I enjoyed far cry 5 more. It's hilarious the stuff that happens when you just stand there. A cougar chasing a deer causes an all out war between cultists, bears, rebels, and then an attack helicopter looses control for no reason because a wolverine is spotted. It felt like non stop riot mode. I also enjoyed how your guns for hire had randomized names with some pretty decent AI. They were smart enough for car convoys, helicopters, and made battles more fun. I don't get why they removed it.

My favorite part were the helicopters losing vontrol because of a wolverine. It happened to me once and chaos unfolded afterwards

The rocket launcher back pack is just stupid. Everything felt generic, annoying travelling, and you can't compare the older game mechanics, it's feels wrong to berate your father bc he isn't "cool" like you. Plus, I hate the gunplay.

I was thinking the same thing. Both games are cool but I felt like far cry 6 was cartoonish and like a kids play toy… fun but not realistic. But the gritty realistic gameplay and story of far cry 5 takes the title of the better game for me.

There were so many ground breaking things that was done in farcry 5...maybe not in terms of gameplay or development, but the way the story played out was pure genius, to me its one of the best games ever.

The gameplay is seriously unmatched for me, I cannot think of any game as chaotically stupid as 5, while there's no bullet pen other than 50 BMG (nice guns Ubisoft) the weapons, the takedowns and all are unbelievably addicting, the game has its issues but if it was the only game I had I'd never walk away.

For me the story was the biggest downgrade from Far Cry 4, if for no other reason than it forcing itself on you. I usually want to just goof around and do whatever I want wandering the country side and then before long I've been mandated to kill one of Joseph's lieutenants and the region is cleared out. It also just felt generally too short.

@@Dik_in_mouth Funny timing, i'm actually replaying FC5 RN and exactly like I said the game feels like it's super short. Just now I got out of the first mission for John Seed, I liberate two outposts, and I'm already remarked for capture. Plus the missions are *terrible*! They're incredibly short and the most "story" is you getting face to face with a crazy guy for 2 minutes then just shooting your way to freedom. In Far Cry 3 the story was about slowly realizing you're crazy just like all the villains, and it was told through lots of incredible moments like Jason having to tell people about Grant's death, at the start he can barely choke it out and by the end he coldly tells his brother after sticking his thumb in a bullet hole to torture him for his cover. Meanwhile in Far Cry 5 it's like "my mommy hit me so now I like torturing people!" "I ate someone in Iraq to survive so now I'm a crazy darwinist!" it's awful, like an edgy 15 year old wrote the story without even kind of understanding why the other games worked so well.

The deputy does actually speak, when you catch a fish they'll say "yea"

You are absolutely right..

My main problem with far cry 6 was the open world, yea they added a lot of new stuff to do but the everything was so spaced out that I ended up fast traveling everywhere and couldn’t explore Yara to its limit’s. There was next to no incentive to walking around because hunting was worthless and finding things was impossible because of the scale of the map.

They’re doing the same thing with the new assassins creed games too, odyssey’s towns and cities were gorgeous but riding your horse for 20 minutes across some plains and small camps with the same 3 objectives was a bore to get through

In far cry 6 when you liberate an outpost or camp it not very wow but in far cry 5 the cutscenes and the music really makes you think you truly liberated an outpost

I could give the win to FC5 based on the soundtrack alone. The in game music and the loading screen music. And don’t get me started on that perfect banjo theme in the main menu/viewing your map.

Thats one thing about FC6 it didn't have that great soundtrack throughout the whole story and menu

For me getting pulled into certain parts of 5 like culling the herd added to the immersion. You’re in an area that’s completely controlled by the cult, it’s reasonable to assume they would catch you off guard and when you’re least expecting it. I understand the annoyance of getting pulled away from a mission but that’s what made it so great, that the villains had that much power in the region

Yea I liked it, the missions were pretty good. People are too used to be the “main character” and be so strong. In far cry 5 you actually felt powerless at times (especially the ending), I loved that. I also loved that that crazy Joseph was right all along, if you think about it; what did he ever do to you? He never actually tried killing you. But you as the player didn’t think about this and kept trying to murder everyone, if anything you were the villain 😂. Oh my I really loved that game…

