you can actually. i think after you do one or two main missions clara contacts you and the mission to kill him pops up. atleast for me i hadnt even cleared one of the henchman yet but i could go do it. be aware though its really hard.

this vid convinced me to give it a chance. glad I did the gameplay is fun as hell and the story is still kinda been there done that but the new location is pretty decent too

With the sniper rife you had 8:54 you can make it op with armor piercing rounds and just headshot enemies easy and you can even add a side sight for close range

If you do end up finishing this game I definitely recommend playing the rest in co-op personally, the fun factor doesn’t wear off too much when you’re fucking around with a friend causing chaos
