Why did I think the whole movie was gonna be about her living in the Walmart 😂😂

Same here, and I thought Ashley Judd played Natalie's mother. Turns out she's just the nurse lol. I've learned things from this trailer.

Man, I remember when this movie used to play on the lifetime channel all the time. I'd always watch it. Brings back good memories of relaxing at home in summer/fall, wrapped up in a blanket, and binge watching romcoms

The movie was very good. Natalie was so young and she is a great actress. It shows us that being nice and kind it attracts positivity and good fortune. That's why Novalee had always help and many friends to support her.

That Walmart is no longer a Walmart. The building is basically the same on the exterior, but remodeled on the inside and it’s now the municipal court in Lockhart, Tx. I think about it every time I have to go pay a speeding ticket or appear in court. LMAOOO
I saw this movie once on TV as a child, why do I remember it SO WELL??
I found out this exists one minute ago and I think it might all be an elaborate prank.

i remember watching this movie. when was pregnant with my first baby. a little girly. but sadly lost my baby during labour. find it hard to watch this movie. because as i was watching this i had this dress i couldnt wait to put on my baby girl was so excited. now the heartache on it.
What a stellar cast! All my favourite female actors.
Good movie. But it's funny now because WAL-MARTS are open 24/7. If you made the movie now she could live there without bother...LOL!

I read the book a long time ago. You're right, they did keep to the book for the most part. But one major difference is in the book Forney was a much younger boy than Novelee and they were friends. In the movie, they were love interests. Personally, I liked that they made him a love interest instead.

Omg, I watched this movie on tv when I was very very young, I could not remember anything than crying so hard and the scene whe she was alone and prgenent at the gas station, I searched about it for more than 16 years until I asked Chatgpt about this story and it gave me the name of it , I came to cjeck if it is right and I feel very somthing Ican not describe , I will watch it again to find what hit me when I was a xhild like that as I barely cry 🥹❤
Does anyone know what's the name of the narrator? That voice is iconic!

Sometimes it's hard to don't want to look over your shoulder 'Cause you don't want to remember where you've been There'll come a time you die, If you could only hold her 'Cause i know that's where i am So listen with all your heart Hold it inside forever You may find all your dreams have already come true Look inside and find the part that's leading you 'Cause that's the beat of a heart Sometimes you'll drown it out with all your rage and thunder Sometimes you'll drown it out with all your tears There'll come a time when you hear it and you'll wonder "where in the world have i been?" So listen with all your heart Hold it inside forever You may find all your dreams have already come true Look inside and find the part that's leading you, 'Cause that's the beat of a heart No one can tell you how to get there It's a road you take all by yourself (all by yourself) All by yourself So listen with all your heart Hold it inside forever You may find all your dreams have already come true Look inside and find the part that's leading you 'Cause that's the beat of Oh it's the sweetest sound, 'Cause that's the beat of a heart

I know its a movie, but aren't Wal-Marts open 24/7? Even if they weren't, dozens of night stockers & their managers are there. I like movies where scenarios are plausible ... like SPIDER-MAN, or Wonder Woman, ot even Jurassic Park ;)