I just find 5 more engaging. I like watching actual characters try their best to stop you rather than planks of wood that you need to overcome. Also the gunplay still has me coming back. Bullet time especially. Nothing like hearing a thump of a .50 cal hitting a target 100 yards away and knowing you had to adjust for drop and time

After playing Far Cry 6 I appreciate Far Cry 5 even more

Far cry 5 still has the best sound track in the series

and far cry 5 have more good side character then far cry 6 far cry 5 have hurk sharky father Jerome nick ray boomer and the only good side character in far cry 6 are Juan and al Tegry

I just think the overall premise of 5 is better. The whole “What is the player’s motivation?” is way clearer in 5 in that all your fellow deputies and the marshall have been kidnapped by cultists. Plus the fact that it’s clear from the opening cutscene exactly why you are in Hope County to begin with. In 6 you have no real personal reason to be invested, other then “Oh no he shot up our boat and almost drowned me”. I get that it’s Dani’s home country but the dynamic between her and Anton isn’t even as good as the one between Joseph Seed and a mute protagonist.

@@pmbbmp but the protagonist personally is that motivated in fc6. In fc3 , riley had all his friends and brother kidnapped by vaas, he rescues them one by one. It was a tension in the story ,riley was running out of time. Also there were mythology in fc3,same with fc4 with shangri la stuff. Those games were more darker than fc5 & fc6.

@@TheNumbardar128 far cry 4 had a very litte motivation for overthrowing a ruler.... There was no reason for him to fight when he could just stay with pagan and get the job done with .... Far cry 3 had motivation but he loses that halfway through but was still murdering people even after saving all of his friends... Far cry 5 was more darker than any other game because the main villain was not just a dictator but he was manipulating people in the name of God.. Cultist were thinking that they were doing good deeds while they were were killing innocents... And far cry 6 had the least motivation in the series but it was more than far cry 4...

I love controlled chaos especially when I'm the one in control. Bullet sponge enemies don't make the game harder, just more annoying.

Far cry 5’s atmosphere definitely makes it my favorite game in the series.

I really loved Montana in Farcry 5. The preppers theme, the variety of animals ( because the region), and the creepy cult story line. Farcry 6 (to me ) had better game play and gun play but it looks really blurry on series x ( real turn off to me). Still a good game

Honestly I liked the pacing of 5 way better. The capture moments I actually liked, especially in Jacob’s region. 6 stagnates too much I think, it gets boring after awhile which I never felt in 5

I agree with almost all of your points, yet I enjoy Far Cry 5 way more. I can play that game over and over again, both the setting and the world building are amazing, the story and the characters are very catchy and quite interesting... the exploration, the companions, the crafting, everything in the way it is set, somehow, makes a better game than all the positives of Far Cry 6.

I'm Asain and I feel insulted that Ajay just blindly follows orders compared to Jason, Rook, or Dani, and I love Kyrat.

I actually disagree on the ‘boss meter’ filling up and leading toward forced encounters. I actually felt that was more immersive. It made what would usually be mundane side content all feel like part of the story. Nothing was a waste of time because it all was leading you toward the next encounter when you caused enough trouble for the boss of that area. Also, off topic, but in New Dawn I loved the risk and reward system of being able to choose to redo a base, at a harder difficulty, to try and get more resources. Both aspects I had hoped would make it to 6, but both were abandoned.

My issue was with them hijacking you from doing dun stuff to make you go through a mission you simply didn't choose. Especially when its done MULTIPLE TIMES. Once or twice would have ben fine like in Far Cry 3

My only gripe about the forced encounters is that they were telegraphed and too short. It should've happened at random with at least 8 checkpoints per region. Imagine getting past the first three, thinking everything is fine, so you raid one more outpost, then boom. Welcome to The Bliss.

I liked the resistance metre because it made the enemies feel like they had agency and would come to you, rather than every other open world where everyone just exists waiting for you to come to them and activate the plot, my only beef with it was that it was a bit too fast buuuut I play on PC so I just slowed it down with a mod and bingo... fantastic game.

No matter what Far Cry 5 has the best soundtrack in the whole series.

