Dany Muembo I think it was that he makes her frustrated and she “hates him” but she actually really likes him and is excited for him to call her. I’m not 100% sure, but I think that’s it :)

This movie was slumber party gold in Elementary school. It was a wholesome, 80s girl movie.

Me looking back at 2020 makes me want to go back in the 80s

I can't believe that Sarah was told that she wasn't pretty enough to make it as an actress. Who ever said that needs to open their fucking eyes! She's gorgeous!

One of my favorite movies as a kid. Loved the 80s. I miss the style, the hair the whole bit. I thought Helen hunt was so cool as the badass best friend and SJP with the moves. One of those movies that deserved multiple viewings.

i adoreeee this movie, it makes me feel like im not living my teenage years properly and makes me wish this pandemic was over so i can start having fun like this again

I swear I’ve watched this movie like 50 times. I use to watch it everyday as a kid and still love it as an adult.

I cannot express how much I LOVE this film, it's so worth watching, any time, anywhere

I adored this movie as a teenager and now that I found it on Amazon Prime I watch it once a month (or as time permits as a wife and mom of 3). The 80s were the best!

I love this movie! I also liked “Don’t tell mom the baby sitter’s dead”.

80s trailers are the best! Girls Just Want To Have Fun is such a feel-good 80s movie with a great cast and a memorable soundtrack. They don’t make them like this anymore! Stay Gold, Australia's Retro Man.

I remember having this movie on dvd and I would watch it ALL the time with my sister. One of our favourite movies ever.

The montage of them training/dancing gave me life when I was younger!

I was today years old when i found out its not just a song but a whole movie 😱

I'm guessing here, but this movie was filmed without a title, Cyndi Lauper's song became a hit, the producers figured "why not" and titled the after the song.
