow to make it harder. I've turned off tagging all together and I'll limit myself to a specific weapon or 2. Helps keep it interesting 🙃

Not only that, but the enemy would frequently attempt to recapture outposts you liberated, & if you didn't respond to the defend the outpost call... they would sometimes get recaptured, & you had to liberate them again. I wish they kept that in the other FCs

@OOTurok yeah.. it was a mechanic that actually made sense and could build some tension. Those Shangri-la missions were something special, too, and not easy.

I started playing farcry late af and played farcry 4 in 2019. Had like 2 other farcrys after that, but within those couple years I was g at this game. I miss it so much. Now I have to worry about life and don't have time to enjoy my games and stuff that makes me happy. I hope one day I can have me peace with games again. Where it doesn't feel like I'm wasting time as an adult.

Amazing skill... but still showcased my frustration with the limited range of awareness for npcs. Firing off a machine gun should alert people for miles, let alone the dudes 200 ft away on tower.

I wish i still had the video but i was playing farcry 4 and, while heading to my destination, i hit a sambar. And around the next corner i hot a bear. And a little forthwr down the road, a tiger is chasing a bahral across the road and i hit the tiger. Keep driving and eventually top a hill and see 5 enemies standing around a truck in the road. They notice me and start running for cover. I tried to run a couple over but did not expect to kill all 5 by accidentally drifting over them all at the same time. I hopped out of the car and started looking around ready for a fight and they were all dead

I really wish I had recorded mine. I was playing far cry 5 and I accidentally pressed the button to jump out of my plane. I didn’t have a parachute unlocked yet so I just accepted the death. I landed on a completely random cultist and it performed the death from above takedown. Maybe I should try to recreate it.