Cheeseburger and peaches imo is a GOATED combo. I litterally just send them both into an outpost and theyll kill everybody. Cheesy boi draws focus so enemies shoot him more, and he has so much health, meanwhile peaches can just zip from person to person and do a takedown on them, even when theyre shooting at her. Ive cleared so many outposts by just sending them in and watching the chaos unfold lol

I think far cry 5 was really great, it's story was way more unique than a generic "south america revolution against a dictator" and I really enjoyed it. And those loading screen songs are just magnifico.

Joseph was a piece of shit, his family were pieces of shit, you didn't even had a damn character, and the whole story was "grind boss of the territory and get kidnaped a doesen times because yes, we are that lazy". If you like to eat shit - that's your right, but please, don't come close to the people while you're doing it. Also, Castillio is a far better written character that all of Seed's shitty family combined. At least with him I can see what drives him, understand his motives and he is played by a goddamn Giancarlo Esposito. While the only reason people like that poor excuse of a Jared Leto Joseph is because he is yet another cheep Vaas knockoff and running around shirtless half a time. Joseph Seed is a compelling antagonist because he was a legit prophet and that creates so many questions. Did God want him to do what he did? Did he misread the signs? Did he corrupt the message? Were you supposed to walk away the whole time? Anton is just another evil twat.

Honestly, I see a lot of your points but I think less is more for games like this. 6 has too many RPGish mechanics and 5 has a better story, side characters and other such things which I personally think is super important.

I just installed FC5 yesterday and played a couple hours. I'm playing on Xbox series s and I'm loving it. The plot to it is super interesting to me. The graphics are amazing. The sandbox to play in is amazing, but a lot of open sandbox type games get too distracting for me to keep focused. ....not FC5. This is a game I'll most likely actually play all the way through. Kudos Ubisoft

I gotta say, seeing your protagonist is pretty cool, but first person cutscenes are way more immersive and puts you in the story more effectively

It was jarring to see how other characters talk to u and then respond back when ur character didn’t say shit. Ubisoft can’t pull of mute characters like the folks from metro did. Even tho artyom was mute he still felt like he had a personality.

I prefer Far Cry 5. Far Cry 5 was the first game in the series I played and it was awesome. The opening scene where you’re trailing 20 ft behind your team to confront Joseph Seed was very well done. From that point on I was drawn in and very few games have had that effect on me. My big complaint about 5 was the pacing which you brought up. Right now I’m about three hours into 6 and I jumped back to 5. Also, the Arcade mode and level editor was a awesome addition to 5.

@@pun7659 Well why? Haven't finished primal but during my play through of 5 I can't even find what's mean to be praiseworthy. Considering the massive drop off in quality across the entire gaming industry I'm pretty over the idea that we should all just consider this a matter of pure subjective taste. Was being tied to a chair with duct tape and almost tortured for 2 minutes before running through a bunker shooting gallery more impactful than a fully fleshed out story with some point to make and craft and care put into telling it?

Strange how far cry 6 should be better than 5, but almost everyone including me prefers 5.

The guns for hire/beasts for hire takes a massive dub over the amigos they don’t even have humans nor do they revive you

I preferred FC5 over FC6, FC6 bullet sponges that keep spawning, FC5 set amount of enemies in one location such as the location check points your capturing . FC5 I have completed twice, FC6 I haven't finished yet because I lost interest. So for me FC5 is a much better story, with much better bosses, and at the end , I actually felt that my character, the deputy was the bad guy. FC6 I did not enjoy the apparently magic clothing that give you stat boost ( Like , Straight out of Division 2, and there magic armour, which you need for the unrealistic bullet sponges) You get in FC6 and the Division, typical Ubisoft.

I'm feeling the same. I got far cry 6 for Christmas and I've been playing it but it just doesn't feel as interesting to me as far cry 5. And I hate the stupid rpg bullet sponge stuff too

In my opinion the clothing changing your stats is a good thing because it allows you to be more strategic and Division 1 was a great game the bullet sponges where only really in division 2 and yes I agree in farcry6 the enemies body shots where bullet sponges but the headshot where one shot kills

I've played every Farcry since 2. I love the constant interaction with the villains, they always cast the best actors, and write very interesting characters. In Farcry 5 there was A TON of interaction with the antagonists, whether it be the main one Joseph, or John Faith or Jacob, they were all very well written and interesting. Same with Farcry 3, the constant interaction with Vaas was insanely entertaining. I played about 7 hours of Farcry 6, and it just didn't do it for me. I barley saw the antagonist, the main character bored me greatly, the environment was the same as 3, but lesser, the weapons looked clumsy and old (I know that was the idea), the graphics looked like a cartoon. All those things together just killed the experience for me, I actually re installed 5 and played through it again, because it was that much better.

I constantly return to 4 and 5. Replaying three now. 4 always freezes on my system which sucks cuz it’s probably my favorite. 5 had too many enemies pop up randomly.

I've actually redownloaded 5 as well and have 3 and 4 on ps3 wanna do there platinums on 3 already have them on 4. For far cry 5 i just feel like its better in alot of ways besides the main chatacter i like female dani alot actually. The deputy is still great but without a voice its just meh

My favorite of the series was farcry 2 I know it's not a favorite of many. But the enemies seemed smarter and not like a bunch of idiots. I remember one time having a firefight with about 8 enemies and dropping a couple and watching the others surround them while the others pulled them to safety. And running to cover and try and flank you. It did have its ups and downs but the gameplay and story were phenomenal.

I’ve just bought 5 after being a longtime fan of the franchise I haven’t been into gaming for a while but got back into last few years It’s so refreshing playing Farcry 5 just after playing any COD game! Love FPS open world games like this and RD etc

it was pretty close for me to but one of the tiebreakers was far cry 6's setting, i love it when a far cry takes place in a unique tropical environment

Farcry 5 felt more tactical for me, I loved the fact you could put a suppressor on almost every single gun, also sneaking up on cultists and hitting em in the back of the head with a baseball bat was extremely satisfying and never got old even tho I missed knife takedowns maybe if they added more weapons for melee combat and different takedown animations for different melee weapons prolly would have made it so much better

Your second point about Rook and Seed and how the lines are blurred by the end is the character arch of Rook. Everything Rook experiences changes them. That and you can literally get better and progress in 5 unlike 6 were you just are what you’re wearing at the time

Far Cry 5 is all around better, it just feels good. The whole silent main character thing I love, it puts me in the game more. The characters all had soul and spoke to most Americans and modern rural people. 6 feels like chaos gun play.

Thats largely why i love 6, gameplay of it is way better than any far cry due to wider selection of vehicles (they finally added tanks and did them way better than just cause or gta). But i also love the tropical map that also brings fc3 nostalgia but even without is beautiful, fc5 map i didn't like much because its too similar to my country irl so the setting is boring, except it has more hills, climate is basically same. And i love guns in fc6 more, sure like in fc5 they have multiple versions of the same gun but at least the stats are different, theres different amount of upgrade slots and theres less of them. How many flamethrowers and 1911 and assault rifles does fc5 have with nothing being different besides the paint? Just add it as a paint job option ffs, not as a different weapon, the models are literally the same, even the stats

I’ll give 6 the better weapon variety and I liked the added in capital city. But otherwise it’s 5 for me.

My problem with far cry 6’s setting is that it felt TOO much like other games in the genre, and in far cry specifically. Going to a tropical island for the third time in one series was a bit much. Not only that, the setting seemed almost identical to Just Cause 3 in some aspects. The colors, settings, enemies, and such seem identical to JC3, just not as well executed

For me is wasn't location, it was the fact that far cry 5 and 6 were pretty much the same game with just 4 major differences. The playable area (no shit lol), 6 added horses, 6 added tanks and 6 also added stupid enemy types (Hollows good for skin, armor peircing for heavys) if far cry 5 had the guns, horses and tanks from far cry 6, I honestly would've never bought 6. Honestly kinda wish I wouldn't have bought 6.

5 as a really good landscape design for hunting and 6 I love everything about it the fishing and hunting is really good the bad guys are always around when you complete the game it feels a live all the time

nice video, you should do all far cry games comparing to each other to see which one is the best. Starting from Far Cry 3

Its like both games are the better halves of one another, with there are some features in 5 I wished we had in 6 and vice versa.

I actually thought the ammo types were a detriment to the game, it was like you needed many different ammo types to actually be effective because using the wrong ammo turned your gun into a pea shooter. This was only compounded by the fact that you needed a workbench to change out ammo as well as the fact that standard ammo was totally useless. It was a little immersion breaking to shoot a guy 80 times just to see his health bar has barely been depleted

For me I used armor piercing and standard ammo rounds. It got me through the game on action mode. I didnt find myself using poison,fire or soft because I felt like I was shooting nerf darts at unarmored soldiers

Armor piercing is essentially the top dog. It’ll take out most enemies with one shot to the head. My opinion is just ignore all the other ammo types and use armor piercing.

Far Cry 5, and New Dawn definitely keep me coming back to experience the Seed family. They set a high bar for having grey motivations and felt really human.

While I’ve enjoyed both games, one thing that’s stopped me completely from playing far cry 6 is the stealth. I love the stealth in far cry games. So open ended and so many opportunities to do what you want. That stand true for far cry 6, but the enemy respawning bug/feature ruined that for me. I dunno whether it is actually a feature of the game or not but it just completely ruined the game for me for the time being. So my preferred game has definitely gotta be far cry 5

For me

The insta-kidnapping dream sequences ruined 5 for me. You were always forced to move on with the main missions whether you wanted to or not. Feels like you have far more freedom in 6 as you are not being forced.

I prefer FC5, but I agree. There were other ways they could have gotten the character into those situations without ninja master mobs.

What makes me feel so weird on how time flies by is I remember watching the one Dev play some of Farcry 5 with like the red uzi or whatever and seeing a bunch of KZreadrs react to it and that was like a year maybe a half of a year before the game released and now it’s been years

Btw ammo types was in Far Cry 5 too. But great video.

FC5 felt like it could actually happen irl, Joseph Seed was an amazing villian imo.

I played Far Cry 6. First Far Cry game I’ve ever played and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Finished the game and most of the side quests on Saturday and I started to play far Cry 5. I feel like the character that you play in 6 is more engaging in terms of dialogue where as in 5, the character barely even grunts. Although we have amigos in 6, I really like the fact that you can actually recruit people to follow you around on missions and give them commands in 5. I wish they would have implemented this feature into 6. Other than I enjoy the 6th game and I’m also enjoying number 5.

The coolest was Jacob Seed in my opinion. Especially the brainwashing sequence. There's a literal 20 minute video essay on KZread about those missions and how they don't just brainwash the character, but actually the player too. It's a really cool 4th wall break in the gameplay/story that I haven't seen in any other game.

Far cry 5s Joseph seed worked so well, the cutscenes were awesome, the black background, him staring you in the eyes. I loved it, honestly felt like he was talking to you. The lines well delivered so well and didn’t feel forced.

now we want farcry 6 vs 3 and 4😎

Im a die hard Far Cry 5 fan, just seeing some of the slogans on billboards gives me goosebumps. I loved the creepiness and all, ive just finished 6 and it was a good game, but for me Far Cry 5 is better. I liked that Far Cry 6 had a lot of new features but they werent that ground braking, plus they also deleted a lot of features i loved. Like crafting more holsters, and the whole skill tree.

I think the biggest difference was the amount of focus on the good guys this game. They felt like characters (even if they were all tired cliches) more than the allies in far cry 5 who were distinctly less present. And Anton and co were just not present for the majority of the game, with one exception being McKay the businessman who is constantly trying to talk you down from destroying everything or taunting you for his missions. I really feel like FC3 hasn't been topped in balancing the development of your allies and antagonists. Dennis and Sam were both just as present as Vaas, Buck, or Hoyt. FC4 had the allies present to, but I don't think Sabal or Amita were likeable enough to endear you to them like Dennis did. Still better than FC5 and now 6 however.

The point of Amita and Sabal is supposed to be they aren't the good guys just because they're on your side; but I kinda wish they would have built to that more. 80% of the game they come off more like fussy children bickering with each other, and then once we get to the late game they're kinda suddenly "what, didn't you know I was evil the whole time??" They should have been shown to be more on the same page IMO, so the actual arguments seem more reasonable. As is I don't understand why they both haven't just split into two different factions long before Ajay shows up.

You should award more points for story and villains because they are much more important IMO to the game than the more little things like character customization in a first person game, still a great video though

Far Cry 5 has a far better story, more focus on each of the regional leaders and a more diverse map. Far Cry 6 has better game mechanics and smarter ui.

The point of having 4 weapon slots is so you have to consider what your loadout is for whatever you are trying to do.

And how he Ended it Normally u are happy that u killed the villian, but anton doesnt give u this joy. He even kills diego, because he knows he would undo everything he did. How he did with thruth or lies. He really makes u feel bad about beating him and how u release if they didnt kill him diego would have fixed all. Just such a good ending

I really did love Anton and how he saw things under his reign compared to his son who had didn’t want to be involved in it. It did hit me pretty hard as he took his own life instead of Dani doing it. As the other commentor mentioned, he robs you of the joy to kill him, and on top of that he kills his son because he knows if Libertard got their hands on him he surely would’ve had a worse fate than what he has with his father. Meaning Diego is the true victim here. It’s more interesting take on defeating the Villain and just seeing Dani upset about Diego’s death… it’s a dark ending and that’s why I prefer FC6 over FC5. But to each their own opinion

@@marweha7002 the thing that made the ending so good was how they created the feeling of "you won, at what cost"

The supremos and gun system in 6 is awful. 5 did it right by letting the PLAYER build their character how you want. Music in 5 is so much more memorable too, small thing, but that music hits hard. I also enjoy takedowns in 5 more too. They felt real, kneeing a cultist in the face or breaking their neck. In 6 you hack and slash and stab with a machete in the most inefficient way which takes a full 5 seconds to complete. 5 all around felt like a more real scenario and down to earth in a way. I keep going back to it.

I agree with you but really liked the constant map on your screen during gameplay in Far Cry 6

It is a shame that FC 6 does not have an editor like FC 5

I’m actually torn between which game is better.I prefer the villain, world and soundtrack from FC5, but I do prefer the gameplay and vehicles from FC6.

i just have to watch the fc6 intro everytime i start the game up. they really did a great job on that one

Honestly, I wish there were alternative outcomes to each major battle in Far Cry 5, where you make a choice and take each of them in and save their life, showing them there IS another way. Show John that his methods were REALLY messed up, showing Jacob that sometimes the role of the strong is to protect others, and helping Faith come to her senses, leading to a different outcome with facing Josef. Take John to Fall's end, take Jacob to the Wolves Den, take Faith to the jail, and make a case for showing each of them mercy, and then maybe they each willingly give you their key, Faith after she gets detoxed and deprogrammed. Each of them had seen the worst of humanity, give them some of the best.

I personally enjoy the soundtrack for 6, but also can we talk about how good the music for inside vehicles is? Plus, i love the touch of Dani singing along with songs when you listen to music in a vehicle. Nothing beats a helicopter flight to dani singing some awesome music

I loved FC5's story. It's far more interesting. Peggies are really creepy, they're just regular people who were brainwashed by a hallucinogenic and dangerous drug to obey the cause. Their mindset is really fascinating and I enjoyed every second of their presence. Also the heralds were great, especially Joseph. FC6, not so much. The story was pretty boring, some of the main villains were ok. I found myself skipping all the letters which I found late game, I didn't really care for them and it bugged me.

If you want some more backstory on Castillo in Far Cry, six, then read the book. It dives pretty deep into his backstory. Which is not great, but it gives some backstory.

far cry 5 was my first farcry game and every other game i try doesn’t even come close or is a really old farcry with old game mechanics that i don’t have the patience to sit thru lol

I personally love using a tank and going ham on AA sites, checkpoints, and outposts. I especially love tank battles. There's something about engaging enemy tanks with your own that really makes it more satisfying when you win.

Far Cry 5. - No tacked on RPG elements or gear system. Simply point and shoot at the enemy and he dies and buy all the perks you want without having to switch gear all the time. - Much better map. Yara is simply the same villages and bases copied all across the map. Montana had much more variety and every location felt handcrafted, especially the outposts and prepper stashes. - Better companions. In 5 they give you both human and animal companions with different abilities. In 6 they just give you animals and that's it. I don't feel like I'm fighting a revolution if it's literally just me doing all the work. - Better story. Say what you will about 5's story and villains but at least they left an impression on me and there was a real sense of urgency. In 6 the villains literally do not know you even exist most of the time. You can holster your weapon and the enemies don't even attack you even though you are a wanted terrorist causing chaos all across the island. The villains get killed off as soon as they are introduced and you barely get to know them. 5's villains at least were given ample screentime and made you want to kill them. 5 also had much better allies. The allies in 6 are either bland or extremely over the top and there's so many moments where they expect me to care if someone dies but I don't.

What I’ve learnt from listening to all these far cry takes is that you can ask anyone their preference and they’ll likely give a completely different opinion from the last you heard and I love that. Maybe one version has sentimental value or they hate some of the others by comparison but they’ve all somehow got their own right answer

FC5 For the win all the way 😁

dont forget on far cry 6, your character sings while driving when certain songs come on. Havana, livin la vida loca, etc. to name a few. That truly added some character to the game.

I liked Far Cry 5 more simply because the story spoke to me more closely than anything I have ever felt on any game I've ever played (other than perhaps Borderlands 2).

Well it's kinda tough..idk..but I will say FC5 has waaaaay more replay value!!! After I beat FC6 I had no desire to do it again..beat it in 3 days then back to the division 2

Hah, finished far cry 5 3 times , I played the first time for like 8 hours. Far cry 6 is already boring after 2 hours.

As someone from Montana far cry 5 will always be my favorite

Idk if it’s because I’m American and you’re liberating an American county but I’ve never had more satisfaction “clearing out” an open world. Just the way the map organically changes and reveals itself, every time I open the map I feel like I’m a special forces commando dropped behind enemy lines and I’m kicking ass and making a difference. I can’t really put my finger on it but I’ve never got that immersion from any other gane

I think a key component left out is the the partner systems in both games, I personally liked farcry 5s way more, there is much more variety and more logic in fc5

All fc5 music is AMAZING !!! best in any game I've see .

Far Cry 6 is a great game. I love the storyline and all the characters, but Far Cry 5 got me into the series and to me that's why I'll never forget it.

I like the fact that whenever you are talking about a protagonist or antagonist in a far cry game you always say '' it's still not at the level of far cry 3'' legendary game

I enjoyed Far Cry 5 more than 6. From the scenery, to the story. I've completed 5 I believe 3 times already, and I haven't completed 6 yet. There's a couple of things I don't like about 5. Being randomly captured is the main thing I hate. Once in every region would've been fine, and anything over that is excessive. I hate that The Rookie was a mute, and I wish it was more to do before you finished each region. Other than that, the game is great! Keep your rifle by your side 🎵🎼

I like FC6 for the setting and 3rd person scenes because your character actually has a personality. I also like that lowland spanish accents finally get some shine. However, I really liked the 4 bosses in FC5 who were probably the best ever.

I agree with Dani and how they can expand on his arc. Going through the game and seeing how he reacts to certain plans that are cruel or losing someone, I just felt like it was… lackluster. Like Diego at the end, I wish that with him being shot and dead we could see Dani become so upset with the group and how indifferent they felt about Diego, a kid, dying and maybe even see him become the villain himself and try to kill them. But that’s just a suggestion to his arc

Agreed. To me what's interesting is the they gave Dani so much character and personality but didn't do anything with it. Yet we have far cry 5, the deputy has no personality yet Ubisoft took it upon themselves to work with and dissect a character with no character.

man, shovel throwing in the far cry 5 was sooo fun

I've read the comments and I agree with most of them, but I think 6 has a lot more to do, it is more difficult. I ran through 5 pretty easily. I like the fact I can have a tank. And Adding the Stranger Things mission to it just made it even more badass.

Definitely Far Cry 6 the whole game is just more lighthearted and actually funny with pretty good missions and story! Plus Yara is beautiful.

@@cooler5968 ....Way better on getting the players get bored as the story progresses and as you clear the regions only few enemies will only show no trucks and enemy in the cars driving around

@@zeaccu934 if you free up a region, then less enemies will show up and villain gets weaker. That’s the point, you want to feel that you are actually doing something. I clear a region in 6 and rank gets harder, I’m like in what reality does this happen?

The Soundtrack in 5 is incredible! Haven’t played 6 yet

I love both of these games,i can’t choose what’s the better one
